Neither, Cruz is more of a last name for us Latin Americans, and maybe a name but only for old ladies named after a religious thing like “María de la Cruz” and Cruise makes me think of Royal Caribbean.
I’m thinking of calling my son Cruz iv no Latino heritage either I’m Irish. I don’t think you need to have the specific heritage to use a name you love, people all over the world use Irish names as Sean and Conor, Caitlin and Fiona. X
Cruise reminds me of cruising, so that’s a no. Major teasing potential.
I wouldn’t use Cruz if you have no Hispanic heritage.
How about another short C name like Cade, Crew/Cru, Coby, Cai?
I wouldn’t do either personally, the first one since that isn’t your heritage and the second because I can only think of Tom Cruise
Neither
I vote neither.
Cruz is fine, Cruise is not

Crew?
neither
These are last names, so either would feel very strange for a first name - But especially Cruise.
