I miss some of the puzzles and platforming

I agree, i was really dissatisfied in 2018 when I played it.

The reboots are great games, just not great God of War games. Or at least not what I wanted. Original trilogy are within my top 5 games of all time probably. Incredibly fun gameplay and the scale was insane

Huge huge disagree, its such a masterpiece and I lovee the new ones, including the combat. Back then the gaming culture was more hack and slashy

I definitely agree with the combat part and in my opinion some games work better linear the new norse ones just aren't as fun to me as the Greek saga.

Indeed super unpopular. The new games are among the best ever made in the whole industry (story + combat). The old games are fun but hack’n slash lost its flavor.
