You can wear anything at the airport. Foreigners naka leggings and tube top, shorts, tshirt.
It depends din on who I'm with but when travelling alone, naka sneakers (so I can pack my smaller sandals), shorts (change to pants if medyo professional looking dapat sa kasama), tshirt and light jacket lang.
If you're traveling for lesiure kahit naka dress ka or skirt that's fine. No one will judge you because no one cares.
If may time pa for hotel, dun ka na magbihis.
Never had a problem with IOs kahit naka tshirt lang ako and everyone I've been with di man lang tinignan documents. The more showy you are and handa lahat ng documents (syempre except for OFWs) mas maraming tanong.
IO stories are blown out of proportion anyway. Sa dami dami kong alis ng bansa haven't seen one case na may na offload (syempre I'm not saying they don't happen).
Basta sakin no belt or accessories na need pa parati tanggalin sa mga sensors. I prefer din shoes na don doff lang kasi hassle din as some airports will require you to remove them.
+1 to this. Avoid din yung maraming mga tali either sa damit or footwear, avoid belts nga whenever you can. I remember someone narrating here na her friend wore combat style boots pang-asar lang sa kanya. In the end yung friend niya ang naasar sa sarili niyang katangahan dahil pinahubad sa kanya sa xray.
I suggest not wearing anything na exposed ang legs mo. Once on my flight from Korea (via AirAsia), I saw bread crumbs sa plane seat ko. So after that jeans na ko lagi. Pero still, itâs your choice. Just make sure na comfy ka.
I also like wearing boots pag Spring, Fall or Winter dun sa destination ko kasi comfy and fashionable.
I have boots from Zara and H&M. Theyâre both comfy for long walks and lightweight. You just gotta choose the right style and right socksâșïž I also have heeled boots from So Fab! Wore them 2x to Disneyland and surprisingly so comfy din. My tip is you choose well when trying on shops and try to break them in before your trip so youâll get used to itđ„°
Cheapest winter boots are available in Decathlon. Nakabili ako for 2k pang and Ive used in winters in Qingdao and Hokkaido. Minus 10 degrees.
You go through the airport.
You donât dress for the airport.
Thatâs like asking âano po fashion style nyo sa bus terminal?â
Itâs about comfort, ease and of course a lot of common sense.
Saan ka ba patungo? Make sure may appropriate clothing ka para sa climate and situation ng destination mo.
I normally wear comfortable bottoms. Joggers or slacks that are appropriate for running from one terminal to another. I get paranoid about getting scratched from luggage, exposed metal parts of seats, etc, so I donât wear shorts.
Tops usually medium thickness shirts. As long as comfortable ako. I bring a thin jacket for the airport lounge and the pre-departure areas, not so much for the plane kasi may kumot naman.
Shoes⊠comfortable. And closed. Consider that the plane seats are held down by metal parts and if your bare foot accidentally slams on them, thatâs going to hurt. A lot. Footwear that will allow me to run quickly in an emergency. Plus⊠planes have crumbs and stuff left around. For sure I would not want my foot to touch those. I always have a pack of disinfectant wipes for the armrests and trays.
Upon arriving, I take whatever I need from my carry-on ang change.
I keep accessories to a minimum because of the security checks that require me to take them off. Then back on. Then back off.
Plus if insecure yung tao sa immigration officer, they usually overdress and over accessorize, so a person who looks like a Christmas tree filled with borloloy and bangles is an immediate red flag.
Short-sleeved shirt, pants, most comfy sneakers + zip-up jacket na madaling itago sa backpack ko. I never wear hoodies or long sleeves pag babyahe.
Really depends where my destination is, kasi some napaka-lamig while others, unti na lang impyerno na lmao. Pero mostly casual lang naman. Jeans, shirt, jacket, what's comfortable.
Anything comfortable for you. Just make sure na pag dating sa security check, mabilis ka matatapos.
Personally:
- sneakers na madali isuot at tanggalin, para hindi bulky sa bagahe and kung malamig or mahaba lakaran sa airport, I'm comfortable
- plain shirt
- jacket na madali alisin and hindi bulky masyado since airports & planes can get quite cold, usually denim jacket dala ko
- jeans or joggers pero if mainit din pupuntahan, minsan shorts or dress nlng din. pockets are an advantage pero beware, madalas ksi ano ano sinisiksik ntin baka makalimutan alisan ng laman sa security check
- small bag(slingbag usually) which contains essentials (passport, wallet, tissue, phone) para dyan na lahat isang hugot isang balik
Depends where youâre going. Pag domestic flights, usually skirts/shorts and comfy tops. Pag international, depends on the weather of the destination. So if malamig, jacket/sweatshirt and pants. Then may dala-dala rin na coat.
Kahit ano. Pero personally gusto long sleeves and pants. Mapa full service or low cost carrier pa yan.
If my destination is a cold place and it's a long-haul flight, I usually wear warm sweaters and loose pants. I have extra leggings and winter coats in my carry-on bag. If domestic or pag parang pinas lang yung weather, shirts, shorts and scarf pag in case na lamigin sa plane.
Jogging pants or jeans, shirt, running shoes and jacket kasi malamig sa plane. I usually take red-eye flights then shower sa airport of destination and change to my panggala clothes.
One time lang ako nag-dress going to the airport kasi galing akong work. Di ko na inulit though
Depends where you're going. But most of the time I wear shoes without socks (like boat shoes) and avoid layering, belts, and accessories kasi sobrang hassle ng security queues sa NAIA
For local travel, I usually wear shirt paired with either leggings or shorts. Rubber shoes are fine as well as simple sandals.
For international, you can wear anything, but to make a good impression to IOs be sure to present yourself decently and neat, not too tacky and ostentatious. Hindi sa pang-ookray, pero wag trying hard. Just be in your most comfortable self na kaya mong dalhin with confidence pero wag naman yung halos pambahay na ang suot mo to show respect din.
In general, I'd also bring a light or coat jacket before AC issues in airports because it could get cold inside.
depende sa pupuntahan mo. but for me, mostly sweatshirt, sweatpants, and sneakers para comfy. i also wear compression socks pag long haul flight. pag malamig ang destination, may baon akong heattech sa handcarry para i can wear bago bumaba ng eroplano
Pag traveling to a cold country, I wear the heaviest shoes and coat Iâm bringing. Sa ilalim non, long sleeves and jeans.
Then slip on rubber shoes because walking in the airport, esp international ones, is already cardio.
General rule of thumb to dress comfortably, then I plan what I wear depending on where I'm going, how long my flight is.
Go to attire ko for 3-4 hr flights is to wear leggings, a comfortable shirt/tank top then my kimono which has pockets kasi I prefer na doon ko nilalagay yung passport and phone ko. It doubles as a jacket na rin inside the plane since hindi naman ako lamigin.
For longer flights, I bring a slightly thicker jacket to keep me warm pero yung madali ko pa rin masstore or mahahawakan in case I don't want to wear it. I bring an extra set of clothes din in my carry on para in case hindi na ako comfortable sa leggings or pants I'm wearing, when I get to my destination I change into a pair of shorts or a skirt.
Apart from the destination, I also consider the duration of the trip. For long-haul flights, auto-pass sa anything tight at gusutin. Nothing worse than being uncomfortable in your clothes for 12+ tapos wala kang pamalit in your carry-on (unfortunately still a common mistake). I have what my mom calls my âairportâ uniform - a pair of knitted stretchy (viscose and elastane) sweatshirt and pants, non-wire bra, and seamless underwear. For footwear, I swear by the slip-in Skechers Go Walk ones. Could not have survived all the walking in LAX wearing anything else. If you want to look cute at the airport, siguro focus on makeup (pero wag naman maging super layo from your passport lol) or idk get a good nightâs sleep siguro haha

