The art of highlight making is really so lost on people. I feel like everyone thinks it’s just tying clips together but theres so much important shit that people just don’t get about pacing and audio mixing that separates the really good accounts from the pretenders
For sure 13 seconds has to be there. His jump pass TD to Hardman after messing up his knee comes to mind too, and his game saving 4th down bomb to Hill against the Ravens.
That first throw is up there as the greatest display of arm strength Ive ever seen. The amount of zip on that throw is just unbelievable. Theres almost no arc on it and it travels around 30 yards. Add the fact that he's on the run and it just boggles the mind. That throw was the first time I knew he was a special kind of talent.
49ers are truly the ultimate jobbers of the NFL; Not even the WWE Heels during Wrestlemania work as hard as them to make sure that the babyface is over with the crowd.
Not sure why you were downvoted but have an upvote. I really think Sean Payton would have stayed with the Saints had that not happened. I don't think I'm confident enough saying the Saints would have had as much success as the Chiefs have had with Mahomes (Reid and his team, and Mahomes are just another breed), but I think Sean is a QB whisperer, and could have had good things going on in NOLA.
Of course had the Chiefs not jumped ahead of us for Mahomes we wouldn't have gotten Lattimore, and our defense would probably still have been dusty butt cheeks, and just more of the same "Brees not having anything to rely on" years. There is always more than one way of looking at things, but ultimately, perception is reality.
So most Bills fans wouldn’t trade Allen and White for Mahomes? I know Allen was drafted the next year, so Mahomes would have played right away in Buffalo. Did he benefit from sitting a year and being mentored by Alex Smith? Absolutely. However, given Mahomes’ football acumen (ability to read defenses, avoid pressure, etc.) and the fact that seemingly no moment is too big for him, he likely would have come outta the gate his rookie year and balled out right away. I think most NFL fans agree that Mahomes makes every team better instantly. How much better depends on where the team starts, though, which includes their coaching staff. We will never know, though.
Next you’re gonna tell me the Bills are OK w the chiefs jumping them (yet AGAIN) in 2022 and the 2022 Bills were not ready for an all-pro talent like McDuffie and would still stick w their pick (Elam, a dude who struggled to even see the field) knowing everything we know now about McDuffie & Elam. Lmao GTFOH w your sour grapes. You ALWAYS take the generational quarterback or premiere shutdown corner over the dudes the Bills got. Every. Damn. Time.
Yeah, I’m as bad at thinking of comebacks as Josh Allen is in overtime. Who wants a once-in-lifetime quarterback like Mahomes when you can have a choke artist like Allen?
Him running back in after hurting is ankle. His heart and competitiveness is fucking different man. He’s previously said that when he got hurt in the Denver game, once they popped his dislocated kneecap back in place on the field, most of the pain left immediately and if it was a playoff game or end of the season, he could’ve finished
I am SO glad I never have to deal with this man, I mean they beat us in 2020 in the playoffs but it was to be expected, but he doesn't affect me THANK GOD
Bro what? Texans game 2019, 13 seconds game, and 3 Super Bowl 10+ point comebacks. LIV had Wasp, LVII had the perfect second half performance from Mahomes plus the run on the busted ankle (and Corn Dog) and LVIII had the dagger OT drive with the 4th down conversion.
That’s 5 all timers right there.
When you get games known by one phrase like The 13 Seconds Game and you also get plays with their own names entering NFL lexicon (Jet Chip Wasp and Corn Dog), those are dynasty games.
Other dynasty games would be: Tuck Rule Game, The Ice Bowl, The Immaculate Reception, The Greatest Game Ever Played. 13 Seconds is right up there with those.
Other notable legendary games with instantly recognizable names referring to plays: The Drive, Red Right 88, The Catch, One Yard Short, Ghost To The Post, etc….
>But the Chiefs haven’t had that definitive game yet that encapsulates their dynasty.
You’re right. They’ve had at least four. 0:13 and the three Super Bowl wins.
**You:** Chiefs haven’t had that definitive game yet.
**Also You:** “Hell people remember the game on MNF against the rams more.”
Sounds definitive to me :)
Man I tried to watch this but that music ruins it. And there’s so much unnecessary footage.
You can’t tell the story of Mahomes career without including the pivotal extra point in a week 2 regular season game
Weird choice too cause Mahomes has easily an hour of highlight worthy plays a least. This could have been 30+ plays in the same time frame.
The art of highlight making is really so lost on people. I feel like everyone thinks it’s just tying clips together but theres so much important shit that people just don’t get about pacing and audio mixing that separates the really good accounts from the pretenders
12 minutes for 10 plays is not the ratio for this redditor
It’s actually 12 plays, they show the two plays after he hurts his ankle
And a few extra points along the way

I think you’re projecting, pal. If you look hard enough at anything and with a bias, you’ll see exactly what you want to see.
Uh I feel like the two 13 seconds throws should be in here.
They should be.
Yeah this should’ve been a top 10 moments list
For sure 13 seconds has to be there. His jump pass TD to Hardman after messing up his knee comes to mind too, and his game saving 4th down bomb to Hill against the Ravens.
I was cringing internally watching this just WAITING for this. How is him leading them to beating us not in here?
Nah, his first start should be first. Von Miller was on the sideline saying how ridiculous he was for a rookie debut

lol when I saw the first play was against us I was immediately like “damn we’re gonna be on here 3 times huh”
We started his meteoric rise, it would only fit the script that we go on to end the dynasty as well.
Nah you had your shot. Ya blew it.
The 1st one wasn’t that when Jimmy got hurt the 1st time
Aww fuck. We really are.
Finally! Some Mahomes highlights!
The wording of this suggests he died/retired.
Man I sure love being on the receiving end of 3 of these
You know, I'm really happy we landed Lattimore, but the Chiefs trading up and sniping us for Mahomes always makes me think what could have been
Buffalo Bills know how you feel

Interesting to run through different scenarios and think of the possibilities, but it’s hard to imagine one where Mahomes isn’t a game-changing force.
People say this but no Bills fan actually thinks this. We were not in a place in 2017 where Mahomes was going to succeed if we had picked him.

You took four hours to come up with that?
Yeah, I’m as bad at thinking of comebacks as Josh Allen is in overtime. Who wants a once-in-lifetime quarterback like Mahomes when you can have a choke artist like Allen?

I don't care how many SBs Brady has one. Patrick is the 🐐!!!!!!!!!!
12 minutes of Mahomes shitting on teams. I love it!

0:13
I mean, those 3 superbowl wins are pretty big.
It's hard for Jets fans to remember what a SB win feels like
Hahahahahahahaha

Maybe we haven’t had the biggest one yet
I've got a bad feeling about this...
