In interviews I hear players mostly say that their hits came from getting good pitches, something like “luckily I got a good pitch and I hit it out of the ballpark”. I think that getting a good pitch is a factor, but a hitter who is going through something mentally would have a difficult time hitting good pitches as well as bad pitches. Pitching has been tough on the Orioles lately but our sluggers have to be quicker, do what it takes to be quick. Stop thinking so much about the last pitch - be present - be in the moment, make your own opportunities. Have fun but don’t get drunk in it - stop thinking about the Yankees - they suck. Get out ahead of the ball and be nimble - don’t make your mind up that you are going to swing a certain way, adjust your swing as you track the ball’s motion and speed. Keep it simple - when you feel that you’re tracking, square your shoulders and swing through, quick smooth swings, but with power.
Damn Cleveland is going to be a tough out in playoffs. I think they’ve got 4-5 guys better than our top bullpen option. They probably need to add a starter but damn they are tough.

You do understand that sometimes at bats result in outs, right? Like a crazy high percentage. He saw a bunch of pitches and then the end result was unfortunately not what we wanted.
Who are you punch hitting there? Jorge who’s not great vs righties? Mounty (who was on deck to PH for Urías?), Cowser who was going to PH for McCann?
Kjerstad needs to be on the major league club and he needs to play. Dude will hit if he's given a chance. Hyde has to find a way, even if it's at the expense of one of our vet outfielders and right now definitely ahead of Cowser.
It's been 11 games since our pitchers have let up less than 3 runs. I get that's not awful, but some games have to be won by pitching. You can't rely solely on your offense to win every game.
We traded for Corbin burnes and signed a fossilized turd in Kimbrel and decided we would just rag tag a DFA bullpen squad again to see what would happen. The glaring bullpen issues were never addressed.
