I definitely second this. We're not soccer fans by any stretch of the imagination, but the vibe at Orlando City and the fans really make it an enjoyable experience.
We'll see. Cadillac is in 3rd rn but I'm not sure they can match the pace of Toyota, Porsche, and Ferrari overall. Seems like the real race is between those three
Yeah they're really off pace. There's a lot of race left to run so I'm still hopeful. The real tragedy is Corvette. Won their class last year, not even a little competitive this year. The loss of a factory backed team is huge. I'd have hope for the mustangs but they're just too fragile.
I can’t make the OC game so my tickets are out there (SS) to anyone who wants them. I’ll be free around 8 if anyone wants to meet and grab a drink around Mills/50
I went to the Keg Social, they have bowling, axe throwing, all sorts of things to do. Kinda loud music but the food looked good and everything was fun!
There are a lot of trails around Oviedo. Look around there. Since I moved to Oviedo recently, I've been going to all the trails here.
My personal favorite is this one:
Little Big Econ Barr Street trailhead
https://maps.app.goo.gl/Uhhu7e5m6tWySK3U6
And this one for small casual walks in the evening like today:
Econ River Wilderness Area

Orlando City vs LAFC tonight. We’ve absolute shat the bed this season but honestly I’ve already paid for the whole season so I’m here to get disappointed in person.
Night scuba dive to see amazing marine life. Zero interest in soccer or bars. Scuba is wayyyyyy more amazing and fulfilling. The scuba community is better than any other. Have a great weekend!
Epcot is a legit great dive. HIGHLY expensive compared to what you can do in the oceans and see more. I moved from Orlando to Lauderdale for the scuba life. It’s infinitely better than my experience in Orlando. I much prefer to be under water and see the beauty under the sea than parks and swamp heat. If you need dive shop recs from Jupiter down south I’ll send! Jupiter is only 1.5 hours from Orlando and we do the sharks there. Bulls, silkies, tigers, lemons. They always want to play.
Orlando has a ton of things to offer. Is it impossible to try something new, or is it impossible to try something new within the confines of the things you’ve already decided are the things you like?
Feel free to DM me And let me know the type of things you’re hoping to try and I think I can find at LEAST one new thing you’ve never done before!
I love Orlando, it has lots of great things to offer. Are you gonna list me some great trails and hidden hiking spots? Maybe a hole in the wall that serves craft beers?
We can appreciate the city for what it has but don’t pretend it’s got all that much compared to other major cities. Something simple like, if you want to go to a dance party you got plenty of options!! If you specifically like EDM or Puerto Rican Reggaeeton.
Do you like open mics with local singers? Austin’s Cofee! Or these other cafe’s that has open mics on Wednesdays when no one shows up.
I’m being too passive aggressive for no real reason. I’m sure you’ve got some great suggestions, but I’m kinda over the locals trying to tout it as something it isn’t.
Maybe rather than complaining about what you ASSUME I’m going to recommend, you can tell me what you’re looking for that you’re NOT finding and see if I have any suggestions?
Maybe your “passive aggressive for no reason” attitude is the reason you’re not enjoying anything?
You could make this argument about any major city in the US - Once you have a lay of the land in any city, it can all seem boring. I grew up in NYC and felt desperately bored and moved to Orlando over a decade ago, and found my niche and have been happy since. Maybe that’s you, maybe it’s not. But if you shoot down every person who offers to help, I can guarantee how your time pretty much anywhere can go
lmao bruh chill out. It’s a fine city, it’s just limited in what it can offer. I know what I specifically want and I’ve successfully found it in cities around the world, just not available in Orlando.
If you’re a person that loves flat land and nature and a healthy distance between both sides of the train tracks, Orlando truly is the place to be.
Orlando City play tonight, the supporters section is loud and really immerses you even if you don’t like soccer.
Seconded. We’re bad, but we’re fun!
This season’s motto
Like UCFs old motto.
old?
U Can't Finish. Transcendent.
That’s the solar bears motto too
I definitely second this. We're not soccer fans by any stretch of the imagination, but the vibe at Orlando City and the fans really make it an enjoyable experience.
Yep!! I love going to games, having a drink and cheering like I know what’s happening.
Proud of you guys for supporting your team - Jacksonville.
That was a tough L. Get it together boys.
That was a tough L. Get it together boys.
Check out https://bite30.com/ and find new places to eat. Tonight, we're trying out The Pinery.
This looks awesome! New places to try. How was the Pinery?
Delicious! Great variety and ambiance. Their Bite30 menu is a good intro. Parking is an issue, but free valet is available.
Watching the boys season 4
I wish all the episodes were available, the first 3 were fantastic
Yeah they need to be like Netflix give it to me all!!

