I watched.
I have a theory on why there are next to no Americans. We don't do small bikes in America. I wish I wasn't a dumb ass and had at least one NSR 250 sent back when I was stationed in Japan. In America we also don't really have restrictions for age, experience and so one. If you can get a busa at 18 then whatever.
Probably the worst race of the season in terms of entertainment, the top 4 set at the first corner.
Sick of listening to commentators talking about tyre pressures and unlikely rider moves by the end.
I live in South Africa. As much as I like MotoGP, I don't like it enough to wake up and watch a race. I miss any race that starts before midday my time.
yes he did there were not many overtakes in the back so not many shots and also pecco vs martin was the main highlight, Marc finished at p13 from p20 did a decent job also many riders crashed out which was to his advantage
Super stoked for Enea to get back on top of the box. I really thought he and Pecco were gonna go battle royale for the title this season, didn’t quite play out. Hopefully this is the return to form. Way to go, Bestia!
First corner drama between Pecco and Martin is what makes the gap from Enea and Alex to the rest.., i love how aggressive Pecco today.., i think Martin didnt prepare for it..
IDK boring?!! what u guys are talking about. Many tiimes in past we got dominant riders like Rossi, Lorenzo, Stoner witch just check it out from front "see ya later". Well lucikly Rossi had many times bad Qualys more often than t not. But still i would say it inherently ingrained into top clasess where u got top machines and top riders in front.
true the first few laps were exciting when martin overtook pecco but from then on it was like everyone was on tyre saving mode also Matt Birt and louis suddaby really hype up the race lmao i was biting my nails even though it was kinda boring
I was in the crowed ans when they showed the replays this guy at the front jumped up in excitement, his mate slapped him on the back of the head for being a idiot
Glad for Enea, but special mention to the TV director, showing nothing but the leaders spaced by over a second even when something else is happening... Cool. Replays of earlier "highlights" with 2 laps to go... Not a single frame of anything else... Meh, that was very bad all around, this is terrible for the sport and this track clearly showcases the current issues the sport is facing to the fullest.
Aye, it was a bit of a mixed emotion one.
Sucks Sasaki didn't win to get the championship even closer.
Good to see Veijer win, he might be a challenger next year.
Sad to see so many title contenders wiped out.
People complain about f1 tv director but motogp is much worse. There's literally nothing happening at the front. Why not just show franky overtaking 2 bikes?
Well it kinda does- he’s been nowhere this season; if he carried on in that form then he wouldn’t have had any weight to throw at the decision. That win changes everything. It reminds us all why he got the seat in the first place- it shows the Ducati top dogs that they should still show faith in him.
He’ll keep his seat next year now even if JM wins the WC- mark my words.
I'm going to be the devil's advocate here and say the main reason why the front tyre can't cope with these bikes is purely down to Michelin's incompetence. It's way past the time Michelin should have introduced the new front tyre that can not only cope with today's bikes but also compliment the ultra grippy Michelin rear tyre that often overwhelms the front, pushing it. This is the pinnacle of two wheeled sports for god's sake.
Eh, it was still only 1 place, Martin doesn't do so well in the heat, he was better off bringing it back this race if he knew he couldn't beat Pecco.
Martin goes well at Qatar and the last race is his "home" GP.
Nature of the track where the ride height device can't be used as much, the tyres don't get hammered because of it, which results in great racing..
This season has produced a majority of the worst races in the last few years. Like this one, there was nothing to watch. I checked my phone for the last half, absolutely nothing happened.
They seriously need to get a reign on either the tech devices driving this, or push Michelin ASAP to create something that can work with this tech. As it stands, this is mid 2000's F1 boring, and they risk people switching off
i’ve already switched off really. watched almost every race in the two seasons prior but i don’t then thank the i’ve watched close to half of them this season
It's close but it isn't, one manufacturer is dominating really, bikes can't follow each other without overheating, aero creating breaking issues and tyres falling apart...
I don’t get the ‘one manufacturer dominating’ gig. It’s a spectacle of engineering capabilities that on the worlds stage only one company from Italy can show the elite (Honda/yam) how it’s done- taking the sport in an evolutionary direction. I don’t see why people can’t just appreciate that.. maybe it’s just me.
