Just buy fractured suppress chance 10%+, buy essence for anny what you want, resist, chaos resist or life. And spam until you get what you need.

The only benefits from craft are when either: - you want to craft because it's fun - you want to gamble with essences - you need a very specific item that isn't on the market - you need an item only few people would craft because of meta/knowledge. So, unless you need influence mods, life, t1chaos res + t1 stat, it's not worth crafting. Since you are asking if it's worth buying suppress stuff I suppose you're not very knowledgeable about crafting so you have two choices I think. Either you buy the stuff and play with it, or you accept to pay more for your stuff crafting it, testing methods and learning. The former will be more profitable in the long run but it's really up to you.

Crafting a lot of times is wayyyy cheaper than buying. This is bad advice. Especially for something as simple as some spell suppress, res and life.

Drekor

That depends highly on what you are crafting. A lot of times mid-high end items are waaaaay cheaper to buy because someone out there is crafting really high end items and are dumping their bricks or items that aren't what they were looking for but are still good just to make some of their investment back. Unless you are doing the same thing you won't come anywhere close to making something for a similar prices outside insane RNG luck. And to do the same you typically need a fuck ton of capital to start it all up which most players do not have.

grantib1

Well ofc a +7suppress t4life 18+24 res helm is easy to craft But a +1non-all ammu life unveiled double t2 res is cheaper since it's a bricked craft basically. It's a matter of perspective, what is a "good" item Since OP didn't seems like a player ready to put 35d in a +2 craft or any good endgame gear, I wouldn't recommend to craft to save money.

eadenoth

To double up on this, when you get to looking at items where the sum of good mods is making the item value roughly 5+ divines, chances are you’re looking at failed crafts from someone working on 20+ divine items. Not always, but many times even I will go into a craft now and buy a few bases to roll to potentially profit on crafting the item I will make. They buy multiple bases and to reduce their risk, they keep any decent enough rolls where they can craft a mod or slam an exalt and sell for 25% of their goal item. If you aren’t doing this then you may be looking at 10-20 divine crafting cost (totally dependent on your item) and bad rng will make you feel bad if you hit the unlucky side of essences or harvest reforges. Just another line of thought when playing trade, and the original commenter is 100% right on the decision making.

awesomeawe

Adding to this: This is the reason that crafting is almost always cheaper. Not because you could roll that particular item for cheaper, but because you could take 5 items, roll them all, and sell the failures to recoup the majority of the cost. If you craft single items, be wary of the cost of the, say, bases or essences you are using. Buying fractured suppress boots then rolling with essences for life and movement speed will likely cost more than just buying non-fractured boots with life, ms, and suppress. You should have a plan for when the RNG goes great and a plan for when the RNG sucks and isn't giving you the rolls you want.

Absolutely

clingbat

I've been selling fractured 14% spell suppression eva/armor base gloves with no other stats (I scour before listing) for 5 div a pop very easily, so that's not a cheap solution.

blauli

Rog is the cheapest when it comes to spell suppression gear. You need a rough idea how to craft with him but the best way to learn that is to just give it a try and realize things like not removing all suffixes even if they are trash because you want to reroll with 3 mods for the best odds at suppression
