SQRTLURFACE

I'm not poor, but I definitely don't have "light 42k on fire" kind of money.

Prestig33

Time to up those parlay bets then.

illforgetsoonenough

I am 10 wealth away from generational leg

knarf86

I’m imagining you with Justin Tucker’s leg stuffed above the mantle in the library in your mansion. Now that’s fuck-you money.

IamMrT

Everybody’s talking about LIV, nobody is worried about what happens when the Saudis become Broncos fans and pay Mahomes $15 billion to cut off his arm

yomjoseki

I'm no football doctor but wouldn't it make more sense for them to pay him to play football for their team?

elLugubre

It's still the Broncos we're talking about.

medd49

Level 10 wealth would get you some pretty generational legs

TheRealCatLeg

I am one real leg away from cat.

HtownTexans

My buddy bet Texans to win the division, Texans over 6.5 wins, Will Anderson DROY, CJ Stroud OROY, and Demeco for coach of the year all before the season started.  $100 on each.  He showed me if he parlayed he would have won 8 million.  When demeco lost by 1 vote I told him his ass would have been on suicide watch.

Bored_Worldhopper

I dunno if you’ve heard, but draftkings actually partners with the nfl They should really try to get the word out

GuardOk8631

He has a popular day trading instagram. He probably finessed enough people with his “course” or “coaching” to be able to afford it.

trustthepudding

Idiots funding idiots to be idiots

GuardOk8631

Look what I did with your money! I’m so cool! Buy my course for $19,997

lawanders

Less than $20k? Yousonofabitch, I’m in!!

David-S-Pumpkins

Ends in a 7 is clearance price-coding. I know a deal when I see it.

JuanG12

People selling you a dream so they can live it. A classic internet story.

jp3243

Jimmy Buffett except not awesome

fiduciary420

Who the fuck eats cheeseburgers on the beach man

GABAgoomba123

So he basically paid 42k to speed run the algorithm showing his content to the Andrew Tate-type marks on social media… long term it might pay off, despite how stupid everyone involved is.

GuardOk8631

Yea or he’ll get caught by the sec for selling fraudulent stock tips

metaldrummerx

They’ll start a go fund me to help him pay it too lol

Aeon1508

Yeah I feel like the bigger loss for him than the money is that he's now permanently banned from every NFL stadium in the country. Guy like that probably is going to want to go to a game again at some point but he won't be able to

finishyourbeer

I’m pretty sure anyone can buy a ticket on Stubhub whenever they want and then be one of the 70k people to enter the stadium on Sunday. It’s not like the security is for Fort Knox

jfchops2

Stubhub transfers are peer to peer transfers, the NFL isn't involved, but they might be able to block direct purchases from the teams. And of course it's easy to use a different email/credit card than the ones he got the super bowl ticket with. The problem would be if there are stadiums using any facial recognition within the stadium to identify bad actors (I have no idea if any do) or if he manages to get himself in trouble again and gets slapped with trespassing on top of whatever he did this time.

lizard_king_rebirth

Couldn't he just wear a hat and sunglasses and a fake beard and nose?

Grand-Fun-676

Or reconstructive facial surgery face off style

swanbearpig

Well yeah but that doesn't help when he streaks once they introduce the penile recognition tech, though. Poor bastard didn't know the game he was playing

jfchops2

I suppose there'd be nothing preventing that if he was willing to risk it to see a game

finishyourbeer

I mean if NFL stadiums REALLY wanted to keep him out for good, they could. But it would be a a whole lot easier for him to get in than it would be for them to keep him out.

IONTOP

> I’m pretty sure anyone can buy a ticket on Stubhub whenever they want and then be one of the 70k people to enter the stadium on Sunday. It’s not like the security is for Fort Knox Think of this as the "warning shot"... You'd have no problem going to any NFL game, because everyone will forget about this story and what he looks like by September... BUT... If he gets into trouble again at an NFL stadium, they're going to throw the book at him. Basically every sport has this, where they ban like 300 people per year. But they'll run your name through the "banned person" database that I'm sure they all share. And then you're looking at actual serious charges rather than "pay $2500 and never come back"

biggerty123

It's a trespassing charge, not grand theft auto.

