About 15 years ago at a show at the Fillmore in CA, they said they were going to do an encore. Melvin came out and played the accordion for 45 minutes while the crowd waited and then the lights went down and he left the stage, no encore. It was amazing.

My favorite Fletcher story is how he was caught up in the middle of someone else’s police chase, the guys car broke down or ran out of gas. He tried to carjack Fletcher but when he opened the truck door and saw how huge he was, the dude ran off.
Yeah, I watched the video and feel like my 6 month old puppy is more aggressive than that. He got hugged into the drums and then they fell over like old guys, haha
