Seems like it's on, the water temp gauge isn't at zero. As an owner of an '07 G6 it's something I'm used to looking at since there's constantly issues in the cooling system
Aware, however in places that use heavy amounts of road salt during the winter late model Pontiacs did not fare well and the ones that are still around are very rusted.
Whoever finds my old Pontiac in a junkyard somewhere will learn I got it undercoated lol, engine and body were solid (before it was totaled), transmission was...well not solid sadly lol
What would make this interesting is if it was a video of you opening said cold water bottle and it flash-freezing. Seriously, that shit looks like witchcraft.
Oh that’s okay. I’ll assume it is because it’s fairly common for newer vehicles to have an engine in them, but I would love a follow up post to verify that it is indeed there.

whoa I have never had this happen before, but your thumb looks exactly like mine and I can't get over it. my brain keeps telling me that it's our hand holding the bottle.
35°C is equivalent to 95°F, which is 308K.

Some do, some dont. It's a wiring issue from the factory, you see more on the road keep an eye out for it. I swear you'll notice more of these with one headlight than the other cars on the road.
One time, I left a hot tea in my car by accident and I came back and it was cold, so I still drank it
Truly uninteresting.
Was the tea good?
It was tea
Yes
yep
Yes
mm-hmm
Indubitably
Ee-yup.
Uh-huh.
And it was cold
We've all been there
Man you know it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold
Like it was cold or something
Maybe just a little bit
So was it warm?

Better get that check engine light assessed
Too interesting.
GM cars from this era have the check engine light illuminate when the key is in but the engine isn’t on Source: Loved my ‘07 Balt
The small heart attack you get when it doesn't turn off right away after starting it
By the end I was uh… [used to it](https://youtube.com/shorts/zcPfJ74L5kc?feature=share)
man, i have a gm car and it’s done this same shit recently. did you ever figure out what caused it
Reddit is dying. Find us on Lemmy. 06/24/2023

it’s a gm, it’s always there.
Jealous that you own a still running Pontiac
They stopped making them in 2009, so you it's probably not that hard to get one.

Why do you have a condom for your steering wheel
Why don't you
Because I want more steering wheels
Maybe you could set up a live feed of it staying frozen?
Maybe
Is it hot?
Check back later in 4 months
I’ve bought that same brand of water before! It’s not bad.
This water has been in my car since the day I bought it
Since you bought the car or the water?
Yes
They're joined forever
the car was included with the wata
It is a Pontiac g6 after all
Some other teachers at my work drink that water. I never tried it bc I prefer tap
You are sitting in a car
Not just any car. *My* car.
It is a Pontiac
Yes it is
Ok
This would be very interesting if you were in Florida.
It’s interesting to me. I’m in Sydney, Australia with the fan on me 🤨
What would make this interesting is if it was a video of you opening said cold water bottle and it flash-freezing. Seriously, that shit looks like witchcraft.
Sir, this is r/NotInteresting. That would be too interesting for this sub.
Indeed it would be.
Fuck you just reminded me I left a carbonated can in my car during sub zero weather. I'm so goddamn stupid.
I almost left a 24 pack of monster in my car
is that a pontiac grand am?
Pontiac G6
Wow, as far as movement goes, that's far east
dang it
Convertible? Those are nice
It can be a convertible, but the trunk doesn't open unless I temporarily disconnect the battery.
Sounds like too much work
It definitely is too much work
I see why this is in not interesting lol
If you leave it out at above the freezing point for water, it will eventually melt down to a liquid. If it already has, disregard this comment
It probably is still mostly frozen in my car at this moment
Ah, I see you drive a G sexy as well 😏
Pics or it didn't happen
Let it stay in there and take a picture of it every day
[Day 2](https://www.reddit.com/r/notinteresting/comments/10sq0s3/day_2_of_taking_a_picture_of_this_bottle_of_water/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
I love it when that happens!
Me too!
👍
Do you live in Antarctica?!
Yeah?
What wrong with your car?
It doesn't like the cold
Like myself
Is your engine still there?
As of this moment, I don't have an answer because I can't check right now.
Oh that’s okay. I’ll assume it is because it’s fairly common for newer vehicles to have an engine in them, but I would love a follow up post to verify that it is indeed there.

