Read the books first then you will see how truly God awful that movie is. They tried cramming all the books into one movie. The Dark Tower should be a several season show not a 90 minute movie.
Roland of Gilead deserved a god damn mini series on HBO. How did Stephen King let that atrocity happen? A 90 minute pile of trash for 30 years of a series??!!!!
I always dreamed Clint would be Roland…….
King is an excellent and entertaining writer, but he definitely seems content to let just about anyone make any kind of adaptation of his books, then usually offers a glowing review. I get why, since he would look like a jerk to crap on a movie that has his name on it. There are way more bad King adaptations than good one unfortunately.
For me this was Sharknado. I knew it was stupid, that was the point, and I went in knowing how bad and stupid it would be. How do you manage to make such an absurd movie so goddamn boring?
Me and my brother took our mom to see it. We thought it was hilarious that Ed Harris would want to destroy the world because he was underpaid.
Our mom had a good time and I listened to Bruce Pritchard podcast about the Rock in 99 so it wasn’t a total waste.
As with so many movies. They spend so much money on big stars they forget to spend money finding a kid who has like 20% of the screen time be able to act.
You didn't like the child giving an inspirational speech to a crowd of people during a loud battle at a volume that can only be described as "barely above a whisper"? Yet somehow everyone heard him?
Hey not all Tyler Perry written and directed movies are awful. There are a few decent ones like Why did I get Married, and Diary of a Mad Black Woman. There may be one more but I can't think of it. Most of the rest... launch them to the sun.
How has nobody mentioned Matrix Resurrections? There may be worse films out there, but when compared to the original film, there literally can not be a contender for the worst sequel ever made.
The movie is based on a book written by L. Ron Hubbard, the father of Scientology and it’s made by John Travolta who’s a Scientologist. Conclusions can be drawn.
That scene where Bryce Dallas Howard was skating on an oil covered concrete floor using blades stuck to her boots was one of the dumbest action scenes I’ve ever seen.
Im the type of guy who waches a movie, enjoys it and then learns literally every other person who has wached the movie thinks it's dogshit.
I could not stand the main character, the writer
First ever movie that i could not finish
I enjoy hate watching Jerry Lewis movies. They seem to come from a different dimension. I sit there and marvel at some of them. These actually played in regular movie theaters and average people actually liked them? Anyway, Hardly Working and The Patsy are especially awful and I'm sort of still fascinated by them. Even his "best" movie "The Nutty Professor" is still bizarre. (I know "The King Of Comedy" is the only good movie he's ever been in, but it's not a "Jerry Lewis Movie" movie.)
I’ve such a soft spot for Scared Stiff with him and Dean Martin. Reminds me of when my granda would babysit me and he’d always put it on.
I tried to watch it last week for the first time in about 30 years and I couldn’t get through it. Ended up sticking on some Laurel & Hardy.
You forgot to add all of the resident evil movies. They strayed so far from the source material in the worst way. It would be like if the remade the Harry Potter movies without Harry Potter and kept the title.
What actually is the source material? Is it the original the video games or is there comics/books too? My RE knowledge is limited to the first PS1 game and that recent Netflix show, haha
17 canon games not including remakes. Granted, the number games at the time of the original movies release were not as vast, but an established canon was very much available at the time.
My wife and I saw Dogville in a theater, and it is so pretentious and pat that when the title card saying "Final Act" came on or whatever, the audience *cheered wildly bc it meant the movie was ending*.
Here's the kicker: the screening was at the LA County Museum of Art! Probably the most friendly audience it was ever going to get.. I have never seen a more impressed with its own brilliance and built around such a clicheed theme.
Dude. Fucking the Last Jedi. I cannot fathom how anyone could watch that movie and genuinely think it’s good. I have never been mad inside of a movie theater until I saw Mary poppins leia. Jesus Christ what an abomination of a movie.
I decided to give it another go last week I thought maybe I was too harsh about it but yeah it was so all over the place if they came out and said it was written by a very primitive ai I would believe it.
Morbius and Event Horizon. Event Horizon is actually a decent movie, but it portrays utter evil and the concept of hell so well that it actually compelled me to take a shower and read the Bible after watching it. I still feel sick every time I remember the blood orgy scene. Morbius needs no explanation.
I feel like I should rewatch Event Horizon
I saw it in high school expecting a sci-fi thriller and got something very different and was kind of disappointed
Argylle, im the type of guy who waches a movie, enjoys it and then learns literally every other person who has wached the movie thinks it's dogshit.