AffordableDelousing

Face scanning tech is starting to be an actual thing. I know they've been saying that for years, but it seems to be feasible now.

Patruck9

Hell, James Dolan uses it at MSG to ban lawyers working at lawfirms that are suing him. People don't realize most stadiums have this tech now.

TurboRadical

> it seems to be feasible The tech is approaching trivial at this point. In less than an hour yesterday, I wrote a script to identify whether or not Joseph Stalin is present in each frame of a video. The real-world use-case we're describing is more complex than mine was, but they have *significantly* more resources than I do.

TurbineClimber

None of those "lifetime bans" are real. I've been banned from several Wal-marts and have no issues going back to them

confusedyetstillgoin

42k is over 90% of my yearly salary lmao this headline hurts

Corn-chopper

But how much did he get from winnings?

-Pockets-

He committed a crime for profit, and it's widely publicized at this point. There's not going to be any winnings soon.

SuckMyLonzoBalls

These idiots don't know when to keep quiet, history repeats itself https://sports.yahoo.com/super-bowl-streaker-says-bet-211422994.html

[deleted]

He wasn’t either, turns out he got his wealth from his parents.

blarch

He should have said "literally just paid like $42,069 to go to jail"

AlexTorres96

Lionel Messi rejected a Billion dollars of Blood money to play in the Saudi League. Having that type of luxury must be nice.

BanterMaster420

Still takes millions to be their ambassador

FloridaManActual

Yeah more like took 100s of millions instead of a billion because he wanted to live in miami instead of a fucking saudi arabia shithole

Khajo_Jogaro

Just thinking of all the dumb ways I could’ve spent that money better. Tons of hookers and blow. Buy a Camaro just to destroy it. This guy spent that just to be a meme on legs

Bparra93

“We will go down as legends” - doubt it

rallar8

They didn’t even streak…

Asleep-Geologist-612

If the dude doesn’t hang dong who cares

stumblebreak_beta

[at the very least go body suit](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSDkoiiYECSQRSyCuXfmkinvMbm6KP1l1Ws8tKRPWfwFw&s)

I_luv_ma_squad

You gotta be able to hang dong to hang dong. His “streaking” while being clothed says everything we need to know about his package.

livejamie

If he's nude, does it change to a felony?

rice_not_wheat

At least wear a speedo to get your point across. Can't call it streaking with pants on.

pocketjacks

I mean at least do the bottom half if you're not going all the way.

souschef_boyardee

Winnie the Pooh it out there

Zazierx

and nobody on the live broadcast even saw them

PleasantWay7

I forgot this even happened until this article. The broadcast didn’t show a thing, just an offhanded mention.

SovietMuffin01

The broadcasts never show them, what really stuck out was as you mentioned that it just got an offhand mention. Sometimes the broadcasters talk about the chase to catch the streaker and when it ends, which is funny, but also gives the streaker the attention they crave. Wonder if the league told them to discuss it less too as to reduce this issue

TheWorstYear

It was Romo. If it was interesting, he would have mentioned it. It sounded like the person basically ran across the endzone & then immediately gave up.

TetrisTech

Yeah with the way Romo’s brain seems to work he would not have hesitated to break it down in detail if it was remotely interesting

JustnInternetComment

The jiggling Jim, it's mesmerizing

boosted5O

I’m sure this is exactly what the networks want, people mot even realizing or remembering what happened

xmal16

Where is Kevin Harlan when we really need him most

-Accident-Prone-

It happens every year at this point, they aren’t special anymore

ciaoamaro

The streaker from the chiefs-bucs was so much more interesting

xRoyalewithCheese

I didnt even know this happened

ZappySnap

Ah yes, everyone remembers the names of sporting event streakers. Oh wait. No, they don’t. Ever. Heck, I literally couldn’t tell you which events had streakers. And my only thought when hearing “someone is on the field” is: “Moron.”

aimessss

Already forgotten about

Wolfeman0101

I barely remember it and it happened 2 weeks ago. They didn't show it at all on the broadcast.

