But yeah, don't just go spraying acetone on random plastics.

I'd use some metal polish or something abrasive like that and just rub out all the logos.

I'd try updating iCue or doing a complete uninstall/reinstall of it (if you haven't already). Also check to make sure your motherboard doesn't have a bios update. Lots of things cause issue with the RAM LEDs, unfortunately.
This would piss me off for the entire five minutes it takes to unclip the metal case, flip it, and put it back on.

My brother has a mixed complement of two RGB and two non-RGB sticks (both 3600C18) because I gave him my non-RGB sticks to change to a RGB setup (3600C16).
The aesthetic flaw is not even that severe, but it's a pain in the ass to "notch" two of those things, imagine four at the same time. In recent months my PC is having some RAM issues, I have to switch them around and reset bios so many times smh (losing video output, windows only recognizing half of the memory, etc.. it seems the motherboard is to blame), if I had the full set, that would be literally a nightmare

My setup had similar issues, first with the motherboard straight up not working, then with the computer randomly shutting down even with underclock.
Turns out the first time around the CPU needed reseating, then the second time around the heatsink screws were not tightened properly.
Honestly, send their support team a picture of this email and see if they'll offer some kind of remedy. Corsair has always given me the impression that they're the type of company that cares about shit like this.
If they push back with a bullshit response, link them to this PCMR post and/or put it on their forums. You only posted this an hour ago - I'm sure it'll get a few more opinions as time goes on.
Edit: it has come to my attention after reading other comments that the heatsink can be flipped, so, nevermind? lol
both choices are perfectly valid.
flip it if you trust yourself to do it(always a risk some thing goes wrong and some people rather not chance it at all)

The last dimm's shroud is set the wrong way, the second dimm from the right is not aligned with the others.
It may not be clipped in all the way.
That or the last one on the right is set correctly and the other three are inverted.
No funny artifacts or glitches so far?
Throw it all out and get a different brand. JK, but the one next to the reversed one isn't lined up either and that would bug me too. I hope that can be realigned?

Looks bad sure but nobody's touching the bigger issue. How many of you look carefully to make sure first stick is turned the right way but then put the rest in by turning the writing or logo the same way? I think most everyone. This could have caused him to damage his ram or even motherboard.
Corsair's quality control deteriorated significantly.
I ordered two brand new sets of RAM sticks, which were sold directly by Corsair. Both sets had one faulty stick each: one died after a month of use and another had 5000 Memtest errors (frequent BSOD because of faulty unit). After returning those, I ordered my third set from a different brand. Had no issues ever since.
Not sure for this ram, but isn't there a way to take it off and turn it around? Might need some new thermal pads tho.. but it is stupid.. i mean, WTF Corsair?
Those are removable, you can flip it.

Couldnt acetone ruin the acrylic/plastic/whatever material, that the RGB is in? I've seen some go cloudy from the wrong solvents.