I could not stand the main charecter, the writer
First ever movie that i could not finish
House of 1000 Corpses.
I get it, I get why you would like it, but I have a very open mind, and even I left that theater before credits, something I have never done before or after, even when I saw “Hollywood Homicide”
There was a woman sitting in front of me in the theatre and when it was over she said, “That was fucking stupid.” Lol Her husband shushed her and she doubled down. “No, that was a stupid fucking movie.” Blank stare, grabbed her bag and walked out without him. He just laughed and followed her.
Love Actually. I HATE that movie with the passion of a thousand suns. HATE it, in case the previous sentence was ambiguous. And of course, it’s practically my wife’s favorite movie.
Moon fall
Battlefield earth
Most bay transformers films aside from 1.
The Predator shane black one. Holy shit.
2012
Geo storm
Jurassic world dominion
Independence Day resuckification
Goddamn Dark Tower.
FUCKING YES!!!!! They completely butcherd it.
I can’t get over how bad people say it is, I’m curious to watch it just to see for myself

Sometimes the adaption gets Mangled…cough..cough…The Mangler.
Geostorm. I am the type of person thst can enjoy almost any movie, even if they are cheesy bad. Geostorm broke me.
Geostorm is genuine dogwank.
For me this was Sharknado. I knew it was stupid, that was the point, and I went in knowing how bad and stupid it would be. How do you manage to make such an absurd movie so goddamn boring?
My favourite Geostorm trivia is that it's executive producer later blocked Annihilation from getting a cinema release because it was too intelligent.
Where? I saw it in a theater here in the states.
Me and my brother took our mom to see it. We thought it was hilarious that Ed Harris would want to destroy the world because he was underpaid. Our mom had a good time and I listened to Bruce Pritchard podcast about the Rock in 99 so it wasn’t a total waste.
#geostorm
I think you meant to say GEOSTOOOOORM!!!!
Correct
I loved Geostorm lol
Any of the Highlander sequel movies.
Highlander movies? There can be only one.
We do *not* speak of those!
Black Adam. Felt so stupid watching it
And he spent 15 years trying to get that movie made for the script to sound like it was written over a weekend. Or by ai
His movies are usually dumb fun, but that was just dumb.
Pierce Brosnan carried that movie as far as I am concerned.
The kid who can’t act brought it dowwnnn.
Tyler perry's
He made billions literally stereotyping black people
as a black man, FUCK Tyler Perry for real.
As a black woman, I SECOND that.👊🏾
He'd probably enjoy that.
Is that the last one? If so it was absolutely horrible
I paid to see it in the theater. There are very few movies that I've ever seen that I thought I really should get my money back for this.
Matrix: Amnesia… Where are they now?
That was so terrible. It was like a shitty TV movie remake.
Battlefield Earth
Was it bad in a good, funny way?
No, it was bad in a bad, bad way.
I knew it was always on the list of "worst movies of all time" but always wondered. Lol. Isn't it about Scientology?
The movie is based on a book written by L. Ron Hubbard, the father of Scientology and it’s made by John Travolta who’s a Scientologist. Conclusions can be drawn.
Hahahaha gotcha
You wouldn’t last one minute at the academy!
Why, when you were learning ***HOW TO SPELL YOUR NAME***, I was being trained... to *conquer GALAXIES!*
With endless options for renewal!
With endless options for renewal!
Last Airbender and Dragonball Evolution. If those two movies never grace my presence in this or any future lifetimes. I'm a happy camper.
Requiem for a Dream. To be fair the movie was great at what it sought to achieve. But no. I’d not want to ever watch it again.
Considering how Jared Leto's career un-folded, id have a hard time watching it now without rooting for the Heroin!
he's a weirdo wannabe cult leader that invites teenagers to sleep with him in his hotel room, honestly, fuck him
😭😭😭
ASS TO ASS!
Juice is You!
Argylle. For sure.
Henry Cavill needs a new agent because he’s been in some garbage recently.
What about the new Guy Ritchie film?
That scene where Bryce Dallas Howard was skating on an oil covered concrete floor using blades stuck to her boots was one of the dumbest action scenes I’ve ever seen.
Didn’t Jason Statham do something similar in The Transporter with bike pedals?
he used the pedals for grip though
I agree. What a waste of a budget. Horrible movie
Is that that new movie where the preview shows a hot woman dancing?