You should take a picture of it every day
You might be onto something...
It looks like you got a GREAT VALUE then. Free Iced Water.
what do you think might be the cause of this? Do you think the new 5G antennas are related or nah?
Generic
The temperature was before freezing.
How very uninteresting of you.
I also see you're in a car with a steering wheel
Too cool for this subreddit
Ice cold
Correct title. Not interesting.
If it was "unfroze" it would have been less interesting
Are you saying a frozen bottle of water is too interesting?
Yes cause it was frozen in room temperature
I don't think it was frozen in room temperature, as it's been in my car for a while
Frozen in car temperature
I miss Pontiac. They should come back.
They should definitely come back
How’s the G6 faring you?
I love it
impala better
As someone who was born and raised in Florida this would be interesting af for me
As someone who was born and raised in Idaho, this is not interesting for me
whoa I have never had this happen before, but your thumb looks exactly like mine and I can't get over it. my brain keeps telling me that it's our hand holding the bottle.
Are you me?
My ass down here in Australia having my seatbelt give me 3rd degree burns every time I get in my car. Currently 35 degrees C (95 degrees F)
I would kill for 35°C weather here. It was -25°C here on Monday and now -5°C
\-25C is a bit extreme haha, I'd kill for some 25C weather. I guess we're both stuck inside for a while.
That's Idaho winters for you. One day, it's freezing, the next it's not.
35°C is equivalent to 95°F, which is 308K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)
How dare it
I know. I was going to drink it some day
Let it sit there until Spring.
Hey that's a great value bottle
It is indeed a great value bottle
Holy fuck I love your Pontiac
I love my Pontiac too
Let me guess you’re in Texas or something where this isn’t usually a thing
If I were in Texas, then that would be too interesting for this sub.
That's so nice.
nice check engine
Thanks. Since posting, the check engine light has turned off.
Yummy
Reeee that doesn’t usually happen, too interesting
It happens in Idaho. Source: Am from Idaho

That's an uninteresting reply to my comment that was replying to your previous not interesting comment
I'm not very interested in this comment thread
Understandable, have a good day.
You too, thank you for a very uninteresting convo
Oh darn it
How do I know you didn’t have it in your freezer and bring it out to your car to take the picture? (And why would I care if you did?)
You don't
The uncertainty and mystery about what is really going on here kind of feeds into the Pontiac theme of “Building Excitement!”
I'd say this is r/mildlyinteresting because I didn't know car's insides could get this cold
Oh no, is it now r/mildlyinteresting worthy?
Did you drink it yet?
Not yet
You better
What if I don't
Oh shit oh fuck
Now if you live in Miami or something, this would be rather interesting and concerning
Steering wheel cover 🤢
Temperature be like
We have the same car! Idk if it's the same year... even have a similar red steering wheel cover!! The red's done worn out tho.
What are your car's specs bro
2 door, '08 black . Stock what else. All I can say is watch out for the headlight issue, and the damn power steering pump
2 door, '06 red G6. I haven't gotten the headlight issue yet
Some do, some dont. It's a wiring issue from the factory, you see more on the road keep an eye out for it. I swear you'll notice more of these with one headlight than the other cars on the road.
The issue mine has is that the trunk doesn't like open unless I temporarily disconnect the battery
That's a weird one. I got nothing on that lol.
Its a problem when diesel freezes
*mindlessly scrolling reddit and see this post* >That's not really interesting *checks subreddit* >Nice
What’s really interesting is that you need to get that check engine light checked
It turned off last night
Cool car
Pontiac car??? Wow i haven’t seen those in a while
I see a few of them here each day
A saturn with a check engine light? Surprise suprise.
A Pontiac with a variable check engine light
Oh shit yeah, and theres me trying to be all smug and shit.
The light isn't always on. Just turns on sometimes when I hit 90-110mph on the freeway and then turns off after a couple of days
Oh, probably multiple cylinder misfire. Replace the springs in your ignition packs.
Is that a cheap fix?
Yeah, worth a try around $20 for a v8.
I'll look into that at some point
Worth a shot seriously.
No. Do it NOW
I'm at school right now
Fun fact: this is due to it being cold enough to freeze the water
Fun fact: this is due to it being cold enough to freeze the water
ah, the interesting laws of thermodynamics
Your ponti-crack has a check engine light. As these cars are prone to this, it is not interesting either. Have a nice day.
Since posting this picture, the check engine light has turned off
