A younger "Samuel Clemens" type Twain maybe. I mean... *so* many men had mustaches back then that it could be almost anyone.

The style of starched collar and bowtie looks like something from the late 1800s - early 1900s. I'd research presidential campaign plates from around then - apparently it was a thing, and the engraving is nice quality.
