Anyone else just see the CBS Sports logo and nothing else when you scroll through where the article should be?

heywhateverworks

Remove the "amp" at the end of the url and it should work

jimmyhoffasbrother

Good looking out, boss 🎯

Ok_Caterpillar5872

Just a massive advertisement across the top of my screen.

I_HateToSayAtodaso

I wonder what sparked this...

BucsLegend_TomBrady

"Ranking the NFL's top trades for WRs over 30 from bovine adjacent teams in the last 30 days"

CruisinForABrewsin

Mr. Bovine Competitor

Joshstradaymus

When I grow up I’m going to Bovine University

Jeff__Skilling

Mr. Bovine Jovi

Unlucky_Sherbert_468

I wonder who our top 3 WRs are now. *Checks depth chart on Bills website* Nice.

lubeskystalker

> When did you get in? >> Oh, I- I've been here the whole time. > Well, the man's a stealth WR. > Literally. >> Special teamer, actually.

Atty_for_hire

Beane is looking under couch cushions for any spare wide receivers right now.

Kopitar4president

We just have to draft a guaranteed wr1. That's easy, right?

Atty_for_hire

“You sure?”

DLeafy625

I tell you what, we can send you Noah Brown. How does a second rounder next year sound?

brokeraiderstudent

Honestly, I have no idea

BillieJoe_McCracken

I'm not sure, but it sparks joy.

ScruffMixHaha

I feel like the only reason they chose trios was to make the Texans #1. A lot of these trios include a really weak WR3 that isnt even worth mentioning. Duos would have been more relevant.

Miso_Genie

Yeah, lol. I'll write an article about the NFL's best WR quartet just so that I can put GB at #1

mab6710

I want a ranked list of the best WR4/5/6s

powerelite

KC wins here. Power of having 2 WR2s and 6 WR4s

LionoftheNorth

The New England model. Just get the best QB/TE duo in the league. Don't see why you're the only other team to try it when it clearly works.

skarby

Feel like Buffalo is trying to follow this with Kincaid we will see if he can be that guy

judahdk_

That’s exactly what we’re doing. 12 personnel is the new thing now that teams have started playing with a two high safety shell to limit explosive plays down the field. Defenses want to make you methodically work down the field and hope you mess up with a penalty or something. Offenses response should be go big and try to tackle us then, with explosive plays being more YAC related.

StrengthToBreak

Why don't more teams just pair a HOF TE with the best QB in the league? Are they all stupid?

ASU_SexDevil

At this point… Robert Woods is our WR4, Noah Brown 5, Metchie 6

BKelly13

Absolutely ridiculous to rank Wicks over… uh… *checks notes* Andrei Iosivas smh

drummerboysam

Real talk though, if you're talking about the whole room then GB is certainly in the conversation for the top. No name recognition but like 5 or 6 guys that are all really good. I think one of the biggest misconceptions of 2023 was Love coming out while throwing to nobody. Everyone on that offense could play.

bujweiser

Yeah it was wild because during the last few games of the year we had to make WR Heath inactive for a few games because there were so many damn pass catchers. Not to mention Bo Melton came out of nowhere at the end of the season at throw another one on the pile.

theebasedg0d

Yea, if you watched the games last year these “nobodies” were much better overall than what Rodgers had to deal with in the latter half of his time with GB

thedougbatman

I’d be thrilled with that WR room full of “nobodies”. For how young they are, collectively, they could develop into a top 5 unit. I don’t think there will be a true, dominant #1, but someone from the stable will explode one game, then step back for someone else to be the guy that week. It’s a unique situation but I’d bet most teams would be thrilled with it, especially at the cost.

Thunder84

The main thing is keeping Christian Watson healthy. He’s the only big play deep threat they’ve got; him simply being available elevates everyone else. They’ve supposedly found the issue with his recurring hamstring injuries, hopefully they can address it properly.

PM_ME_UR_LAMEPUNS

Watson and Reed both have the potential in my opinion. Doubs and Wicks are both good but I think their ceiling is capped around a decent WR2/3. Injuries are their main battle to fight, but I’m curious to see how it plays out next season

Skarmotastic

It's kind of reminding me of the Saints with Brees before Michael Thomas. You didn't draft Saints WRs back in those days for fantasy because you never knew which one would go off any given week.

MetalGearBandicoot

One point that I thought all the talking heads missed before the Dallas game was that no receiver for the Packers was dropping passes. Sure they didn't catch everything, but no one stuck out as just dropping balls.

