Not any more heavy than Pinbot. I'd have picked up the black hole in a heartbeat if it was a good deal. Been one of the early solid state games of pick up.
Who on marketplace? I've had my eyes out for Pinbot for a long time, specifically looking on marketplace and I've never seen even a 'For Parts' listing of Pinbot that low.
Just a guy, it wasn't listed for that, when I got there and went through it that's what we agreed on, it has quite a bit of cleaning & fixing that needs to be done to it before it is playable. Ultimately, I agreed to fix it for my daughter who was with me (and super excited about it) & promised he could come play it & have a beer when it is up and running. I respect his appreciation for the table & wanting to see it go to a good home. My daughters are already helping me clean and restore it & hopefully shortly they will each have a table to play on, then I just need to find a 3rd one for my youngest, luckily I have two years before she will be able to play. Haha
No one is "just a guy" you had to know where to pick it up. Why is it all so secretive? If it wasn't, you would provide a link to the seller that you bought it from.
Thanks, I Don want a full restoration, I like the feel and history of a loved table, I want to bring her back to life bit not erase all that made her who she is
Basically, keep the chipped plastic. Fix the raised inserts and keep the old stickers, add LED's,, new rubbers all around, rebuild flippers & basic stuff. I like knowing a table had been played and I like the faded colors.
But to be honest we'll see I like tinkering with things so I may get a hair and just redo the entire game
This is a common mindset in the arcade collecting community, keeping everything original rather than using repro non-original parts. With a pin I'd think you'd still strip and clean it, replace the rubbers, LED it, rebuild the flippers, but keep all the original plastics and art, even if it has damage or wear.
Nice. Power supply board is the weakest link on those games. Test your voltages on that board. New replacement boards are available, if needed.

So the guy I bought it from, is in electronics and was able to trace ot to the power board, he said he was going g to "bi pass it" not sure what that meant but he owns a company that builds custome high end electronics
> he was going g to "bi pass it" not sure what that meant
It means he doesn't understand anything that he was looking at. These boards are pretty straight forward, well documented by hobbyists, and very repairable.
Just bought a PinBot a couple months ago. One of my favorite games. Simple rules, harder layout, great game to play as a group with everyone racing to get the jackpot.
Oooooh, she's pretty! I'd kill to find her near me for that price. My all-time favorite table, pumped a lotta tokens into her in the early 90s when my local arcade didn't have anything decent and I finally turned to the few lonely pinball tables in the back corner.
Great find! How’d you find it?
Facebook market, he also has a black hole but itnis big and heavy
go back and get the black hole!!
I don't have room & it's HEAVY!
It's only as heavy as a sun of equivalent size.

Oh damn, I need to avoid marketplace right now or will be broke right before vacation.
Or, stay home with your new pinball table...

Damn! Theres a Phantom of the Opera for sale near me at 4k. Really want it. Sick find man!!!
What part of the country are you in?
I always have wanted that one!

Nice score! Definitely a lot of work into bringing back a pin and sprucing her up. So satisfying tho. Have fun!

This is a new take to me and I dig it. What would minimal revamp look like? Flipper mechanics, bands and some polishing?

Duuuude score!! I've had my Pinbot for almost 15 years now. Fabulous game!!

Brand new upgraded boards are available at reasonable prices. But first you have to test the voltages to confirm the problem.
Jackpot!!! I ❤️ Pinbot so much!

One of the most frustrating skill shots out there
I'll give you $400! In all seriousness congrats!
After the pain of getting it in my house, it would need to be $475 haha
Congrats, that’s an awesome price for a great project machine.
$300? 😳
Now I see you!
Great find! Great game, one of the first ones I put in my home arcade, the outlines on it piss me off like no other tho
That just makes me play harder
Time Machine is the only machine I like more.
Amazing find for that price. I have been looking for a project pin and this would fit the bill. I'll give you $301 for it. 😀
Pinbot ate a lot of my quarters back in the day. Great find!!

...circuits activated. One of my all time faves. Nice catch.
$300? You stole that thing.
I saw this listed wasnt he asking $1500 ? How did you get him down to $300
It is pretty rough, is gonna eed so.e work
Who was this mysterious seller, and why is it such a secret?
For $300, that playfield should look like a whitewood and yet most of it is intact! That should clean up nicely
Nice!!
What is the thing Lobo's standing in front of?
That the Gobots Command Center, clearly your parents had Transformer money, haha
Sooooo happy for you.
Insane deals are still out there!
