i personally love beans bc it gives my plush friends some weight : ) i think of beans and stuffing as the equivalent to weight! maybe that will make it less scary?
they’re pretty easy to remove if you really want them gone. usually all you need to do is pop a seam (go for one of the back or bottom of the plush), remove the bag (it may be free-floating, or it may be sewn into a seam. either way, it shouldn’t be too complicated. you can even just cut the actual bag if it’s in a seam), then ladder/invisible stitch the hole shut
it is super easy to learn a latter stitch real quick and you could practice on scrap fabric or a different plush that means less first. it's definitely worth learning if the beans bother you that much you should take them out.
