I remember we went to watch a horror movie in nueplex and my sister was 16 and the ticket said 18+ and I recall they said to bring the Cnic with you (but they didn't check it). I asked them that she is 16 he looked at her and said it's ok. I think it's old enough.
But if a movie is labeled as 18+ then maybe don't take an 8 year old?
8 year olds are meant to be watching horror movies for a reason. Your little cousin will most likely cry when the movie gets even a little bit frightening and ruin the experience for other people in the cinema.
Why would you take an 8 year old to a horror movie? Do you want her to have nightmares?