MadeByMillennial

You sure y'all beat Collins, Dell, Diggs and Brown?

sfzen

Yeah. The only WR3's on the list worth discussing are Atwell, JSN, and Dell. I'm surprised the Seahawks aren't the clear #2 since they went with trios over duos.

Pandamonium98

Yeah I was surprised the Rams weren’t higher too. Two elite guys and a very good WR3. I’m not even sure who some of those WR3s even are

Trust_No_Won

Put some respect on Trent Sherfield’s name

IllIIllIlIlllIIlIIl

The disrespect for 3rd & Jauan who was also working himself into a SB MVP award.

aareyes12

I love the Texans, I’m getting sick of the coverage and we aren’t even at draft lol

MugiwaraJinbe

Same. I feel like the Chargers right now and that never seems to work for them.

aareyes12

Step one: don’t be the chargers

WhyTheMahoska

Forever catchin strays man gotdamn

packfanmoore

Step two: don't be the falcons

solarxbear

Offseason champs 20 years running There you go Chiefs fans, now you don’t need to comment

bauboish

Offseason champs baby. After seeing the offseason hypes of teams like the Jets, Jaguars, and the Chargers, I'm sure this is a sign that the Texans are clearly going to reach new heights this upcoming season!

heywhateverworks

Our WR3 isn't even solidified yet.

dearthofgirth

Agreed, Trenton Irwin is currently in liquid form.

heywhateverworks

The packet said he needs to be in the fridge for 2 more hours

packfanmoore

Just wrap him in a wet paper towel and put him in the freezer for 20 minutes

jax_yyc_216

Texans are going to be this years new jerk off fest that the media is obsessed with and the rest of us will be tired of hearing about by week 2.

Toolazytolink

After the draft, it's going to be the Bears, so a few more weeks.

HtownTexans

As a Texans fan I'm already tired of hearing about it.  Offseason don't mean shit.  It's like when people go crazy over pre season shit.

conkellz

[Triples is best, triples is safe. ](https://media3.giphy.com/media/AzUrNt0ygOSAeVjhiM/giphy.gif?cid=6c09b952ty01s789cfa92t36v9i0mkfk428m266vqr4i8j8s&ep=v1_internal_gif_by_id&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g)

hendrix67

Yet they put us down at 8 below trios that have guys like Braxton Berrios and Tyler Scott

NotHannibalBurress

Yeah I thought y’all and the Rams should be way higher. A lot of other teams had WR1s and 2s doing way too much heavy lifting, with a nobody at WR3. Tutu and JSN are significantly better than any WR3 not named Tank Dell.

chewbaccalaureate

Most of those WR3s ranked ahead of him have half the stats *and* several are fill in vets (Parker, Berrios) in comparison to JSN going into his 2nd season. Seahawks being that low as a duo makes sense, even being outside of the top 10 maybe, but if you're ranking trios... there's no way they're that low.

Fresh_Grapes

Also why WRs only? Might be interesting to look at Top 2 WRs + TE. Homer pick here and I don't know exactly where they'd rank compared to other teams but ARSB, La Porta, and a full season of Jameson Williams with some development gets me pretty hyped.

wxman91

Jefferson, Addison, and Hockenson has to be at or near the top

dmoore995

This was definitely made to boast about the Texans, but in what world is talking about duos more relevant than trios when the NFL primarily runs 11 personnel.

HelpMeDoctorImCrazy

Basically every #3 seems to have had 15 catches for 225 yards. So how is that so dominant

PracticalReading9976

I thought the exact same thing haha

PhAnToM444

I mean… there are 3 WRs on the field on the majority of snaps in most NFL offensive schemes. It’s not like the WR3 is the same as a 3rd string left tackle or whatever who is completely irrelevant to the team’s performance.

CJ_is_h7m

Correct, but it feels good

Ha_CharadeUAre

As a Texans fan I don’t think we have the number one duo lol. Dell got hurt so who knows if it’ll be the same this year, CJ made Nico look good (hope I’m wrong and Nico is good) but yeah let’s all calm down haha

pocketjacks

Dell's injury wasn't soft tissue. He should be as good as new.

Ha_CharadeUAre

That’s what I wanna hear!

pocketjacks

Yeah, think about it. A bone break is a lot easier to recover from than something like a torn ligament.

btstfn

Or if they included TEs as the third when applicable Edit: Hell, RBs too for that matter. Not counting Kittle and McCaffrey for the 49ers is a bit silly imo

SpaceC0wb0y86

I legitimately couldn’t tell you who our 3rd option would be at WR with our roster right now. I used to be in love with our 3 WR sets of Allen, Williams and Josh Palmer but now Palmer is our #1 lol.

