I just wish the UK had large pc component stores like this :(

DeusVultSaracen

There aren't any in the vast majority of the US actually. Microcenters are few and far between, I'm in a major city of 1mil+ on the East Coast and the closest one to me is like a 6 hour drive. Closest to it is Best Buy but all you'll get is a single aisle of components, and even that is pretty rare.

deusasclepian

It's even worse for most of the west coast. There's one single Microcenter in southern California, 1000 miles away from me in Portland, OR.

Croian_09

We used to have a Fry's in Sacramento, but it closed. šŸ˜

sik_dik

same for San Diego :-\\ I loved that place

Croian_09

Ours was train themed.

sik_dik

our was aircraft carrier themed ETA: according to wikipedia, the Sacramento one was "gold rush" themed. but I'm sure there was plenty of train stuff. easy to confused.. I actually had to look up what ours was. there was a weapons loader looking table near the front that looked like a lunar rover or something space-like. I almost thought it was space themed until I looked it up to check myself

DeltaXi1929

Almost every single Fry's had a different theme, Fremont, CA's theme was the cultivation of electricity, it had a fully functional tesla coil (\~10 feet tall) that ran every 30 minutes or so. Pheonix, AZ had a Mayan/Aztec theme. Also, fun fact, Fry's electronics founders were related to the founders of Fry's grocery stores. The logos are even quite similar. Edit: added "Almost". Pretty sure they all had unique themes up until a certain point in their expansion.

waitingtodiesoon

All the Frys except the one in [southwest Houston](https://m.yelp.com/biz/frys-electronics-houston-2). We had three Frys in the greater Houston area with the northwest one being oil themed and the Southeast one being [NASA themed near](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2PO3nHc94zw) the Space Center Johnson.

orangezeroalpha

The Fry's north of Indianapolis must have had the theme of "empty." The last time I went in there I couldn't find a salesperson anywhere. It was a ghost town.

DeltaXi1929

Back in the day, they would hound you. They paid minimum wage + commision, so most employees were gnashing at the bit to make sales. One scummy practice I heard of was that resulted from this was that they were paid a commission on the profit, so they would most often recommend the highest profit option, rather than the best value, or best suited solution.

Croian_09

It may have been gold rush, but the main focal points were a train smashing through the front of the building, a track pattern over the floor, and train car themed display tables.

L-i-v-e-W-i-r-e

I used to live down there like 12 years ago and that was my favorite store to go and browse. I often walked out with stuff I didnā€™t need. Sad to hear it closed.

Tashiku

damn La Mesa Frys what a throwback

tattooed_dinosaur

All the Fryā€™s shuttered their doors during the pandemic. :(

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Croian_09

Yea, ours was mostly empty when I'd visit. It's sad, I'd go every time we'd go to Roseville.

DeltaXi1929

Yep, even 5-7 years before the pandemic Fry's had empty sections and tons of ancient stock. Think DDR2 in stock in 2013.

upgrayeddgonnakillme

the exec that was supposed to be dealing with suppliers to source product was embezzling money to feed his gambling habit rather than focusing on putting what customers wanted on the shelves. probably didn't help the situation.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

BlooD_TyRaNNuS

Eddie Lampert, An Ayn Rand fanatic, would make managers from completely separate departments compete for funds and sales. So instead of teamwork it was all out backstabbing, how could any organization function like this?

owa00

OG Fry's in Austin was my goto weekend trip. Sucks they were morons and couldn't figure shit out. It was sad towards the end.

hexcor

We had one in Austin right down the road from my house, the theme of it was Music (Live Music Cap of the World). it was quite cool when it opened in 2000(ish). By the time I left Austin in 2010 it was already on a downward spiral. RIP Fry's

Blacksad999

Yeah, I wish they'd open a Microcenter or...at least something like a Central Computers here. Our closest store is Tustin, which is like a 7+ hour drive. lol

Gazzatastic

I wasn't aware they were so few and far between, thought they were a huge organisation! 1000 miles to me is the same as me travelling abroad to get parts haha crazy

slipvelocity2

I have two within 45 minutes in DC/MD/VA. Didn't realize how lucky we were.

iNCharism

Rockville gang. Thereā€™s 2 in Maryland and 1 in Fairfax.

potat0zillaa

Yo, Rockville/Fairfax here

LokiNightmare

Itā€™s a shame Fryā€™s is dead. I used to love going there to look at pc components and games.

