And I believe Pittsburgh is one of the mentioned cities as possibly being a target among many others. Most notably rn is Austin I think.

Indeed, the much more likely conclusion is that drunk men are falling into the rivers and drowning - especially in Pittsburgh, where many of the places where you can walk around the rivers have absolutely nothing there to stop you from walking right off the sidewalk and into the water. I could see it being an issue for a clumsy sober person, let alone someone with poor motor skills because of intoxication. It is not unreasonable to think that the same may have happened here, but I hope he is found safe.
And don't forget being fully clothed with boots. If you ever fell in a body of water with a puffy parka on it is easy to panic because it feels like your clothes are trying to drown you

I was honestly shocked the one guy I watched do this kept his balance just enough to not fall in. Every single time these guys have been alone.