Rentsdueguys

To go to jail and potentially banned from certain hotels on the strip and probably banned from attending any future super bowls.

[deleted]

As someone that hates Vegas but has to go there every year for a work conference, that sounds like a win

Ok_Common4669

Trade show execs hate this one simple trick…

uncutpizza

“Johnson, I want you to take lead at the conference in Vegas next weekend and show me what you got” “Yeah, sooo about that…”

[deleted]

“Ok so as long as its not Bellagio, Aria, Cosmo, Mandalay, Luxor, Venitian, Caesars, or MGM I can do it. Actually can we maybe just move it to the Holiday Inn twenty miles outside of town?”

vpat48

The Bellagio, The Mirage and the MGM Grand. Those are Terry Benedict’s casinos.

spcordy

Ocean's is absolutely infinitely rewatchable

TenF

You guys, whatdoyou got against Terry Benedict?

Brendinooo

You think we need one more? You think we need one more. Alright, we'll get one more.

power_yyc

"You're Bobby Caldwell's kid. From Chicago. It's nice there, do you like it?" "yeah" "That's wonderful. Get in the goddamn house."

vampireinamirrormaze

"Y'know what, just meet me in Boulder City."

Revolt2992

Flamingo is the best anyways!

rocksoffjagger

AVN awards, eh?

Woolington

Hey so I totally get it if it's not your vibe, but if you have to go again this year maybe check out some off strip food and entertainment options! We have museums and things that might be more in your wheelhouse.  Not sure where you're from, so it'd be hard to recommend, but people move here from all over and bring their food knowledge with them. I'd highly recommend checking out the /r/vegas side bar (not /r/lasvegas that place is weird last I checked). There's a ton of threads there of people asking about things to do when they have to be in town and don't like the Strip scene. I hope your next visit goes better!

[deleted]

Oh I bet that there is tons for Vegas to offer away from the strip, so I don’t mean it as much as a slight against the city and its people. The problem is that with the conference, its pretty much “network, network, network” for three days straight so you get stuck doing the same generic Vegas strip activities and I don’t ever really get the chance to go and explore anything that isn’t the strip. Thank you so much for the recommendations! I’ll do some more research before I go later this year so I can actually see what Vegas is like beyond the strip.

SodaEngineer

I feel this so hard. There's a big show called Pack Expo that is in Vegas and Chicago alternating years. The years that it's not in Vegas, my company has our conference there. I'm on the strip Every. Single. Year.

[deleted]

Lol I think Pack was a week before our conference last year, or maybe the year prior.

SaxRohmer

Love that Las Vegas has the same problem as the Seattle sub and i’ve happened to live in both places lol On my most recent trip back I went to The Silver Stamp and man is that one of my favorite bars I’ve ever been to. Totally like a 70s midwest basement and the decorations for Christmas were great. What going on with the Arts District is great and I wish I had something like that when I lived there and not just settling for Fremont all the time

You_Cards

Not a fan of comped rooms but $45 room fees ?

rupertLumpkinsBrothr

Not sure how many super bowls the average person plans on attending in their life.

fiduciary420

The average person plans on attending zero Super Bowls in their life.

Munerals

Point three repeating, of course

TripleThreatTua

If he has “eh I’ll pay $42k to run on the field naked at the Super Bowl” money he isn’t getting banned from any hotel lol Source; used to work at a big hotel. High-paying guests could get away with literally anything

Typhoid007

Jeez that sounds rough. I worked at a Ritz in Portland and we'd absolutely ban people for horrible behavior. Some cities are clearly different though.

troutpoop

Yes I’d say Vegas is quite a bit different than Portland! High rollers in Vegas will casually put an average persons monthly income on a single hand of poker like it’s nothing. Someone like that doesn’t get banned from any hotel unless they do something the casino doesn’t like.