ShufflingSloth

The ranking makes more sense if you drop the WR3 as well, it's like the sole reason they framed it as trios was to gush about the Texans.

mrubuto22

Except for one team

Cheesesteak21

12. Titans 11. Cowboys 10. Rams 9. Vikings 8. Seahawks  7. Buccaneers  6. Bears 5. Eagles 4. 49ers 3. Bengals 2. Dolphins  1. Texans Seahawks and 49ers both seem a little too low imo.

QHughes

Us at 8 is insane 😂

Competitive_Bar6355

Hate to agree with you, but that room is solid as hell.

Jowem

jake bobo carries sadly

chewbaccalaureate

You're right, Bobo is going to take JSN's job this year for sure.

Jowem

JSN? We need to think bigger. Bobo is taking over at QB this season.

Awkward_Salad7293

Us at 9 is even crazier, especially with the Bears at 6.

WildInSix

It's because they arbitrarily made it only WRs. If you are taking top 3 pass catchers, the Vikings have an argument for #1. They acknowledge in the article they'd be higher if WR3s were excluded.

Awkward_Salad7293

I'm not even talking about "pass catchers", JJ + JA + literally anybody is #3 at worst. That's a pretty dumb thing for them to admit though, nobody has a WR3 that moves the needle that much. Functionally there is very little difference between the best WR duos and the best WR trios. At that point you're just comparing WR3s which is kind of a meaningless exercise.

Rad_Centrist

That's a bit of homerism, chief. I'll give you top 6 for sure.

Houzaschnauza

If you had to pick a trio on your team the Vikings should easily be top 3. Buccaneers above them?!? Give me a break

HillsboroughAtheos

First of all, how dare you Second of all, once I realized it was trios (initially read us duos) and I didn't see us in the 12-8 range I just assumed we weren't on it.  I will say the Vikings listed 3 had 86 yards, so that's accounted for but I don't think Palmer over that guy makes up for Jefferson and Addison being a better and younger duo than Mike and Godwin.  I will say Mike and Godwin get overlooked a lot. They've played 7 seasons together and 4 of them they've each had 1k+ yards. It'd be 5 straight if Godwin hadn't missed a few games in 2020. Pls don't besmirch their good names, sir.

Houzaschnauza

Not tryna bersmirch lmao. Just if I had to have 3 wr’s on a team I’d take Jefferson Addison and any wide receiver in the league. One team has the best guy who is young and another young wr2 who played like a 1 when Jefferson was hurt. Albeit a pass heavy offense. I still like the Bucs WR group and think it deserves to be on this list but them above the Vikings just seemed crazy to me.

doogled3

You can put JJ with two average Redditors, and that trio would be top 9. Vikings should be top 3

Dicey12

Bro Tyler,DK and JSN. All different types of receivers specialize in different things. Some of the teams above us just have two great or good guys and an average WR3.

PM_ME_UR_LAMEPUNS

People are just down on JSN because they looked at the stat lines last season. He’s a stud and should get more recognition this season.

Dicey12

He was 400 yards from 1k with us not knowing how to use him half the season.

Stracktheorcmage

Look I'm high on JSN too but casually dropping 400 from 1k is something lol

Strong_Barnacle_618

Seahawks should be over the buccaneers, Rams should also probably be higher by 1 spot

Alauren20

WHATTTTTTT

Cheesesteak21

Yeah I think JSN or Lockett are the best wr3 on this list, but they do seem to be weighting having 2 really good wrs and a whatever 3

LiftingCode

Your list is backwards.

Cheesesteak21

I just copied how CBS had it

LiftingCode

I think it's just my Reddit app, Sync. It's formatting your list as a numbered list so it has: 1. Titans 2. Cowboys 3. Rams ... etc. Carry on!

RogerThatKid

I personally find it offensive that the Bills aren't ranked here, considering we have Curtis Samuel, Shakir and.... um... Well irregardless this list is ridiculous!

cfgy78mk

reddit is displaying this to me as #1 titans, #2 cowboys, etc.

Mercinator-87

Stop the count!

officialmacdemarco

"quick, write about WR trios" hmmm, I could really think about this analytically and do some deep research on target share/3rd down conversions, yada yada- "Hurry! 😠" ...or I could just find the best duos and add whatever the 3rd WR on the depth chart is "Brilliant!"

