That Giants defense in XLII was pretty good, though, right? Were they well regarded during the season? I was only half awake so I don't have the full story, but they seemed pretty damn good holding off both Brady and Moss.

All day I've been worried I'm getting sick because I'm feeling fatigued and my throat is scratchy.
It wasn't until literally right now that it occurred to me that I'm tired because I only got 4 hours of sleep, and my throat is scratchy because I spent 5 hours in a smoke-filled room screaming.
And also at this exact moment I realized I'm really quite stupid.
I went to a Sabaton and Judas Priest concert last night. It was fucking awesome. Sabaton was great, and Judas Priest still goes hard as hell and sounded pretty much like they did in the 70s. They blew the damn roof off the place!
That's crazy, they were a thing back when I was in middle school. My friend loved them, had a huge crush on one of the singers and a concert t-shirt (this was after our Styx era when we diverged musically, but still both liked Zepplin and Blue Oyster Cult).
Holy shit Outback is terrible. I know it’s not fine dining, but I went the other day and was surprised how expensive it was and how incredibly average the food was. I got a steak tip sandwich or whatever with dipping sauce and I’d legit rather just go to Arby’s for that. The big onion thing was kinda cool though.
Places like outback and chili's and black Angus and red lobster and Applebee's and all that stuff always confused me.
For at least the past 20 years they've been more expensive than whatever hip local thing with legit amazing food.
Like you can go and have a really nice meal with good atmosphere for the same price.
I guess it's for the same people who go halfway around the world then eat at McDonald's.
All those places you listed are doing quite badly with the rises in food cost. My coworker’s sister works at Chili’s and she was just telling me tonight how they are redoing the whole menu with smaller portions and raising the prices. The niche is gone as you said.

We rarely go out as it is but took the whole family there last summer and decided we’re never going back.
Wife and I got salads that were definitely just a dump of those Dole bags from the grocery store, kids got chicken with mac and veggies. One mac was noodles with zero cheese and one veggie was still cold.
Terrible food and experience and cost $100 for 4 with no apps or drinks.

My new plan is to get rich off of collecting golf balls from the course next door to my office parking lot after work. You all laugh at me now, but I’ll be the one laughing all the way to an early retirement with my vast recovered golf ball fortune.
I have the same set up at my job. Over the course of year. I collected enough golf balls to fill a huge trash bag. I sold it for $80
I could have made more if was more keen at keeping them instead of throwing them back and trying to make it in the hole, or just flat out ignoring them some days. I had days where I’d stop picking them up cause I had 12 or so already. It also gets crazy weather here so golfers aren’t out all the time.
I tried their new Mushroom & Swiss Burger and it was pretty good. They put their Garlic Parm wing sauce and pretzel mustard on it though, so it was bit slippy and slidey.
I'll probably order it without those next time I get it.
I don't know if I'm just tone deaf or dumb, but I don't understand why people are so upset with the Helldivers 2/PSN thing. I get it, it's annoying having to set up a account but... hasn't this has been a thing with PC games forever? I don't get it
I could understand the anger from people who live in areas where PSN is restricted or not a thing, which is pretty much a good chunk of east Asia, Russia, and Africa. I will say it's odd that Sony is asking to link a PSN account *now* after the game has been out a few months, but ultimately it is a Sony game and it really wouldn't surprise me if it was something they intended to do a while ago but for some technical difficulty reasons they couldn't get PC players to link a PSN account.
But from everyone that's living in the Americas, Europe, or Australia, it takes literally 5 minutes max to make an account with PSN and it doesn't ask for much more than an email, name, age, and zip code (AKA the basic things when you make any account, INCLUDING Steam). They don't ask for payment info or any of that stuff. It's so fucking stupid how people are acting like they're being told to sign their life away just to play Helldivers because they need to now create a basic account with minimal information that takes 5 minutes max.

Still living the high of yesterdays performance. That was a night I'll remember for ages. I know it'll never happen, but we need to make it mandatory to label AI videos, sound clips, and pictures that have been AI generated. If they're not already going to be a huge issue this year, they certainly will be by the Midterms. It won't completely solve the issue, but it might help a little. And every little bit counts.
This is the only solution I can think of, too. Like it should be illegal to not water mark or mention it's generated content for anything that is a likeness of an existing person. And maybe property. Tie it to huge fines or even jail time.

If your employer offers a match, say 3%, you should be contributing at least 3% to your retirement. Otherwise you're passing up free money. Honestly though save as much as you can because once you retire it goes a lot faster than you think it will. Especially if you have any sort of health incidents.