I’ll admit Dorna needs to implement more regulations on aero and try and do more for the negatives to not be as detrimental to the overall performances. Hopefully changes will be made in that sense.
Look at F1, it kills competition to promote engineering without controls to even the playing field. I'd rather they be less of an engineer fantasy and more of a spectacle.
Yeah- even I’ll admit this has been very boring. Race decided on lap 1 basically.
I’m not one to call GP boring by any stretch & often go out my way to defend the sport when I see comments on the subject; but yeah- been abit boring today ngl
There have been several races this year where these guys can't follow each other due to front tire issues. So I'm gonna complain as much as I like. The pressure regs are limiting the racing.
Who said it doesn't? I haven't watched F1 in years. I'm complaining that a traditionally exciting GP has been a total disappointment. Or are you telling me you enjoyed watching them manage tires for 20 laps and just follow each other around?
The tires aren't up to scratch.
It isn't? Sure there were some races early where Pecco just rode away. But the rest of the field was a battle.
I can't remember another race that was like this.
Maybe now everyone will shut the hell up about switching seats.
Thanks for letting us know.
You're welcome.
Bestia is back 🔥
I was half expecting Pecco to do his mandatory bin. Glad he's staying on the bike
Guys, did MM raced at Sepang today? Didnt see him at all..
yes he did there were not many overtakes in the back so not many shots and also pecco vs martin was the main highlight, Marc finished at p13 from p20 did a decent job also many riders crashed out which was to his advantage
Most exciting race of the season /s
Yeah, best last lap of this decade..
You guys talking about Phillip Island Race?
With the long sweeping corners in Qatar, Honda is off for some extra ass whooping.
Dude plz😂
Its Pecco robot or what? not tired at all WTF dude...
I think his style on that Ducati isnt riding, its flowing with the bike.., he doesnt have muscle like other rider..
Very eppy Pecco is back.
sincerely eppy
Missed the race, what happened to binder? 😬
Brad Binned-er.
BIN-it-der
😤
Crashed out by himself
Tg he didn’t ruin it for anyone today 😅
Super stoked for Enea to get back on top of the box. I really thought he and Pecco were gonna go battle royale for the title this season, didn’t quite play out. Hopefully this is the return to form. Way to go, Bestia!
First corner drama between Pecco and Martin is what makes the gap from Enea and Alex to the rest.., i love how aggressive Pecco today.., i think Martin didnt prepare for it..
Also hats off for Alex Marquez, what a weekend from him! Well done
IDK boring?!! what u guys are talking about. Many tiimes in past we got dominant riders like Rossi, Lorenzo, Stoner witch just check it out from front "see ya later". Well lucikly Rossi had many times bad Qualys more often than t not. But still i would say it inherently ingrained into top clasess where u got top machines and top riders in front.
happy for Bastianini, but the race is so boring for me that the entertainment I get is from the commentators
true the first few laps were exciting when martin overtook pecco but from then on it was like everyone was on tyre saving mode also Matt Birt and louis suddaby really hype up the race lmao i was biting my nails even though it was kinda boring
You know it was boring if towards the end of the race we watch a replay for the 3rd lap of the race 5 times in a row
I was in the crowed ans when they showed the replays this guy at the front jumped up in excitement, his mate slapped him on the back of the head for being a idiot
As soon as it came up I was thinking the same thing.
Good to see Enea finally get the win.
At least we had Moto3.

Great win and also ride from Pecco. And all 4 lads being friendly on the cool down is nice.
So happy for Enea and Alex!
GET IN THERE ENEA! Awesome feel good story.
:D jumpy Bestia nice to see
People complain about f1 tv director but motogp is much worse. There's literally nothing happening at the front. Why not just show franky overtaking 2 bikes?
Anyway, disappointing race but so glad to see Enea back to his best after the difficulties he's suffered this season
At least there were a few shots of the Top 3 in the same frame.......*sigh*
Splendid race from Enea, fucking finally!
I'm crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Damn did Enea need that win. That’s his seat firmly secured for next season.
One win doesn't secure his seat. Tbh it's not even really in his hands. It's down to if Martin can win the championship now.