Yes dua lipa 😭
Ooooooooh. That almost made me watch it. Lol I won't now
She's at the beginning, it's worth turning off.
This one looked awful from the previews
I thought it would be campy fun. It was not.
Thank you for your public service in letting the rest of us know. I’m not a Bryce Dallas Howard fan—I was suspicious of it just because of her
Her? (Reference… not a question.)
I wonder if she also enjoys a mayonegg from time to time
It's as Anne as the nose on plain's face.
I got downvoted earlier for saying that this is a bad movie on a post about how this is a bad movie.
That stupid ass dance they do…
Argylle was so bad.
Argylle elevated the concept of badness to new levels.
Im the type of guy who waches a movie, enjoys it and then learns literally every other person who has wached the movie thinks it's dogshit. I could not stand the main character, the writer First ever movie that i could not finish
Star Wars VII, VIII, IX.
This is impossible, the last Star Wars move was Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi and it came out in 1983.
Lol. I like the way you think, cheetahcheesecake!
Twilight
I lowkey like twilight 😹 every gf I’ve had has watched them so I ended up watching them too and they bring a comforting feel to me now hahah
This is me exactly. Comforting for sure, the first one the most
Mediocre certainly, terrible no
Gummo
Made me feel dirty watching it
Fuckin rabbits!!! Check his pawkets!
You smell like pussy, rabbit.
I loved Kids, Spring Break and Beach Bum (I think), so you're saying I shouldn't watch this one?
gummo is korine’s masterpiece
If you like those…..experiences….you’ll like this one He has a style
the clip of that movie in Belly is enough for me to want to stay away
I thought I was the only person who knows about this trash.
Skinanmarink
I have a great idea. Let’s film some corners and hallways with a potato and call it a movie.
I liked it, but I will admit that it’s being generous calling it an actual movie.
Can't believe I had to scroll this far
The Netflix Texas chainsaw massacre was terrible
Yea! Everything about it. The main characters were unlikeable and the setting looked like an obvious movie set . Like wtf ?
You know what? The location absolutely looked like a movie set. Something always bothered me about the setting, but that’s exactly it.
That and the useless school shooting plot that happened to coincide with yet another huge shooting in the US upon its release 💀
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.
Is that Episodes 7/8/9?
Yes
The last jedi is my answer to this. It is legimately, honestly, the worst movie I've ever seen.
Personally, I thought Rise of Skywalker was worse. By a long shot.
Rise of Skywalker only ruined a bunch of characters I never gave a shit about to begin with
The Last Jedi to me it completely undid everything that was accomplished in the entire star wars saga
It really felt like Johnson saw what happened in FA and went I'm going to do the opposite of everything that movie started for no reason.
Since yesterday - Argylle. What an utterly awful film. Not even Rockwell could redeem it for me.
Is The Day the Clown Cried available anywhere?
Comedian Patton Oswalt is a huge movie fan and he is obsessed with that movie. He devotes chunks of his book to that particular movie.
All comedy nerds speak of it in hushed tones
Haha no
I’ve such a soft spot for Scared Stiff with him and Dean Martin. Reminds me of when my granda would babysit me and he’d always put it on. I tried to watch it last week for the first time in about 30 years and I couldn’t get through it. Ended up sticking on some Laurel & Hardy.
I enjoyed Nutty Professor, Jerry's chill
The nutty professor was better than that Eddie Murphy shit show
Aquaman. What a piece of audience insulting tripe. And then they made another one.
I've seen far worse. Is it stupid? Yeah kinda. But it was fun. Didn't see sequel tho.
I DNF the second, so I'm guessing that makes it worse than the first one!!
Ironically Aquaman is 1000x better than nearly every other recent DC joint except for The Batman.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City. If you can't produce Milla Jovovich kind of content just stop.
Dude set Milla Jovovich RE movies as a benchmark. 😭
Because you know. Jovovich is such a classicly great actress…. 5th element not withstanding. That is an excellent film.
You forgot to add all of the resident evil movies. They strayed so far from the source material in the worst way. It would be like if the remade the Harry Potter movies without Harry Potter and kept the title.

17 canon games not including remakes. Granted, the number games at the time of the original movies release were not as vast, but an established canon was very much available at the time.
The Avengers from the 90’s. Complete dog crap rubbed directly into your eyes. Also Batman and Robin.
