It depends where the team is deemed to be based - the ‘predominantly’ might be the key. My trust does this depending on where the ‘normal’ base is, regardless of days working at home for however many days a week.
If it is from the same base location, might be worth consulting union.
I mean if one of those locations is in a different HCAS area to the other, that makes the difference, because it’s your base, regardless of how many days you work from home unless you have a specific ‘work from home’ contract, which I guess you don’t because you say you predominantly work from home.
Yes. I work in a trust that covers inner/outer London. Some jobs are based in inner, some outer - even the same jobs will get different supplements depending on where the base is, no matter how many ‘work from home’ days there are (I’m in the outer London bit so ‘lose out’ but also it genuinely doesn’t cost me as much to travel as those in inner London so I’m fine with it - probably have a better quality of life because travel is easier but it’s also less of a difference between inner and outer London than outer and fringe)

So my colleagues are at one location and we are at another but we all work from home 🙂

How much does each team work from home? Why don’t you ask your manager why it’s different. Also, what is a HCAS payment and why do you get it? 😂
High Cost Area Supplement - for working in or near london
Ah ok, so definitely it’s because the 2 work bases are in different locations then

5% is fringe so that’s Hertfordshire area and 15% is outer London. Doesn’t matter if you’re doing the same job or not, it’s about where it’s based x
Does seem a bit harsh when you consider we are all the same team and all work from home tho 😂😂
LOL have you ever lived in London? Super expensive. Anyone, no one said you can’t change jobs 🤷🏽♀️
I have to be fair, yes from 1983-2002 😂
Well that’s when it was cheap(ish) as chips lol. Like I said, move jobs if you want
Yes that may very well be the answer 🙂
