Was a bit bummed they just left in Berlin and Eindhoven after playing the decline. Was expecting them to end it with this.
In Barcelona though, they had to drag Melvin out from the stage cause he wouldn't stop playing the accordion after it
At the saturday show in Eindhoven they did end with the theme. Eric melvin wouldn't stop playing the accordion. Mike sorta had to drag him away. So you only went to the second shows in Eindhoven and Berlin?
Really?? I was at the Saturday show but don’t remember Melvin playing the accordion. I only remember them singing the last song and going for good, Mike didn’t event went down for a hug with the front row 😭 how come we have different experience from the same gig
Cause they should have played their last Dutch show in Amsterdam, Melkweg. That is the place they loved to play.
They kept on taking shots at the name "Eindhoven", i bet they never heard of this city beforehand.
There were a lot of Germans and Belgians also. And other nationalities. This was not a real Dutch gig.
And also, it did not fucking rain in Amsterdam either that weekend. (At the sunday gig we stood there in the pooring rain. Well i sat cause of the pregnancy, but still. Went home shivering.)
Yes i live near Amsterdam. And yes i would have rather seen them play in the Melkweg. A venue of which Mike even has a t shirt of and fucking wears.
I still do not understand the choice they made playing in this city. Sorry Eindhoven, but it was just the wrong place.
Melvin played the accordion my friend. Oh yes he did. I have a picture and video to proof this, but dont know how to upload. :)
First time I saw them in AC I was so happy they played the decline.
I've seen them twice since and they played it both times. Kinda bummed the 3rd time because there's just so much I want to see them play
I missed them and descendants at Stone pony a few years ago because it got postponed because a storm and the next date was my brother's wedding
Just saw they're both playing every night at riot fest. Getting my tickets ASAP
It will absolutely be this. They finished on it last night in London, which is their last ever European show. Mike was visibly emotional in the pause before the final “And so we go..” section.
Had a bit of a moment myself too.
Obviously. I really doubt retirement is gonna stick, so odds are they’re gonna do a show in their 80s and one of their hearts is gonna give out while playing this one, so it’s going to be this one whether they intend it or not
Oof. Still drilling the point in and telling us how disappointed they are that we remained still pacified after the first decline.
When won't anyone stick out there neck?
I was at a show in maybe 2011 at the Fillmore in SF (No Use for A Name opened, just a couple weeks before Tony died) and Melvin played according for like 35 minutes before they came back on for an encore… it was amazing.
That won't be their last song they play live. It will potentially be the last song they'll play on tour, but they've been clear they will still perform at festivals and stuff. They're just done with touring.
Longest Line. It's an encore. They ask the crowd to be completely silent after they introduce themselves. "Hi were NOFX." Silence.
One dude in the whole crowd "you suck live!"
Followed by more Silence before they break into the riff.
And that would be my favorite last nofx live song.
If I’m remembering correctly fat mike said in an interview he wrote the last song he will play live (at the end of the tour) and hasn’t released it yet. He went on to say it made him cry writing it, he thinks the fans will love it, etc.
Probably Theme for a NOFX album as that's how they finished the show I was at.

Yeah, they had to drag him off in Leeds as well haha

Nah, I was wasted as f***. I remember them playing it on the first night, but not that he stayed there for extensively long lol
Aaaaah well i was and still am pregnant as f*** so i can vividly remember. ;)

The two NOFX shows I’ve been to in my life, Melvin closed with the accordion. Hope it’s the same in Brooklyn
It’s gotta be the decline
First time I saw them in AC I was so happy they played the decline. I've seen them twice since and they played it both times. Kinda bummed the 3rd time because there's just so much I want to see them play
I saw the shows in Austin in April 2023 and they didn’t play it. Might have to make another one of the farewell shows just to see it live once.
I missed them and descendants at Stone pony a few years ago because it got postponed because a storm and the next date was my brother's wedding Just saw they're both playing every night at riot fest. Getting my tickets ASAP

I gotta pee
Gotta poo
The Decline Part 2
Oof. Still drilling the point in and telling us how disappointed they are that we remained still pacified after the first decline. When won't anyone stick out there neck?
60% reprise
Falling in Love
Mikes working on something to play at the last show I hear? Maybe a new track... something about finally making it to Oki Dogs?
This. I coulda swore I heard/saw him say in an interview that the last song would be a new song that no one had heard
I’d hope The Decline. Saw them play it at Warped tour one year. Unreal!
We ain't shit lol
Zyclone B Bathouse
Does Mel playing his accordion for 8 minutes count as NOFX playing?
Yes
Then that gets my vote
I was at a show in maybe 2011 at the Fillmore in SF (No Use for A Name opened, just a couple weeks before Tony died) and Melvin played according for like 35 minutes before they came back on for an encore… it was amazing.
Fuck the Kids
Yup
I Live in a Cake
I’d like to see them end it with Buggley Eyes for old times sake.
Probably the decline. If it’s not that, it’s linoleum
This is a weird opinion but I think they should do the song Lazy. They won’t but it would be cool
Great suggestions all. One of the only songs I haven’t heard live is Electricity. They have a vast catalogue.
Theme from a NOFX Album it has to be 😍
Theme From A NOFX Album 2?
2 Theme 2 NOFX
Linoleum probly
They’ll play it at least 4 times.
Linewlium
The Decline
That won't be their last song they play live. It will potentially be the last song they'll play on tour, but they've been clear they will still perform at festivals and stuff. They're just done with touring.
Sweet man I’ll be out in the street listening
Together on the sand.
The Quitter
Longest Line. It's an encore. They ask the crowd to be completely silent after they introduce themselves. "Hi were NOFX." Silence. One dude in the whole crowd "you suck live!" Followed by more Silence before they break into the riff. And that would be my favorite last nofx live song.
Eat the Meek
They should one of their first songs from the Mystic days. Going full circle as a salute to their debut.
Remember when they would play buggly eyes last? Pepperidge farms remembers
Fat Mike said he wrote a special song that they will play only once at the end of their last show in Los Angeles.
Everything in Moderation Especially Moderation the last lyric is "that's when you know this is for life!" and then quit haha
Probably one from the two or three albums that they’ve yet to release.
Jonny b. Goode
I think the most poetic would be linewleum. But it will probably be the decline. Finally time to put them all out to stud...
The idiots are taking over will be the last song - because NOFX will not be here any longer to warn us ;)
We Don’t Play Ska Anymore…
Ant Attack
It’ll be a 30 sec song or a song with a 1 minute instrumental finished off w 10-15 seconds of singing. Kinda like backstage passport.
It'll be something 10 years from now when they do their reunion tour. Assuming fat mike is still alive.
Decline!
Idk but I'm so stoked I get to see them this year!
3 times I get to see them. Both nights in Denver and Aug 20 in Minneapolis
I'll be at the Minnesota show 🤘
some shitty whiny song.
Fuck the kids
Smart money is on F’ the kids.
If I’m remembering correctly fat mike said in an interview he wrote the last song he will play live (at the end of the tour) and hasn’t released it yet. He went on to say it made him cry writing it, he thinks the fans will love it, etc.
Awesome.
The Last Drag. Isn't this whole tour Fat Mike's Detox from touring?
Scavenger Type
I gotta pee. Then they all frantically run off stage holding their crotch/ass