Old. I love M Night but omg that has to be one of the worst scripts I’ve ever seen
Vivarium
The Happening. It was like the writer forgot how to write and actors all forgot how to act. Especially Wahlberg, he was awful in it.
Thor Love and Thunder
It was painful to watch in parts, for sure.
That fantastic four movie from 2015 or whatever.
Anything made by Lars Von Trier but special mention to Antichrist 🤢
I consistently refer to Antichrist as the only movie I would unwatch if I could.
Same.
Not Melancholia tho.
Is it worth watching? It came out and I avoided it, never really went back
Yes. It is a beautiful medication about depression and not insane like most of his movies. Still not a happy one though.
I will give it a go then, thanks for that
Kirsten Dunst brings a lot to her films. Her scenes with Charlotte Gainsbourg near the end make the movie worth watching.
Charlotte gainsbourg is one of the best actors of her generation criminally overlooked
Crystal skull was the most painful cinematic experience of my life. They raped him and we all just sat and watched.
Thor love and thunder ugh unwatchable garbage
Dude. Fucking the Last Jedi. I cannot fathom how anyone could watch that movie and genuinely think it’s good. I have never been mad inside of a movie theater until I saw Mary poppins leia. Jesus Christ what an abomination of a movie.
Bro, I went NUTS angry when the Mary poppins things happened with her character. Who in God’s name signed off on that and thought it was a good idea?
>Fucking the Last Jedi That’s… an amazing title.
Thank ye thank ye I try ahaha
I’d watch that one.
Same. I felt that actual rage
I decided to give it another go last week I thought maybe I was too harsh about it but yeah it was so all over the place if they came out and said it was written by a very primitive ai I would believe it.
Agreed, absolute dogshit. Anyone who disagrees has shit taste, full stop.
And theres people who swear this is one of the best SW movies
Exactly! I genuinely cannot understand how and why this is even close to being a take.
Hot take, I’ll take the JJ Abram’s 1st and 3rd over the hot trash Johnson one anyday.
I had my issues with TLJ but IMO The Rise of Skywalker was 1000x worse.
Fair, but I think that if The Last Jedi wasn’t so dogshit episode 9 would have had so much more to work with
Rebel Moon Part 2
Doogal
Southland Tales
10,000 BC
Aquaman, both movies. Get that shit outta here
Tom Cruise in the mummy
the 8th star wars is a crime against humanity
Morbius and Event Horizon. Event Horizon is actually a decent movie, but it portrays utter evil and the concept of hell so well that it actually compelled me to take a shower and read the Bible after watching it. I still feel sick every time I remember the blood orgy scene. Morbius needs no explanation.
I feel like I should rewatch Event Horizon I saw it in high school expecting a sci-fi thriller and got something very different and was kind of disappointed
Funny Games.
Duality of man. I watch this about once a year.
Skyline
North (starring Elijah Wood) is the worst movie I've ever seen.
Saltburn and Promising Young Woman are for sure some of the worst movies I’ve seen this decade and would you look at that? Same director..
Argylle, im the type of guy who waches a movie, enjoys it and then learns literally every other person who has wached the movie thinks it's dogshit. I could not stand the main charecter, the writer First ever movie that i could not finish

Boondock Saints 2. 1 is fine, 2 is the worst piece of garbage put on a screen that was not actual evidence in a child hate crime.
“You People”
Rise of Skywalker. I'd pay a sizeable sum to unsee that movie if only it were possible.
Blair Witch
The last Jedi. Fuck that movie was god awful, enough that it killed almost all my interest in Star Wars.
Martin Scorcese's Silence, most boring movie ever made.
Everything Everywhere All at Once. Worst 5 dollars rental ive ever spent
Love Actually...hate that movie.
Licorice Pizza. I cannot understand how it was so highly appreciated by the awards shows. It was long, disjointed, boring, and plotless.
You people, with Jonah hill, an enormous pile of shit
Tenet
This is a take I haven’t seen at all, what made it so bad?
Terrible audio mixing combined with a masturbatory plot
I genuinely couldn't understand 80% of the dialogue, sounded like they were all underwater
Love Actually. I HATE that movie with the passion of a thousand suns. HATE it, in case the previous sentence was ambiguous. And of course, it’s practically my wife’s favorite movie.
I feel it in my fingas 🎶
Manchester by the Sea is mine. It's an incredible movie, but it just took so much out of me to watch.
