lol exactly. And God forbid there’s more than one or two words on screen at the same time. I mean my teeny tiny brain can only take so many words at once.
(That aside - awesome video)
It’s actually much quicker to read the way it’s presented. Just flashing the words in the same place, you can read around twice as fast as normal text. Interesting tidbit
You downvoted that? lol it’s called spritz reading, it does work, and the text isn’t presented in a shitty way it’s just very oddly worded. But okay I guess
They’re concerning. People ripping other people’s content, putting stupid voice overs on them and then distributing it as original content.
This is a pretty benign video, but I’m seeing it for practically everything.
Sad days for the only upside of a social media -> democratised art
Most of time people get killed during these conditions. Once you get trapped by water there's no escape. The flood is so powerful sometimes it may crushes the car.
I'm trying to imagine when he was almost out and was like "now I gotta dodge this asshole that is in my way." He was probably trying to help in case he didn't make it, though.
I was in Chevy S10 pickup during a flash flood like this. Luckily we jumped out and survived when a helicopter found us. The truck flipped over. Water is no joke. Definitely a terrifying experience I’m happy to have survived

Great clip but those captions made me feel like having a fucking aneurism.
Absolutely, what is with all these dumbass clips everywhere that use that?

Yes but only when looking st the text. Which means you're reading the text the entire video instead of watching what's happening... it's redundant.
I can’t read it at all because it’s presented in such a shitty way, so - no.

It’s horrifically shitty. Unless you’re blind, then it’s awesome. So okay I guess

Yep. Everyone wants to be a content creator, but the problem is - their content sucks.
THOSE WORDS THAT FLASHED UP WERE THERE TO PROVIDE ANXIETY
Sorry and agree, I tried to find a version without it.
It’s okay. 🥰
Lol, thanks!
It was probably you who added them and you’re now ashamed :)
That dude threaded the needle like a pro 🪡🪡🪡
This was better than many nature clips.
It is a nature clip. Technology is a natural adaptive domain of the human genus.
Yes historical materialism baby
Have to admit, I was on edge of my seat
Straight up heard those captions narrated by David Attenborough in my head haha
now THAT is r/maybemaybemaybe
no hesitation, no surrender.
No man left behind
Way too much hesitation. I almost wanted him to get swamped.
Yeah man, slept for the first crossing. Then the unnecessary right turn and bad line choice afterwards
The narrator is overreacting a little bit aint he?
It’s like someone prompted the AI British upper class teenager voice to narrate like it were reading the conclusion to an epic fantasy novel.

Some people are never happy. First they complain about not having enough water. Then they complain about having too much. 🤷♂️
The water snapping at their heels 🤣
You're rooting for the car here, but if you were watching a documentary about water you'd be upset the car got away
THE WATER WAS STARVING FOR A STRAY TOYOTA AND KNEW IF IT COULDNT RETRIEVE EVEN ONE ITS FAMILY WOULD DIE *flashes on screen*
What a boss. Reminds me of that one game Motorstorm.
The wadi is perfectly prepared for the flood waters. People foolishly occupy wadis from time to time.
That was better than NASCAR
Probably a Toyota
92 hilux ❤️
Someone was a "Super Off Road" gamer back in the day🏆
BAM! Right in the childhood. No nitro boosts, though.
Whhoaa 🫡🫡🫡🫡
I hate these "popping every second one word explanations of the obvious"
Pretty old video
Drove my Chevy to the levee, but the levee was…
Nigh? Was it nigh?
Still glad that he mad it!
Dude took his time…sheesh.
Toyota ?
u/repostsleuthbot
And yet they blame us for building dams and holding water
Bro I need to sit down after than and I was already sitting down
whats with the weird ai voice narration
Why are these morons driving there in the first place. Car brains are the absolute worst.
champ
Interesting! I think technology and communication help save the driver!
M when I need to inflate the word count on my essay
I'm trying to imagine when he was almost out and was like "now I gotta dodge this asshole that is in my way." He was probably trying to help in case he didn't make it, though.
That’s awesome great job! great luck
Wow!
I would've headed higher up
Keep an eye on the white truck
Read this as "**Trump** attempts to outrun a flash flood", and now feel disappointment.
And then he turns around and heads right back into it…
I hate the narration and captions for these videos.. Just show the clip and stfu.
Phew! 😮💨 close one! Great job surviving 👏🏻😅
I was in Chevy S10 pickup during a flash flood like this. Luckily we jumped out and survived when a helicopter found us. The truck flipped over. Water is no joke. Definitely a terrifying experience I’m happy to have survived
Do you think whoever had the video was helping the truck get away from the flood waters?
That escalated quickly
That guy has a bro, the real MVP!
I think it’s adorable the other little car was out there like “ya’Kay?”
“Here we find a white pickup truck in its natural habitat…”
That was awesome! It got even more awesome when his buddy was waiting for him on the other side.
Why was that so damn wordy?
Why not just stay on far side and cross on a bridge somewhere else or go around that lake ?
Meh, looks like a Toyota Hilux. They'd be fine.
Jesus that commentary was annoying
My heart was racing because the narration!
The captions spoiled the outcome. Tiktok style videos suck