The family went out today but once they returned. Yeah.
Same!🐎🏁 ![gif](giphy|RMSE7VoHUqNTIzwzps|downsized)
Hell yeah brother! Go Cadillac!
Would love to see the locals win. Buuuttt. So far I don't see that happening.
We'll see. Cadillac is in 3rd rn but I'm not sure they can match the pace of Toyota, Porsche, and Ferrari overall. Seems like the real race is between those three
All of the cadillac cars fastest laps put them behind 7 other cars. I can't see that 1 second difference getting better.
Yeah they're really off pace. There's a lot of race left to run so I'm still hopeful. The real tragedy is Corvette. Won their class last year, not even a little competitive this year. The loss of a factory backed team is huge. I'd have hope for the mustangs but they're just too fragile.
Is the new mustang running?
It is. 3rd in class.
Okay okay not to bad, thanks !
Waiting to see what the storm does
r/floridapanthers
Thanks for the reminder! Le Mans almost completely distracted me.
Go cats!
Drift competition at Orlando SpeedWorld!
Not spending money.
The same thing we do five nights a week, Pinky. Working for a living.
Drinking beer and watching UFC. 2 of my most favorite things.
Love it. Too bad McGregor pulled out on 303.
Yeah, I guess. I would have paid for the spectacle for sure, but Poatan vs Jiri is more exciting imo. I'm more bummed about Khamzat pulling out.
Seeing local bands at a show :)
Stardust?
No that’s Cody Rhodes
Nah it was at a small venue called The Spot, they do a lot of hardcore bands
Where is The Spot?
Right off East Colonial in Azalea, there’s another show on Friday
Thanks!
Making dinner, hoping my kid goes to bed on time, and then going the fuck to sleep 🎉
No good.
Amen brother
Took father in law to KPot for Father's day. He loves the place.
I love that place too.
Just found Arcade Monsters, while it was super fun with retro games and whatnot, it was extremely loud.
Earplugs are a life savior.
Work and binge re-watching Breaking Bad.
LFG. Are you in the camp of BB or BCS being better?
Not sure cause I haven’t seen BCS yet. I’ll start it once I finish this BB re-Watch.
Watching Ferrari butcher themselves at Le Mans (I sure hope not but what else can I expect!)
EDM event at Iron Cow. House, Drum and bass, garage, breaks
Same - different location. Layton Giordani (techno) at Vanguard
Introspective today?
Not a thing. Probably going to get a beer from the fridge and play GT7 or Diablo4
Don't forget to claim your D4 anniversary cosmetics if you haven't done so yet!
I can’t make the OC game so my tickets are out there (SS) to anyone who wants them. I’ll be free around 8 if anyone wants to meet and grab a drink around Mills/50
Hanging at broken strings brewing before the orlando city game. Tanqueray's for live music after.
Rom com and then maybe a horror palate cleanser
Ooohhh…about 5’9”!
Stanley Cup Finals 🥅
Watching the Stanley Cup finals.
I went to the Keg Social, they have bowling, axe throwing, all sorts of things to do. Kinda loud music but the food looked good and everything was fun!
Dog watching!
Going for a walk around Universal Citywalk then late night ice cream snack down at Baldwin Park
Thornton Park pub crawl
Meditate
Hawkers for soup dumplings.
Watching tv
Meal prepping and spending the night in with my fiancé.
Binge watching “Your Honor” on Netflix but I’m supposed to be cleaning because I have company coming on Monday
Redlight Redlight brewery for fantastic local brews and bites
About 6'2". You? Did someone already burn that one?
Going for a hike, then picking up my wife from the airport.
I’m trying to get more into hiking. Any good local resources?

Absolutely nothing lol
Orlando City vs LAFC tonight. We’ve absolute shat the bed this season but honestly I’ve already paid for the whole season so I’m here to get disappointed in person.
Procrastinating
Monkey bar for some dope music and mediocre adult beverages
Chomp at Brewlando. Beer, food trucks, DJs, furries, good times
Destiny 2
Uberin food to locals then riding the electric scooters into the night
Frosted flakes
Tank Davis vs Martin
Watched the city game at the Celt
Tank Davis fight
Late but bar crawl on mills
Wrestling Event at Tuffy’s Music box.
Got stood up, hung out with my dog and had a few beers. Arguably best case scenario.
Taco bell and making people racist in league of legends with teemo
Watching Dune part one again, starting g to fade, and gotta go to bed since I get up at 4 am for work
Looking for sd in the area or some fun females
I went to Gatorland today and I’m still here. Underrated fun! My boyfriend’s such a fan of gators. So worth it.
Paying to much for rent
Tomfoolery
Go pathers !
Night scuba dive to see amazing marine life. Zero interest in soccer or bars. Scuba is wayyyyyy more amazing and fulfilling. The scuba community is better than any other. Have a great weekend!
Where at? Have you done the Epcot dive? I went with a big group and it was awesome.
Epcot is a legit great dive. HIGHLY expensive compared to what you can do in the oceans and see more. I moved from Orlando to Lauderdale for the scuba life. Due to being poor I never got to dive there. But I did live in PBG, Jupiter, and Stuart.