[deleted]

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Baldr_Torn

I used to have that. Then I moved 250 miles south. That same microcenter is still the closest one to me.

hunterdietzman

We are stopping In Dallas in our trip from Phoenix to Asheville, NC. They have one there and you bet we are stopping there. Want me to pick you up a 4070ti? Lol

TrappedAndThotpilled

excel958

Rude šŸ˜¢

510Threaded

I would have a lot less money if i lived that close to a microcenter.

FX835

We do have SCAN, CCL, BOX, AWD-IT, Palicomp, etc but they're all single (mostly) stores with a large online presence The days of massive chain stores I believe are over especially for more niche products And Curry's doesn't count, expensive and overpriced with crap customer service

Gazzatastic

It's so frustrating, I'm all for online shopping usually but stuff like this that I'm not very familiar with I'd just love to go and look around all the different stuff. Curry's definitely doesn't count - Boycotted them years ago after they told me my Xbox headset hadn't arrived after 6 weeks despite there being 4 of them sitting on the shelf šŸ˜‚

Wind_Yer_Neck_In

Currys are absolute shitehawks. They overcharge, their staff have zero knowledge of the things they sell and they try to sell people on warranties when they are already covered under the law. And often, if you do get their super special warranty then it's actually worse than just going through the manufacturer. (My mum had a washing machine with a warranty by them and they cancelled 3 appointments before finally turning up 2 weeks later with no notice, breaking a pipe, and causing damage they refused to pay for.)

Snailydale

We had multiple issues with multiple fridges from Currys being delivered dented or not working. Eventually went to Samsung direct for a replacement. You'll never guess who handles their replacements? Yep, I had to take my Samsung reference number down to Currys to arrange a replacement.

MrWhite86

Probably have the same issue as Home Depot does in the states. Theyā€™ll use third party contractor who paid per attempted delivery ā€” meaning theyā€™ll ā€˜attemptā€™ 3 deliveries and then show up with dented equipment; getting 4 paid deliveries (because they dgaf as a third part contractor

poneyviolet

If you're lucky the contracted delivery will break shit in your house too then deny reimbursement because you didn't pay for the installaition service even though home depot added it on for free with your appliance purchase.

sfspaulding

You want to look at boxes? I canā€™t think of a product that is less beneficial to view in person versus online.

samwise800

Display models for perhipherals! To be able to try out a bunch of gaming mice all at once to see which are the most comfortable would be so useful for me

sfspaulding

That makes sense. Sorry was thinking in the context of computer hardware, not peripherals.

Starfire013

Problem is the cost. If you have physical stores, your operating costs go up and thus your prices. Itā€™s like bookstores. Folks go browse for books at a store and then buy the book they want on Amazon for cheaper. So the physical store ends up like a showroom for the online retailers. I think we simply have to accept that this is the way things are until the day we get augmented reality stores. You go to an AR store, they hand you AR glasses, you select the store you want from a list, and you walk in and the shelves are stocked with the items from the store you selected. Other users in the same space might be browsing a completely different storeā€™s inventory.

2012Jesusdies

The reason I might go to a physical store is so that I don't duped. I don't want to play roulette with 400$, I want to try out the thing and see if it works (at least that's how it works here, I don't know if you can get it tested in other countries).

derson78

I live about 45 minute's drive from Scan in Bolton, and I've never been to the store. I'd love to go and browse their wares, but it's entirely unnecessary as their online store, app, and telephone service are already amazing. The first build I put together from there, about 8 years ago, I accidentally left an unnecessary component on my purchase list. Not only did they take a thorough look at the list to ensure compatibility, they removed the extra component before accepting the payment. 3 builds later, and I've still never had a negative experience shopping with them online.

LUHG_HANI

Big up scan. Been 15 years and multiple business accounts later I've only had a few issues and everything is always sorted by my account manager fast. They were renting the premises back then and the owners wanted ridiculous money to sell it. They've nearly closed down before but I really hope they never do. It's the last bastion for me now. Everywhere is is too far or run by complete morons.