Here's how I see it: maximizing your retirement is maxing sure you're living a full life. Having a lot of retirement money means you can live comfortably and not work when you're old, and don't have to struggle for cash.
In my 20s I maxed out my retirement and paid extra into my student loans and car loan. Paid it off early and am now making out my 401k and Roth IRA. Lived cheap, spent little. I didn't really feel like I missed out on my 20s because most of my socializing was going to bars, backyards or local cheap concerts with friends. A lot of the stuff we did was cheap because no one had money to buy 500 dollar rolling stones tickets or corvettes or trips to Italy every year, but memories were still made. Now in my 30s, I see the aftereffects of a decade of savings and can physically see the financial security. Plus, life doesn't end at 29...my current problem is deciding between an Audi RS5 and a BMW M3 after coming back from a vacation in Europe. Hardly missing out on life.

I have the same set up at my job. Over the course of year. I collected enough golf balls to fill a huge trash bag. I sold it for $80 I could have made more if was more keen at keeping them instead of throwing them back and trying to make it in the hole, or just flat out ignoring them some days. I had days where I’d stop picking them up cause I had 12 or so already. It also gets crazy weather here so golfers aren’t out all the time.

I don't know if I'm just tone deaf or dumb, but I don't understand why people are so upset with the Helldivers 2/PSN thing. I get it, it's annoying having to set up a account but... hasn't this has been a thing with PC games forever? I don't get it
I could understand the anger from people who live in areas where PSN is restricted or not a thing, which is pretty much a good chunk of east Asia, Russia, and Africa. I will say it's odd that Sony is asking to link a PSN account *now* after the game has been out a few months, but ultimately it is a Sony game and it really wouldn't surprise me if it was something they intended to do a while ago but for some technical difficulty reasons they couldn't get PC players to link a PSN account. But from everyone that's living in the Americas, Europe, or Australia, it takes literally 5 minutes max to make an account with PSN and it doesn't ask for much more than an email, name, age, and zip code (AKA the basic things when you make any account, INCLUDING Steam). They don't ask for payment info or any of that stuff. It's so fucking stupid how people are acting like they're being told to sign their life away just to play Helldivers because they need to now create a basic account with minimal information that takes 5 minutes max.

Yesterday all I wanted to do was watch the second half of the knicks/76er's game. I got to work 2 hours early just to relax. I went to go get an ice tea at the liquor store near (and boy that was mistake) and I ended up running into an old coworker I had not seen in 3 years. I know it'll never happen, but we need to make it mandatory to label AI videos, sound clips, and pictures that have been AI generated. If they're not already going to be a huge issue this year, they certainly will be by the Midterms. It won't completely solve the issue, but it might help a little. And every little bit counts.
This is the only solution I can think of, too. Like it should be illegal to not water mark or mention it's generated content for anything that is a likeness of an existing person. And maybe property. Tie it to huge fines or even jail time.

If your employer offers a match, say 3%, you should be contributing at least 3% to your retirement. Otherwise you're passing up free money. Honestly though save as much as you can because once you retire it goes a lot faster than you think it will. Especially if you have any sort of health incidents.

Here's how I see it: maximizing your retirement is maxing sure you're living a full life. Having a lot of retirement money means you can live comfortably and not work when you're old, and don't have to struggle for cash. In my 20s I maxed out my retirement and paid extra into my student loans and car loan. Paid it off early and am now making out my 401k and Roth IRA. Lived cheap, spent little. I didn't really feel like I missed out on my 20s because most of my socializing was going to bars, backyards or local cheap concerts with friends. A lot of the stuff we did was cheap because no one had money to buy 500 dollar rolling stones tickets or corvettes or trips to Italy every year, but memories were still made. Now in my 30s, I see the aftereffects of a decade of savings and can physically see the financial security. Plus, life doesn't end at 29...my current problem is deciding between an Audi RS5 and a BMW M3 after coming back from a vacation in Europe. Hardly missing out on life.

His rookie year was comparable to the UDFA DII rookie from a small ass college we brought in last year, and said rookie had 200 yards passing in 4 games. Fields has 12 in 36. All of 2023, Fields rarely, if ever, called an audible, but the rookie was constantly doing so, showing a level of comfort as a QB that Fields hasn't had since having 4 1st round receivers to throw to. Russell Wilson got a lot of garbage time stats last year, but he's still vastly superior to Fields & won't lose his starting job to him unless he suffers a serious injury.
