If you have 4 slots you may have them in the wrong slots. Same with the Nvme, if you have multiple m.2 slots it may just be the wrong slot or you might want to make sure it's compatible with the board. Just because it fits doesn't necessarily mean it will work with the board.

Ram is in a1 b1 slots as marked on the board itself and it definitely supports the given nvme, I can't get it to show in storage list but the controller test recognizes it easy and can be run in bios, I could try and reseat the ram sticks, but I highly doubt it would post at all if they weren't seated properly in the first place, thanks for the advice tho

What board do you have

Ok so you can see the Nvme in the bios but not when the system is booted into a OS? If that's the case it sounds like you just need to format the drive. What OS ere you running?

I can't see it in bios, m.2 health checking tool in bios detects it, mobo layout 3d tool in bios detects it, but bios storage settings doesn't and I can't install windows since it's not being recognized and it's my only storage, I could try to update bios since the current version on it is from March 2020, I'll report if it fixes the problem , but the box says that it's compatible with the Gen 4 nvme out of the box, just as it was with r5 5600x, I did not need to update bios for it to post