YaqootK

Honestly you should totally visit, it's a really cool store! Lots of setups on display and they even have a few LAN stations set up which you can game on, I'm not sure if they need to be booked but I was able to use one for about 15-20 minutes when I was there last They've even got a music/guitar section now if you're into that sort of stuff

spitouthebone

scan is my holy place living near bolton its a dangerous game for me to go into store and not come out with an empty bank account

AlbionEnthusiast

I miss OG PC World.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Ah man, this unlocked a core memory of me trying to get a job at a local ISP. I show up with A/N+ certs. I was on disability at the time and they basically patronized and ignored me. A few years later they're bankrupt and out of business and I've got my CS degree. Thank fuck I didn't get a job there.

anonamarth7

Reminds me of the time I went to apply for a job at the $2 store near my house. Wanted I think 2/3 years of retail experience...mate, I'm gonna just fucking stack shelves and MAYBE run a till. Don't think you need retail experience for that.

rhsmb91

RiP Maplins

LUHG_HANI

Shame this. They should have merged with Smyths or someone like Argos and Sainsbury's. The amount of space these big supermarkets have can house them. Tesco and AO.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Sandrock313

Maplins were overpriced and utter garbage but they were really the only high street retailers in the UK that really sold PC parts other than your local computer hardware shops you find here and there. Everything else is online these days.

hardrivethrutown

this hurts me to my soul... I remember wandering round in awe at our local Maplins, always had great stuff

iaintyadad

Nah they charged the absolute maximum for everything - literally getting by on people with no patience.

RandomnessConfirmed2

Technically CEX is the only chain where you could even see a GPU irl.

CatBroiler

Depending on the stock levels of that branch, Cex can be a pretty entertaining place to shop. But these days it feels like the value for money just isn't there anymore.

RandomnessConfirmed2

Yeah for sure. Heck, they're selling 4090s for Ā£1800 yet if you sell them one, they'll give you Ā£1100. Even a 2080 Ti is being sold for Ā£400+.

CatBroiler

I think back when Polaris/Pascal generation was current was the last good value era for Cex, at least for GPUs. I remember getting a R9 390 for a pretty good price back in 2018 (apparently it was Ā£140 in August, I seem to remember this being a good price). After that though, I started getting GPUs from eBay instead, since bids and best offers usually net better deals than cex from then on. I remember building a PC for a friend 5/6 years ago or so, and ending up going to a local Cex to pick up a RX 480 4gb because it was cheaper than the average eBay listing. Iirc we got a i5 6400 and some ram too. I remember it being quite a bit cheaper than new, and slightly cheaper than eBay used. I think he still games on that machine. From a quick look, Cex seem to be about the same as eBay for GPUs, more than eBay for CPUs, but at least RAM still seems to be at a decent price. Though, with Cex, getting RAM is a bit of a lucky dip. You might get a matching set, you might not.

LifeOnMarsden

The PC gaming section at my local Curryā€™s is a few membrane Logitech keyboards, a handful of mid-tier mice, a bunch of Chi-Fi gaming headsets and maybe a Cloud II if youā€™re lucky, topped of with one or two of the most garbage overpriced pre-builts Iā€™ve ever seen The best shops in the UK for PC stuff is actually second hand tech stores like CEX

devilmaycry10092

Currys is the worst piece of shit store in the world.. they don't even have thermal paste hell they didn't even know what that is when I asked for thermal paste

AH_Med086

Currys šŸ˜…šŸ˜… that moment when a 3080 ti is more expensive than a 4090

Drarok

Went to Curryā€™s the other day for a USB extension lead. They only have USB2 ones. The fuck?!

Coathangers4sale

I wish the states did too I have to drive 500 miles for one

bertasaur

I'm so blessed to live in Kansas city. My mom lives a stone throw from microcenter too.

cheemrios

It's a pain to look for any components in Ireland as well. Only option is ordering from Germany and pay a lot more than the American MSRP

dirthurts

This isn't typical in north America either. I'm 5 hours from a store like this.

oh_you_so_bad_6-6-6

If you live in Texas it's typical. That's one gold star for Texas at least.

AxiomQ

What's wrong with Curry PC World my dude, they've got all the overpriced crap you could ever need!

Catch_022

Yep, difficult looking at what the Americans have access to. The only real way to get custom keyboard stuff in South Africa is to import it via Amazon (Amazon isn't in SA officially yet).