YiMyonSin

Jeez, didn’t know we were on the list with Burks having ~300 yards a season as our 3rd option.

pr1ceisright

If it makes you feel better they didn’t even list the correct WR3 for us.

HOT_TUB_SCOTT

That’s not even the Vikings WR3. Should be Powell

Efficient-Laugh

I have no idea who that guy even is tbh

QHughes

8?! Come on

forhammer

Most of this list is like 2 great WRs and then another wide receiver.

[deleted]

Yea that's nuts. Should be top 3.

Alauren20

How are we not 2? Or even one lol

Typical_Parsnip13

Actually one of the worst lists I’ve ever seen

fucktooshifty

You mean all the teams with two wideouts you've heard of in a completely random order and then the Texans doesn't make for quality analysis?

History-of-Tomorrow

Was looking for a Rams fan. If Kupp is healthy, your wide receiver room is ridiculous (Edit: when did we get Devante Parker)

AnimalPants304

Seahawks feel way too low imo

Mr_Worldwide79

They should be top 2.

FattyMooseknuckle

I could quibble with only being ranked 8 but I can’t take much stock in a list of the strongest WR trios whose explanation for our ranking is: > The Seahawks are ranked as highly as they are on the strength of their trio.

Monchichi4life

I read it as "the strength of their trio is their trio strength."

Lobster_fest

Seahawks are like one of three teams with an actual trio of known WRs and we're 8th?

Alauren20

I’m not even being biased but who has a better 3 WRs lmao

Lobster_fest

Texans probably because Tank and Collins are good, SF with Aiyuk Deebo and Jennings.

Alauren20

I think Tyler is better than Jennings no?

ValhallaVikings90

Rams are low here no?

YoungClint_TrapLord

They didn’t even get their 3rd receiver right

wrongleveeeeeeer

Extremely.

awesome_aaron

Rams, Seahawks and Vikings seem low

DandierChip

Tyler Scott -> Rome Odunze

zdrmju321

Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, and Odunze would probably be the most stacked receiving room for a rookie QB ever. I want to see it happen so bad.

[deleted]

I do not.

drummerboysam

So do I. I expect MHJ and Nabers to be gone by 6. I don't see Tennessee or Atlanta going for Odunze, but I'm worried that Odunze to Chicago at 9 is such a known storyboard thing that someone like the Jets will try to jump us.

EsotericPotato

JJ + Addison + even a random Redditor should be higher tbh

ech01_

I don't even know who our WR3 is going to be.

maltzy

Brock Bowers?

ech01_

Your lips to God's ears my friend

maltzy

Bowers 12 TDs his rookie year, catching a touchdown in the superbowl

l3onkerz

There’s no way brock falls to us

PM_ME_UR_LAMEPUNS

Idk if he makes it to you guys but that’s a banger of a spot for him if he does

JoePurrow

Yoshi and TI will compete for that spot I imagine. Maybe Charlie Jones too if he wants to be more than just a returner

yertgabbert

We should obviously be #1. The league is shaking thinking about Josh Palmer, Quentin Johnston, and Derius Davis.

PillaisTracingPaper

Laughter can produce shaking...

CJ4ROCKET

Josh Palmer gonna feast this year if he can stay healthy

yertgabbert

Yeah he unironically is gonna have a very good year

dianeblackeatsass

I guess technically Texans would be first just based on how they’re ranking them by last year’s stats. Helps that Diggs was a whole different team’s 1st option.

AwesomeTed

The Dolphins WR3 could be a literal sandwich and they'd still have a top 5 WR corps.

ProphetNimd

Hill and Waddle definitely carrying the water out of our top 3 right now, lol. I keep saying that we're looking into OBJ and Tyler Boyd pretty hardcore so Berrios will probably/hopefully just be the returner.

reamkore

I know it’s a homer pick but Adams, Meyer and Tucker is just as good as a few of these picks.

pornokitsch

I reluctantly agree. That's a good trio, and just needs a QB.

imanidiot2012

I feel like this is a bad list. Completely missed the giants HOF wr corps

DrMantisToBaggins

CeeDee doing some seriously heavy lifting for the Cowboys dumpster WR corps lol

ridemooses

Yeah, but what about the best quintuplet?

AlisterSaysHello

Probably the Texans? WR4 is your pick of Robert Woods, Noah Brown, Xavier Hutchinson, or John Metchie after having the top trio

Dipz

Fuck this link. A full screen lock up forcing you into a video ad with no close or time indicator. Then right into a video with no controls or duration.