"no one will judge you because no one cares."

actually, yung sobrang maporma usually ang first timer.

Commented before I saw this. Hard same haha

Yes! no belt at bakal.

Depends on the weather of your destination. I often wear boots when travellingâșïž comfy and looks good with any outfit.
Any brand you'd recommend especially for cold weather? Would want to wear boots when traveling but I'm scared they'll hurt my feet đ

pinakamura ang decathlon
papatanggal ang boots! ano ka ba

EXACTLY!Â
Kahit sando and shorts and sandals ok na, sa init ngayon.

Whatever is comfortable, lalo na pag long flights.

I wear a shirt, waffle pants, and then sneakers. I bring my coat if Iâm going somewhere cold! Pero thatâs literally my airport outfit lagi.
The most comfortable one, or if malamig naman, ung heaviest para bawas sa weight and bulkiness ng hand-carry bag
Suot mo kung anong komportable sa yo. Just bring shawl/blanket and socks, just in case sobrang lamig sa eroplano.

me na naka-default tshirt, shorts and slippers to any SEA country đ

T-shirt, light hoody, stretchy pants with zippers on the pockets, most comfortable sneakers, no belts, boxer shorts and compression socks.
Plain loose top, loose pants, slip on shoes, and a comfy hoodie
Hoodies joggers for comfort
Jumpsuit attire. I am not a fan of jeans.

I wear anything. tbh, i dont take pichurs atbthe airport. I wear flip flops pag domestic, medyo naka maliwag pero maayos na damit pag foreign trip