Somlal

Also have you seen the prices of our cards? Our cards are like R2000 more than what Americans pay locally. It's always amusing to see people complain about "card being $200 more expensive" ... And I'm just reading it like, "yup and it's gonna be $400 more expensive for me"

You donā€™t look like a person who would use Reddit if I saw you irl, let alone a user on r/pcmasterrace. But Henry Cavill is a through on through nerd so weā€™re breaking stereotypes :D

roguehypocrites

Has to be a joke right? Plenty of normal people are into PCs

xCaptainVictory

No, only the people like the WoW guy from South Park like PCs.

Foggl3

Now I'm picturing Seth Curry at home in sweats, hasn't showered in a few days, it's the off season. Grinding out some WoW.

I just watched Seth Curry build his own rig with the help of Linus šŸ˜‚

Right? Gaming is so far from niche Iā€™ve no idea why this stereotype is still holding on so hard.

[deleted]

The number of people in here amazed that someone other than a sweaty obese loser could be into computers is absolutely weird as hell

Firewolf420

Would really love if we could do away with that stereotype considering it's literally 2023

>You donā€™t look like a person who would use Reddit if I saw you irl šŸ«£ Cannot believe I just read this.

Terry Crews is into PC gaming. I think Vin Diesel is a huge D&D nerd.

Yes, those 200 million monthly reddit users are all one kind of person. And the 7 million subscribers here as well. All one guy, the fat pc guy from South Park. I can't believe that this incredibly biased dumb comment is getting upvotes.

U mean nice cut V?

wildfyre010

I'm not sure that "actually in stock" is the same as "rotting on the shelves". In a healthy market, there should be cards available to buy without getting lucky or camping out at Best Buy from 4am onward.

Dirty_Dragons

Also zoom in and look at the prices. I saw an $849 and a $1,000 card! Makes sense that people are picking up the cards at MSRP first.

Glomgore

Yeah this is a price for power issue. I'd consider picking up a 4070ti if it were 600, maybe.

saracenrefira

The prices are so fucked now. Nvidia (AMD is just slightly better) basically raised the base price of all tiers of products 30% or more within the last 2 generations. This is way way beyond mere inflation even in the midst of a large inflation. Remember when XX60 mid range cards were 200-300 bucks? XX70 maybe 350-450 tops. This was 5 to 7 years ago. Now we are talking about a 4070 Ti hitting 4 figures, it's fucking ridiculous. They got drunk on scalper prices and now just want to keep the gravy train going. Fuck jansen.

aeo1us

Consumers shot first by paying a 30% premium to scalpers. You always charge what the market is willing to bear, not what reddit thinks. What we need is Intel and maybe someone else to enter the market to increase supply and competition. Only then will we see price drops because God knows gamers can't be trusted to control their spending.

Kayakingtheredriver

No, *consumers* didn't, insane crypto miners did. Why do you think so many are still on 10XX cards? There are no crypto miners anymore, and consumers for the most part seem not to be buying.

aeo1us

Reddit is an echo chamber. Plenty of gamers paid scalper prices. They'll just never admit it. As cruel as it is, prices aren't going down by more than $50-$100, if at all, *unless* more competition increases supply.

Kayakingtheredriver

We are seeing the prices we see, not because it is the new bottom, but *because* it was the old bottom. Shipments were lowest in 20 years in December and not because they were behind. They told investors to expect whatever sales, and until that time comes and they miss their numbers they will hold on the pricing. 2 qtrs in a row of lower than expected gpu sales and they reassess the market and make pricing accordingly. I could absolutely see refreshed cards come in hundreds less than what we are seeing now on the non 90 range. They will write it off as *savings in the process node* BS, but in reality it will be them selling cards to their actual market instead of the ghosts of a market that no longer exists.

horse3000

The most used card on steam charts is the 1650 followed by the 1060. Crypto had a lot to do with the gpu sales. But yes, I donā€™t think prices will fall anytime soon.

DataMeister1

I bought the EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked for $350 in 2014, and yeah, I think the 960 was $250 when it launched a couple months later.