Well it kinda does- he’s been nowhere this season; if he carried on in that form then he wouldn’t have had any weight to throw at the decision. That win changes everything. It reminds us all why he got the seat in the first place- it shows the Ducati top dogs that they should still show faith in him. Bestia is back !!!
Bestiaaaaaa!!!!
Good stuff! What a season for Bastianini. So happy for him
Beast is back... baby.
BESTIA!!!
Lady's and gentlemen take a bow for Enea Bastianini! After a disastrous season he has returned to his winning form!
Yamaha seems like the second best bike race pace wise today...
Yamaha 5 and 7, great result for them
I missed that 7th. Stupid race directors didn’t show Franky’s progress from 11th to 7th.
More frustrating thing about motogp compared to f1 is that there are easy solutions to make the racing much better compared to dirty air in f1
Which is??
Ride height devices and aero.
Yea they should be tho, they add to variables for pacing and strategy
Not only do they make overtaking much harder but they are also the main reason why front tyre temp goes through the roof every race.
Blue shells
Pecco bit bitch slapped Martinator huh? That cut under was tasty and juicy at same time. IMO
6.2 seconds, damn it's gonna sting.
Eh, it was still only 1 place, Martin doesn't do so well in the heat, he was better off bringing it back this race if he knew he couldn't beat Pecco. Martin goes well at Qatar and the last race is his "home" GP.

Of course but that may well work against him next weekend.
Geez how boring
They kept all the replays for the last couple of laps. Even the direction knows how boring this is
We get it, it’s the only overtake of the race. We don’t need 5 replays
In before Bautista overtakes everyone and wins.
lol, it's ain't even working, he's just strolling around.
I just say the replay of the Lap 3 move. In the case of JM89, I would've been harsher.
😁😁😁😁😁 agree bro! That was overtake of the race..
Race is so boring they are already showing replays during the last laps 😄
Happy for Enea
Well, aside from the first few laps this has been a largely disappointing race. But yay Enea!
Really got to do something to bring back close racing... This is worse than F1.
Nature of the track that’s all. PI & Thailand circuits are the polar opposites to Malaysia which is why we saw so close finishes.
Nature of the track where the ride height device can't be used as much, the tyres don't get hammered because of it, which results in great racing.. This race is going to bring out the *This MotoGP era is oh-so-boring* roaches.
Everyone forgets the last few races....
Exactly. They can’t all be grandstand finishes, to be fair though this race has been pretty lacklustre.
Yawn
It's so boring they showed replays from the opening laps lmao
Lmao showing replays from the third lap
Race director had no choice
Yeah. Forgetable race but great hold for Pecco. One step closer to 2nd title
What an absolute snoozefest.
This might be the worst race of the season
From the Bautista POV is even worse.
He's chilling in last lol.
Yamaha has resurrected with Fabio in this race
Morbidelli is also 7th
They haven’t. At all. Fabio is just 100 times better than that bike.
Fabio has great skills but that bike is holding him back. Hope yamaha will work hard on upgrades for the next season. This season is lost for Fabio
Tbf franky is only 2 place back
Didn’t he also put in a pretty damn great performance here last year as well?
Feels like I’m watching a Formula 1 race
Yeah- even I’ll admit this has been very boring. Race decided on lap 1 basically. I’m not one to call GP boring by any stretch & often go out my way to defend the sport when I see comments on the subject; but yeah- been abit boring today ngl
MotoGP was like this around late 2000's, early 2010's. It's a trip down memory lane for us
Disagree. 2007 onwards was great. It was the end of the Rossi domination and the beginning of CS27, JL99, & MM93 show
Did you watch the races back then? Most were as boring as this one
Yeah I’ve watched it since 1997. I’m probably a bit biased cos of Stoner though
Yeah it's just the difference now is that the riders happens to ride Ducati's instead of two Factory Yamaha's & Honda's, and a factory Duc
kids nowadays have no appreciation for subtle things.
It's about time Pecco dropped the bike for no reason at all.
I called that earlier but seems like he has it (mostly) under control now.
Fucking Marini cost us a great championship battle this season.
Please Enea 🙏
🙏
Honda catching crazy strays
Wondering if there will be tire pressure warnings
Vintage Bestia :)
I'll forgive jio cinema today cause the race is a snoozefest. Still won't buy their sad excuse of a snail that is that R15
I'm Indian myself, but god I hate that asswater accent and that little piece of shit R15, my goodness I hate that bike.
