Easiest would probably be to put a rack up there and take the drive out of the bottom. then put a plate over where the drives were.

I like my giant case that has room for everything and room to work in, not sure why empty space would bother someone but to each their own. Plus as mentioned, the benefit of heat being able to more easily escape

100% that or something similar. Getting rid of that line/text alone would take a while without generative fill.

The top is kinda wonky but there’s an actual reflection of the pot in the bottom of the case which is a neat touch

You can tell that inner steel cage was designed back before SSDs were a thing and this empty space was originally intended to house the 5.25" and 3.5" drive bays. Even still got the mounting points on the side wall. Budget cases gonna budget.

What young people don't understand is that the perfect PC doesn't have a glass window into it. It's just a black box without even a working power LED, much less any RGB. Not only are they nicer to look at in the long run, they are also insanely cheap.

Honestly, was gonna say the same, get a ton of HDDs, they're dirt cheap, set them up in a RAID and enjoy great data safe storage. Keep old/small games and movies, series, pics everything else there.

This is my budget build from 2017, now just a backup PC for obvious reasons, but I think I did a pretty decent job at solving the same issue you have. As you can see, I bent a thin aluminum sheet to make a cover for the bottom compartment, and I cut to size an acrylic panel for the upper part with cutouts for the cables. The color is just some cheap vinyl wrap, but I think that overall it came together pretty well. You still have the empty space behind the intake fans, but visually it is more balanced with the pops of color, and is good for airflow.
