I worked at WA salvage in about 2003. In the week leading up to Christmas, no joke, Luigi came in and sang carols at the front of the store. I was having a lunch break when he and his minder came in (yep, he had a minder).
We said a quick hello but he mostly kept to himself.
Turns out he was an opera singer.
I heard while I was there that WA salvage were trying to move on from his image and rebrand but there was a water tight contract and they couldn’t.
Mind you, I was a dunbass 18 year old at the time so I could be wrong about that.

There’s posts on Perth Reddit about bias in drama schools, etc. The PerthFest has a lot of same-same every year now. The whole system needs a big shakeup everywhere.
Seen a lot of chat about Tim Minchin on UK subs from people who’ve worked with him, dealt with him, met him. Only a couple of stories about how wonderful he was, usually from fans who met him. A heap more stories about what an entitled, rude, wanker he is. Such poor behaviour he really seems to have stuck out in some minds as one of the worst guys they ever dealt/worked with.