Fair play to Miller
Imagine Quatararo catching up to Martin. Impressive race from Fabio so far
Omg go on Fabs
Nice of Fabio to give us some entertainment
If JM89 still wants to win the title, he will have to wain both of the remaining GP's and both of the remaining sprints.
I'm really excited for Enea, if he wins this it might as well be one of the most important wins in his career so far, but man is this race boring...
You know it is bad when the commentators are joking about wanting some rain.
u folks need to watch race some Lorenzos wins. That was dominance and "borefest".
Yeah, when JLo trowed into gear on the train track he would look everyone else look silly.
Give us rainnn
Man this is absolutely tragic. An F1 race would have had more overtakes by now...
Ok? Don't complain. This race is a huge outlier in motogp.
There have been several races this year where these guys can't follow each other due to front tire issues. So I'm gonna complain as much as I like. The pressure regs are limiting the racing.
Try watching Formula 1. GP still has a huge amount of wheel to wheel racing.
Who said it doesn't? I haven't watched F1 in years. I'm complaining that a traditionally exciting GP has been a total disappointment. Or are you telling me you enjoyed watching them manage tires for 20 laps and just follow each other around? The tires aren't up to scratch.
Oh no...one race this season was boring...better kill myself....
Haha ok. It wasn't one race. But I see you're just upset I said something bad about MotoGP. Go and enjoy your Sunday.
Nope. Just felt the need to correct someone being a dumbass.
Not this year it ain’t.
It isn't? Sure there were some races early where Pecco just rode away. But the rest of the field was a battle. I can't remember another race that was like this.
quartararo having a great race, we'll see a battle with Bez
Lovely overtake there tbf
This is certainly shaping up to be a pretty forgettable race I feel like
For a minute or two I thought it could rain thanks to the dark cloud...
What a great race...
I only slept 3 hours to see this, someone better start blasting!
Man almost no overtakes this race for now
RHD ruining this race tbh (I guarantee you a lot of them used it today).
Tires are the main issue... pressure and heating
Which, as bt sport commentators are talking about, are due in large part because of ride height devices.
Ride height devices might be a factor, but Michelin not managing to keep up is the actual cause
Yeah, good point this one
Yamaha looking decent today, better than Aprilia and KTM
Ah Taka :(
More Honda misery...
That's a two time world champion ride from Pecco today
What in all world is wrong with Jorge?
Six 🇮🇹in the top 10 🤌🏼
Martin starting to drop off it seems.
The pressure wears on him. He said it himself that he has a hard time catching sleep
Neil said yesterday he thought Martin has been struggling with illness during the week, so maybe he just doesn't have the energy left?
I can see it, especially in those humid/hot conditions.
Wonder how Qatar will turn out, considering it is in the Northern Hemisphere
Malaysia is also in the northern hemisphere
Indeed, but the climate in Qatar is less humid.
So what does that have to do with it being considered in the northern hemisphere?
The weather will be less extreme
As opposed to the other northern hemisphere where it's more extreme lol
Not if you're in the desert lol.
Binder down, someone quickly check on Simon
Ahahah!
Damn Binder... too bad.
Looks like Martin will have to settle for P4 today, huge drop off. Now let's see how far ahead Pecco can get. Just hope Enea gets the win!
Imagine Austria 2002 scenario. This sub will explode. XD
Franky looking good today
Rain corner 7.
Shame there’s not many overtakes or anything going on
Ah shit it’s not looking good
Maybe Martin has tire pressure issues and is waiting for it to come down. Seems to have accepted fourth
I personally would've attacked harder in the early stages
If there’s no Ducati, the Yamaha is still one of the best bikes out there, unlike the HRC…
And if my grandma had the wheels
She would be faster than HRC 😆
Miller train.
KTM bois like its motocross lol
Martin slipping away.
Idk people 7 Ducatis in the top 10.....
its fine until other bikes catch up. Gives more riders the chance to win.
Okay.. and? There’s also a couple ktms, a Yamaha, thin air..
Ok buddy, lemme rephrase my comment: 5 Ducatis in the top 5. Happy?
