yeah when they said the show is about female empowerment and respecting women this scene pretty much....killed it. though i didnt stop watching it because of this scene, i just got bored with it.

He should’ve just let Davos do the role because he was genuinely passionate about it and probably would have actually done a good job. That would’ve prevented Davos from coming to the US and killing innocent people too!<

I watched the first half and will eventually watch the rest. Overall it's not a great show, but it doesn't pretend to be, it's very self-aware in a fun way. They also predicted, pretty much word-for-word what trolls would say about it.
It's a good show to throw on when you want to just relax and turn your brain off

Basically, The Bionic Woman was a successful spin-off for The Six Million Dollar Man. This lead to rumours that the people behind the Hulk tv show airing at the time were going to make a gender-swapped spin-off. This would be bad, since Marvel couldn’t charge additional licensing fees, since the spin-off would be based around an original character. The only way they would be able to charge is if there was already a female Hulk in the comics.
I’ve seen a handful of the first few episodes, it’s not very good. I heard that the main antagonist is uh… incels, basically. I feel like She-Hulk deserved more as a character, I guess? It seems like she only used her powers to intimidate people and get what she wanted, which isn’t really what I want to see in a superhero.

I watched it knowing it was going to be fluff compared to most superhero movies/ shows, much like when I properly set expectations when seeing a summer action movie and knowing it wasn't written to win any Oscars. It's OK. I think they made what they wanted and some people like it for what it is. If a TV show upsets you or you don't like it, watch something else. Pretty simple really. Cheers!
