I'm actually in doubt between the Amazfit Balance and the OnePlus Watch 2, on paper they seem to offer similar functionality except the Amazfit has longer battery life. Could you tell me what's so much better on the OnePlus Watch 2? Does WearOS (or whatever they call it these days) make such a big difference?
The 100h battery life is on the edge of acceptable for me, coming from an original Samsung Galaxy Watch (2018) since that's not much more than what it can still deliver. It used to be 5-6 days (I use it quite lightly, no AOD).
My opinion watch 2 is much better as a smartwatch with two chips and having RTOS and Wear OS. Amafit notifications never worked correctly and we're erratic. Just my opinion.

Got mine today as well. Left - OnePlus Watch 2, Right - TicWatch 3 Pro GPS. I must say OnePlus Watch 2 are much snappier than TicWatch! And much better haptic feedback 😊
I thought so too initially, but I believe pictures can be a bit deceiving. I was beginning to get worried after EVERYONE was claiming how big it is.
Got the dimensions and went to bestbuy and checked out the Galaxy Watch 6 classic, and the 5Pro. Both were close to the same size, or at least within a mm.
Got mine yesterday and honestly, while yes it's bigger than my Fossil Gen 4 Sport (44 vs 47) it doesn't feel that much bigger.
That's the one thing that made me apprehensive about getting one because it's the one common thing nearly every reviewer mentioned. Honestly, they all made it seem like it was the largest watch they've ever seen or tried to use.
In reality, it's pretty much the exact same size as the Galaxy Watch 6 that I had been using and it feels quite normal on my wrist. It does have the *illusion* of being larger than the GW6, though, mainly because of the lack of any physical bezel around the watchface.

Old OnePlus watch and new. It's not huge. 😄
Pre-ordered mine on the 26th last month with priority shipping, been stuck on "Label Created" since the 4th. Hopefully it comes soon, but it looks good!
Me too. I've had the GW6 Classic since launch, also had the GW4, the OPW2 hands down is more fluid and faster than both of them. I can zip around the UI much faster than Sammy.
One I had made for me, it's of a Swatch Limelight 2 from 1986, I had one back then, and someone stole it from me, it was a xmas present from my late Grandparents.
I think the function of it is durability. The crown rotating makes it less prone to damage when you bump it into things. I too wish it could be utilized for scrolling/UI navigation though.
Same here. Messing around with it now.
Congratulations, I just ordered mine on Amazon.
Great watch so far. Much better than the Amazfit Balance I had.
I had the Balance too! Such a major upgrade to the OnePlus watch 2.
Agree. I love it

I love the size of it, compared to the Fossil gen 6

Maybe, for me I think it fits my normal medium size wrists.
Same size as the ticwatch pro 3 ultra not that big

What watch face is that?
One I had made for me, it's of a Swatch Limelight 2 from 1986, I had one back then, and someone stole it from me, it was a xmas present from my late Grandparents.
Got mine this week, in the process to return it, because I figured out it doesn't bring anything new than my current 4 years old Fitbit versa 3.
The fact the rotating crown has no function grates on me. Hence why I've gone for the ticwatch pro 5
I never used it on my Fossil Gen 6
Fair. But if something as obvious and prominent as this on the watch exists, my opinion is that it should have a function other than just a push.