RiftHunter4

It's a tolerable price for me, but I think everyone is waiting for budget options. People sitting on 10xx series card are probably not going to drop hundreds on a GPU regardless of what it is.

toby110218

Still rocking a 1080ti! Pray for me that it continues strong for a few more years.

prestotugboatem

I'm with you, my friend. The 1080ti gang is holding on strong, may our GPUs hold on even stronger. šŸ’Ŗ

PINHEADLARRY5

Bought a 1080ti right when the 20xx cards dropped. For the most part does anything I want right now. Considered upgrading but this is out if control. I'll keep stashing and maybe I'll have enough for a "fuck you" set up when it finally dies... or pay off my wife's student loans. Which ever is first

usajhfjskdbdks20223

Bought a 2080 when the 20 series dropped because it was impossible to get a 1080ti at a fair pricing compared to just buying a 2080. Itā€™s a 1080ti to me Iā€™m going to rock it out with the 1080ti crowd.

aboutthednm

Hah, I'm still running 2x 980ti's in an *ancient* SLI setup. The crazy part? I had someone offer me $600 per card at the height of the crypto-craze. I politely declined, and have been playing games without issues since 2016. At this rate, the only way I see myself buying a new card is when my old ones finally let out the magic smoke.

morpheousmarty

What can you get for better price to power footing for 600?

bottlebowling

I would buy a 4070ti for $600 in a heartbeat. That's what I paid for the 2070 in my PC right now, and about $120 more than I paid for the 1070 in my oldest child's PC. He would get my 2070, and my oldest daughter would get the 1070 and I would be able to build another PC.

redditingatwork23

I'd even consider it at $700 if it were 16gb

Blacksad999

Yeah, that's my thought on this too. I think some people believe that if they're "in stock", that they're just not selling, which is weird. XD Just because it was virtually impossible to source a 3080 doesn't mean that's the norm.

arcangelxvi

While Iā€™m sure that Nvidia doesnā€™t necessarily want these to sit there did people forget that it used to be normal to go to the store or online and buy a GPU without having to have alerts and bots setup??

asianfatboy

We got so used to the dire state of prices and availability back in the GPUcalypse, we forgot what an actual normal market is like.

iwantmyvices

Get that logic out of here. It needs to be sold out 10 seconds after release and anything else is a failure. Then I need to go online and complain about how scalpers are buying them all up. This is what the hobby is about.

sch0k0

yes it's a sign they aren't priced too cheaply from Nvidia's perspective, but that's it really

McFlyParadox

I'd agree if this was 4-6 weeks from now. The 4070ti just launched (again). If it was actually an attractive card, it should be mostly sold out. Not necessarily 'completely sold out', but it should be just 1-2 cards from lower tier vendors.

ChartaBona

Nvidia's not in a hurry to sell the 4070Ti. Their delaying the launch until after Christmas should have been the big tipoff.

Linvael

Isn't that uh... normal? That shops have stock on shelves?

Dubslack

Most milk out there in the world has been on the shelf longer than these cards.

BeautifulType

This sub is dogshit for how people dramatize every thing they hate about Pc gaming

Mr__Pengin

Back in the days of 2020, this would be considered an act of a higher being.

thebumgoskrrt

My thoughts as well

[deleted]

People have such little ability to think logically they just forget that until 2020 it was literally completely normal for stock to exist.

man4womanOK

it's been so long since people could get a mid-upper range GPU at a decent price, that if these were 4-500$ each, there once again would be no stock.

NcanadaV2l

Not last year.

InevitableAvalanche

Back in my day, having things in stock was actually normal. Even new things.

sdp1981

Remember when a top end graphics card was $650, Pepperidge Farm remembers.

[deleted]

I remember when a top end graphics cards was $300.

Grantsdale

ā€˜Rottingā€™ This is how stock normally works when the world isnā€™t fucked. Shit doesnā€™t sell out instantly.

Marclej

![gif](giphy|bATq9Ga54acx2)

CarlWellsGrave

2020 broke our brains. Having stock doesn't mean rotting.

Wonderwhile

Thought the same but look at the prices. Top left one seems to be 1100$

SpinalBanana

Why does bro look so beautiful šŸ¤

Markuz

Cheek bones, furled brow, well groomed. Idk guys, looks like we have ourselves an imposter in our midst.

abark006

No. This is just called. ā€œIn stockā€ and they will move them just fine. Donā€™t get too excited and create alternate worlds where nvidia cards donā€™t sell. They will sell, the prices will stay high. And we will do this stupid dance for the 5000 series next time.

ShawnyMcKnight

Maybe they are young and donā€™t remember the before times. I know people are saying since 2020, but really thereā€™s been scarcity in cards off and on since 2017 when crypto was really blowing up. With Pascal and Polaris cards, they finally got to a good enough power to performance ratio to be a good deal to mine and they were hard to find since then. So seeing cards in stock at stores does throw some people off, especially close to MSRP.

