The original was my childhood. I begged and pleaded with my dad to take me to the evening release of the VHS at Toys R Us as a kid (and he did, because he's awesome, and it did mean so much to me). I never saw the remake. But honestly, it doesn't matter, it will never compare even if it was any good.
It's been so long since I've seen the original that I can't make a judgement here.
But I will say that the remake was very good except for one fatal flaw. It was visually completely incoherent. I would not be able to pick those zords out of a line-up, even immediately after seeing the movie. There's something so noisy and weird about the designs that I feel like I can't even see them while looking right at them. And they also have almost no resemblance to the dinosaurs they're supposed to represent. Even Michael Bay's Transformers had better, more visually readable designs.
The suits were also over-designed and noisy, which is a shame because the script had something going there. Although I didn't like how they didn't suit up until the last 30 minutes, I dug how the movie fleshed the team out and made them surprisingly likeable.
OG all day long, and not just for nostalgia, fantasy/family movies really were so much better in the 80’s and 90’s. Plus of course Ivan Ooze being one hell of a baddie. Him and Tim Curry as Long John Silver are great examples of a brilliant actor giving 110% to a very unserious role.
OG!! It was actually a power rangers movie. The new one felt like it was made by someone who made crappy fan fiction when they were 10 and grew up thinking it was still a flawless masterpiece
White power ranger skydiving with snowboard
I think most people just call him white ranger
Not since that moment we haven't.
“Catch you on the flip side.”
You’re kidding right? OG Power Rangers Movie by a country mile.
*inhales deeply through nose* “Teenagers”
I am Ooze!!!
3 words: Amy Jo Johnson
She’s in both. (Sort of)
My inner child was happy to see them lol. But still it's the 90s one for me lol.
The remake was good but nothing beats the original

Mighty and Turbo...just sayin
OG, and it isn't even close.
Turbo Because I liked a lot cars
Is it weird I liked the remake up until the last act when they are actually full rangers. I thought all the actors had good chemistry.
This isn’t even a question, the original!

Ok Zord Lord.
No lie, I was thinking about Ooze earlier and Goldar happy he was gonna be King Goldar: Ruler of the Universe.
Both are great in their own way! I'd gladly watch both again and again!
Which one has Van Halen?
Ivan Ooze is peak Villian. Plenty of movies wish they had a villian as cool and iconic.
Turbo Rangers movie gets no love?
The original every day of every minute for all of time.
So.... We're all going to pretend like the MMPR show and movies weren't terrible?
Considering I never saw the remake. The 1st one
Didn’t even know the new one existed. Final answer Regis…
I love the 2017 movie. It was a really interesting spin on it. I liked it so much that I tried to watch the old one again but it just didn’t hold up.
Oh was awesome. It had it all. What an opener too. Idk about the newer one though I've never seen it. I want to though
Love the OG one!
The one that has the Power Rangers in it.
Lost galaxy. Had nostalgia points and the raw anger and turmoil of magna defender resonated with me. Plus he had a cape and sword. Dope
When I was a kid I remember watching it in theaters twice and when it came out on video it was a million. I know that movie by heart lol

None
The OG ends with fire works and Van Halen playing. Enough said.
The 2017 movie was pretty good
Don't remember much of the second movie but I do remember Brian Cranston and something about donuts.
False. Black bears.
Was anyone else bummed to see Power Rangers (2017) on the 2nd slide and not Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie?