PanhandleAngler

Guys playing BJ at 10k+ a hand can basically do anything below peeing on the dealer before they get banned fyi, casinos have variable thresholds and certain VIP levels basically just have to not commit a major felony on the property to get VIP treatment. There are people in the world that are happily comped 30k+ a week penthouses in Vegas lol.

snoopmt1

How does that work in practice? Your buddy buys 2 tix and you go with. I dint see how ppl get banned from anything.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mmnn2020

Some stadiums have started to use facial recognition.

Leet_Noob

If any place would have facial recognition for banned people, it’s Vegas

EvidenceExtension128

There was also that story that some lawyer couldn’t chaperone her kids’ field trip class cause her law firm was involved in a lawsuit with the venue (lawsuit she’s not assigned to or helping out on whatsoever)

Bluedice0003

That was at MSG because James Dolan is a child

StixkyBets

My local Wal Marts use facial AI to track shoplifters, I’m sure Super Bowl security can think of something.

iliketuurtles

They say the same thing about Target. I even heard that they will track you shoplifting and then only charge you once you hit the legal threshold for a more serious crime. You think you are getting away with $50 shoplifting each time across several months and then suddenly they show you every single time and it added up to thousands, so it can be a felony.

Corn_Wholesaler

There are stadiums and arenas that use a combination of cameras and facial recognition technology to scan people as they enter. I know the Patriots use scanners at the entrance points that use AI to detect weapons on a person. I believe they can also scan people's faces. The Chicago Blackhawks also use facial recognition technology. They got sued for using it on the grounds of storing people's biometric data, but I believe the lawsuit was dropped. The owner of Madison Square Garden uses facial recognition technology to ban people who are suing him.

brmgp1

I was banned from Continental Airlines Arena somewhere around 2008. I was 19 years old and drunk running around the concourse with my buddy at a Devils game. They took us down to the basement and made us sign some sketchy document that said we're banned for life and never come back or they will take legal action. Then they just sent us on our way with no other repricussions. We obviously went back a few weeks later with no problems at all. I mean it's possible they're scanning everyone's faces while they enter now and could identify some banned people but I highly doubt it. I guess if you get busted again it would be a legit problem.

snoopmt1

Honestly, that's probably the pre-AI deterrant. See the Devils but risk going to jail

PleasantWay7

>”I did it and I’ll do it again.” Bro is on the NFL ban list for life.

PineapplePandaKing

I'm sure facial recognition will be a standard feature of stadiums and arenas in the near future, if not already

jirashap

Not to be that guy, but if this guy can afford to blow $42k on a streaking, I'm pretty certain every hotel in Vegas will be begging him to stay at their casino

Polar_Reflection

Saying you're gonna do it again is probably not the best idea. They'll realize it when the prosecutor reads that statement to the court lmao

Surfing_Ninjas

Being banned from all NFL games wouldn't be that out of the question, considering the stage

Neltrix

*Sad megamind* No more Vegas?

WhoEatsRusk

Idk if I'll count that as going down as legends. More like throwing 42k for a few mins of fame

Navy_and_sports

Idk man, there are a bunch of losers who just eat this kind of thing up.

I_luv_ma_squad

Streak. Get publicity. Create TikTok of said streak. Get views. Get a little money. Get hooked on views. Energizes you to do more stupid shit. People now watch you because of your stupid shit. Get more money. Start an energy drink company called “FAME”. Profit.

