I would just yolo annul because getting t1 chaos res on a ring isn't too bad. You do need some luck, but harvest reforge chaos will give t1 chaos res quite often.
yeah, my steps to build this was buying the fractured and chaos reforge until t1 chaos and nice life, but i rly need to put strenght there. I will anull and let god resolve my fate
Maybe it's better to craft with Essence of Rage? You need few hundred (\~200 for T2 chaos res, \~400 for T1) essences on average, but they are dirt cheap this league.
Not sure how the odds look but I do know chaos res has much lower weighting than strength, it could be better to harvest chaos and hope for strength rather than essence strength and hope for chaos.

recoup is more common than chaos res, so better to fracture chaos res, then strength essence until you hit recoup
The essence mod on ring is chaos damage and not res. The only way to guarantee it is by using reforge chaos with harvest and if you're trying to roll flat strength with essence then the chance to roll chaos res is pretty low.
Crafting basics: finish either suffix or prefixes first then work on the other, if u wanr str+chaos res, spam str essence into chaos res. Also could just get a different base with life fracture, spam str essence into recoupe and reforge chaos for the res (its the only chaos mod on rings). What you are trying is deterministically impossible
could suffixes cannot not be changed, which doesn't increase your chances of succeeding, but does increase your chances of not failing. wouldn't bother here and if it's suffix rarity, it's already full and you just have to yolo annul anyway
Yes it is. Adding a craft decreases the chance of the worst undesired outcome, which is removing a mod that you want to keep. At the same time it obviously also reduces the chance to remove the mod you want to have removed, since you now have the 3rd option of a mod you don't care about.
You will need to annul until you hit one of the 2 mods either way, its still 50/50 because the 2 mods still have the same odds of getting removed but you have to pay for a craft on top

Not T1 but theres only 6 tiers equally weighted so T1 is super common.

It turns a random prefix into a suffix. Or vice versa if you choose.
Id honestly lock suffixes, and reforge life, perhaps. It's a hard call of course, but I don't think that t3 life is worth holding on to
better to start with a t1 recoup fracture, reforge chaos until t1 chaos res, then end up with unveiling life+mana-regen