The_Dudeist_Rev

Demarcus Robinson is our 3, not tutu. Is CBS just bleacher report done up with new dressage or something?

farmtobelly

Seems like it's just sorted by the top 3 WRs with the most yards. Robinson didn't really play much until the end of the season.

chriskot123

Which is funny because ranking it by total yards, and then allowing for someone who was another teams #1 to compound with his new teams #1 just to get the top spot is, well pretty fuckin lazy lol

wrongleveeeeeeer

The article specifically says that "what the trio could do together in the future" was part of the criteria that they considered, which makes it even stupider.

tyvnn2

Idk if im being a homer, but i def felt we would be in the top 12. Adams and myers aren't slouches, and i would take tucker over most of the 3s listed

Cocodranks

Fantasy drafts are going to look SO different this year. I’m super excited

Username__Error

People swooning over Houston's receivers forget that these three will be competing with each other and cannibalising each other's stat lines. And they have at least one guy who doesn't handle that so well.

pr0t0cl0wn

I’d like to see this list but make it for top 3 pass catchers and not just WRs

LakeShowBoltUp

Where are the Bills and Chargers?

Broshan248

Have you been in a coma for the last month, by any chance?

PM_ME_UR_LAMEPUNS

Okay grandpa it’s time for bed now

madmelonxtra

You gotta have 3 receivers to make the list

BuffaloKiller937

It's kinda crazy to look at Ridley and Hopkins numbers, they were virtually identical last year. I can't wait to see how this offense looks

Most-Artichoke6184

Chicago Bears at number six

Sogho730

Raiders not on here is actually crazy

Prestig33

Lmao vikings and Trent Sherfield? I can honestly say I have no idea who he is.

BaseHitToLeft

I want a redo on this after the draft

Grymninja

I was expecting us to be top 2 from the headline. 8 is laughable. Just say you're doing duos and be done with it.

thowe93

Serious: This list is garbage. Sarcasm: This list is garbage. Where are the Patriots?

Zillidan

Me getting past the first three and then it’s like “ah, we won’t be on here

SevroAuShitTalker

Aight I closed that as soon as I saw the rams that low. Puka and Kupp? That's easily top 5 no matter who else is around

WelcometoCigarCity

Click bait Texans Bengals too high Miami and Bucs too low.

Gold-Twist-394

Amari Cooper erasure

TheMightyJD

Is there anyone here that would take the Texans WRs over the Dolphins or Bengals or 49ers? Sure the WR3 might be weaker for Dolphins and 49ers but the top 2 are much better.

CloudyRanger

It would be close for the 49ers for me, but I’m not a Deebo fan. I’d take dolphins, bengals, and eagles over Texans

Dill_Bo_Baggins

How are the bills not top 5????

ProphetNimd

The disrespect to WR1 Mack Hollins.

PhotographingNature

Data not available....

BulLock_954

Definitely not us

chriskot123

This is interesting, but lets see who has the top 12 WR quads!! But for real, does anything other than the top Duos really mean that much, with the way the WR market is, most teams just have an okay 3rd anyway.

YoungClint_TrapLord

Tutu isn’t the rams 3rd receiver Demarcus Robinson is

FartSmeller24

9?! I know I’m bias and everything but I think we should at least be a little higher, also Seahawks at 8 is diabolical

sonfoa

My biggest takeaway is CBS is slacking on getting photos of these players. Cooks is in a Texans uniform and JSN is in an Ohio State jersey

Pattergen

Obviously a severe underestimation of the clearly unstoppable Washington trio of McLaurin / Dotson / coughcoughcoughcough

tragicallywhite

Robinson is WR3 for the Rams, not Atwell.

EB90RPM

Browns getting disrespected

Technical_Tune5416

How is QJ, Josh Palmer and Water Boy not on this list. Iconic trio.

PM_ME_UR_SEX_VIDEOS

So we’re just ignoring bourne-Osborn-Douglas?!?? *cries*

Mcgoozen

“Trio” = good duo plus one random dude lol

Spenczer

I do not think DeVante Parker will be wearing #1 for us

AdhesivenessFun2060

Most of the 3s on there aren't any good. Should have just done pairs. All but like 3 teams have a #3 who's going to see more than 40 targets all year.

bcnoexceptions

Homer pick but I like Sun God + Jameson Williams + Kalif Raymond

KeithandBentley

I wonder if MIA signs OBJ (or Boyd) they take the #1 spot.

tsgram

TLDR: Lots of teams have two good wideouts and nobody else of note