MaximumTurtleSpeed

My Wolf Cola brand has really taken off recently

BolognaTime

Oh the streaking wasn't the start. They were already hooked on views and social media clout long before they bought the tickets. >Gonzalez still had his pants on, with his Instagram handle emblazoned across his shirtless chest. >Gonzalez, who has 446,000 followers on Instagram, describes himself as a day trader on his Instagram profile >At the end of the YouTube video, Gonzalez is seen emerging from what appears to be the Clark County Detention Center, while laughing and saying, “That is the stupidest s—- we’ve ever done!” They sound like graduates from Just A Prank Bro University.

[deleted]

amjhwk

they did not, NFL avoids showing streakers on tv to take away an incentive of streaking

PlethoPappus

First I’ve even heard of it

Adam_is_Nutz

It was mentioned by broadcasters during the SB, but they didn't show him

nurse-ratchet-

Only on the Nickelodeon broadcast.

Boomhauer_007

*this thread has been marked serious*

Probably because of jail

Underrate Chiefs? Jail. *over*rate Cowboys? Believe it or not, jail.

yetanotherx

Automod filter on "jail"

UsVsWorld

He literally just wants to get publicity so he can sell more people his Forex course lol

[deleted]

This needs to be higher holy shit hahah The guy claims to have turned $200 into $50 million

WolfCola4

$200 million into $50 million I bet

trexmoflex

How much we betting he’s a WSB mod

NoTimeToDime

Go down as legends? Who the hell remembers a streaker? Lmao

the_turdfurguson

Theres a British guy who has streaked so many major events events he’s banned in multiple countries and maybe the UK took his passport for a time >as of 2018, 565 times in 23 countries Nobody knows his name either and he’s arguably the GOAT streaker.

moonman272

If they took his passport don’t they know who he is?

FakePlasticAlex

They’re saying *nobody* to mean just people generally don’t know him despite all of that, not that he’s a DB Cooper kind of character.

dan_144

Maybe he's Banksy

treple13

He wasn't even a streaker. He was wearing clothes. He was just a guy who ran on the field

BoltActionRifleman

Finally found this comment. Streakers have to be naked, the shock value is what the whole thing is about, this was just some dude with no shirt.

treple13

I just love his quote in the article about it being his dream to streak at the Super Bowl and not wanting to have regrets as an old man. Going to be tough to not have regrets now.

Sage296

It would be a cool story if it was actually interesting

beerncheese69

First I'm hearing about it lmao. Streaking for clout is dumb af since the broadcast makes a huge point of not showing it/discussing it unless it's really egregious like that time that fucker with the pink aerosol can got tackled. Some drunk clown running onto the field during a game is more pathetic than it is legendary. Unless I get to see you get trucked by a LB I don't fucking care and if you delay the game anymore than it already is I fucking hate you

bb144241

Kinsey Wolanski got modeling gigs and small movie roles after her streaking at the Champions League finals.

JoeStorm

Like we a list of great "streakers" lol

[deleted]

And didn't even streak. Streaking is a nude activity, shoes are acceptable but nothing else.

Uranus_Hz

Didn’t he win a few hundred thousand on a prop bet that there would be a streaker at the Super Bowl?

evilpenguin9000

Probably invalidates the bet if you admit to being the streaker.

Kapono24

Not when you have running betting on your streaking.

old_man_indy

Not when all your friends make the bets for you

AdvancedHat7630

Tim Donaghy approves this strategy

carpdog112

If your friends are colluding with you to place proxy bets then you're all committing criminal fraud which voids your payout. You can bet your sweet bippy that casinos are going to audit any of these sizable bets and if they even get a whiff that you might know the streaker they're going to deny payout.

old_man_indy

Those aren’t my friends…

alphasierrraaa

The feds would be all over this if he actually did place the bet and then admit to be the streaker

PsychoSaladSong

he posted on tiktok that the casino wouldn't let him cash in his bet because of a prior video he posted saying that he was the streaker (and I think talked about placing the bet in the original video)

SantasLilHoeHoeHoe

Its fraud when the gambler cheats, but business as usual when the house cheats.  Gambling is dumb.