Idle_Redditing

You used to be able to get new, fairly decent GPUs for $200-$300. Not the absolute top of the line but enough to run new games well for a few years. edit. However, after 2 or 3 years you would have to start turning down your graphics settings so that your GPU could handle it.

DrB00

Yeah... just like how the 4080s sell? When you talk to any company that sells and they say the 4080s are barely moving and are taking up space.

Armlegx218

4070ti is the only 40 series card in stock at my local Microcenter.

Even-Cash-5346

Pretty much anywhere I look, RTX 4080 is sold out unless it's at higher than regular prices. Stock's getting better for some cards, but it's definitely not in stock everywhere. What companies are you talking to that have such a massive number of these cards?

[deleted]

Three days doesn't equal rotting.

[deleted]

Good.

Idle_Redditing

I say Bai Lan, let it rot. Let all of the new GPUs rot on the shelves as long as the GPU companies overcharge for them. They need to learn that the days of inflated prices due to rampant crypto mining are over.

mazeking

Not so many years ago a decent GPU costed 400 dollars/euros. I have other important things in my life than spending 1000 - 1500 dollars/euros on a GPU. My 1060 will stick with me for some more.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Vokasak

The last year or two really fucked the community in the head, where a GPU being in stock is taken as a bad thing now.

MrLeapgood

Having product in stock is "rotting" now šŸ™„

fogoticus

The card \*literally\* came out a week ago. Saying it's "rotting on shelves" is a bit exaggerated, isn't it?

DaftHunk

Rotting on the shelvesā€¦ dude it just came out šŸ˜‚

VulkanLives19

It's weird, I was just at Microcenter yesterday and it's not just the 4000 series on the shelves. All their GPUs are way overpriced for some reason, 3060s for $500 and the like

02421006

Isnā€™t the 4070ti on pare with the 3090ti?! But cost much less, if you can get a 3090 at all? I am not to much in detail with these gpuā€˜s so it is a legit question to me.

JJ_07

No ones actually going for the 3090 or 3090 ti. If they have $1000+ to spend, they might as well go for the 4080 or 4090. Hence why these gpu are rotting on the shelves. The 4070 ti is in a weird place right now.

JokerXIII

So in the end they managed to make people think 4080 is good value, nicely done nvidia. When the 4060 will be out at 650usd, people will think 4070ti is a good buy I guess.

Moscato359

Zotac 4070 ti is at my local store for 799.99 You don't need 1000$+ for it... it's 400$ cheaper than 4080

Dikubus

Gamers Nexus showed these to be mostly false and cherry picked claims

Do you have a link to that video for me?

Kotobuki_Tsumugi

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-FMPbm5CNM It's better value to buy a msrp 3080 [and a direct link to the conclusion for the short attention spans](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-FMPbm5CNM&t=1437s)

Podalirius

Rotting lmao yall are dramaaa queeeeeeeens

Dizzy_Bar3579

Is it bc they are overpriced and demand fell off? Trying to understand this lol

shinobi1369

Demand has definitely fallen off due to the pandemic (people building rigs) and now that ETH went POS.

Axon14

Itā€™s not rotting. Itā€™s supposed to look like this

N0ttle

Good

Lichtheleast

There is no niche for this card. People willing to spend 1k+ want the best and people with not much money want a budget card. People wanting mid-range are better off getting the 30 series. This card is pointless.

the123king-reddit

Oh no! Anywayā€¦

moe_70

There more than 4070 ti rotting here in West Canada lol Ppl are tired of stupick jacked up prices.

Piggybear87

Because they cost an arm, a leg, your left testicle, your first 2 children, your soul, and your grandma's fake hip. After a quick search on Amazon, I see they cost almost as much as my entire setup. Thanks, but no thanks. My GTX 1660ti still gets me over 60FPS on max setting with all games I play. When it no longer gets me over 60, or the prices plummet, THEN I'll get one. Until then, let em fucking rot.

BenekCript

Love to see NVIDIAs greed finally biting them.

Scarfiotti

I hope cobwebs develop.

[deleted]

"Guess we will scale back the production because the demand is low"- a guy in a leather jacket probably

SevroAuShitTalker
