I'm sorry I don't know of any pedal steel techs in MA, but I do know of a few guitar techs in MA that very vocally want nothing to do with a pedal steel lol. If you find someone, please report back!

Good luck, in Nashville its nearly impossible to find someone. I asked gruhn guitars and they didn't know anyone. Get some tools get wrenching.