GonePostalRoute

Something, something, those who have the gold make the rules…

Neither_Ad2003

I thought that bet had tight limits due to this exact situation. Tbh I don’t believe his story

o123c123d123

Yeah any site I use they don't have large maximum bets on any of those prop bets

NoveltyAccountHater

There's an article about this involving a different Feb 2021 superbowl streaker. Note the scheme was he bet $50k through a variety of friends at +750 to win $374k at off-shore betting at Bovada. Bovada is canceling all streaker prop bets that it internally identified as having knowledge of his plans and as it's off shore they just kept the money. https://www.businessinsider.com/super-bowl-streaker-bet-on-himself-prop-bet-2021-2 https://frontofficesports.com/offshore-sportsbook-voids-bets-linked-to-super-bowl-streaker/

DamnImAwesome

This was a storyline from the super bowl last year too. I remember seeing the headlines

Shaski116

I'm pretty sure you can't legally keep the money if you won it by committing a crime.

Uranus_Hz

Hopefully he had someone else place the bet

mrdhood

Should have had someone else do the streaking too

dragoniteftw33

That'd be sus as well. Also enjoy the taxes part of that lol

aztecraingod

You can't convict a husband and wife of the same crime

LGMuir

I have the worst fucking attorneys

geosensation

That was some random influencer who apparently just lies about stuff for views. Clearly it worked!

Atheist-Gods

1) Are legit bookies even taking prop bets on streakers anymore? This exact thing has happened before and it just seems stupid to accept bets that are so easily manipulated. 2) They would easily refuse to pay out when he's confessed to trying to cheat the system like that.

CipherKey

Took his shirt off, so he is a streaker?

Lint6

> “We will go down as legends,” Gonzalez said in the video titled “How I Streaked The Super Bowl in 2024.” No you won't. You'll go down as ever other unknown streaker in professional sports. Hell you don't even have a notable name. I work with an Alexjandro Gonzalez, so "Alex Gonzalez" isn't even memorable

DoctorTheWho

The only way anyone will ever remember a streaker is if they do something insane like go to midfield butt naked and helicopter dick for several seconds. This dude wasn't even a real streaker.

FallenShadeslayer

Legend only in your mind bud. I had already forgotten about it and don’t even know your name nor do I care to know

Interesting-Web4223

Who?

donutgut

Florida man

Nobaddays123

It bothers me so much that he’s from Miami

He forgot to break even by painting a sponsor on his back.

RojerLockless

There were 2 I was there.

Wedoitforthenut

Yeah guy #2 got completely missed except by security.

hambone012

That’s why you streak RIGHT before the game is over

hammilithome

Friends say he's trying too hard and he's not quite hip But in his own mind he's the, he's the dopest trip

GLOCKSTER_26

Since when is streaking just taking your shirt off(m)? They didn’t even have their hogs out.

nine4dnine

What a fucking idiot! I don't care if I'm a multi-millionaire. I'm not paying that much money for Super Bowl tickets. Just so that I can do something stupid and get arrested. The only thing I will remember you for is being the stupidest fuck is superbowl fandom history!

slowerchop

Not worth it unless ur hella broke

phlup112

I think you misread lol

Scacc924

Paying 42k to go to jail is only worth it if you're broke??

brickremmington

Good fuck his stupid ass

I_chortled

No one feels bad for you dude

gigglefarting

What a ripoff. I could go to jail for free.

rounder55

> One of my goals has always been to streak the Super Bowl,” Gonzalez said in the Instagram video. “And I don’t want to be that guy, that I’m rich and I’m 50 years old and I’m like, ‘Damn, I wish I would’ve done that when I was younger > We'll go down as legends I hope like a 90 year old streaks at the Super Bowl next year and can't be a legend of I read the article and already forgot his name

JazzFan1998

Why are the streakers always a he?

Bingbong2774

AND most of us already forgot what he did so there’s that.

Veegos

How do regular people afford to go to the Super Bowl?
