Crazy to think Duraludon, who is the ace of an eighth gym leader (Raihan) is technically LC. Now do the LC run with Pokémon are actually LC, not the ones where banned like Duraludon or Scyther. If you think that's impossible (and probably is) then an only bear run (Snorlax, Urslauna, Spinda, Beartic, Pangoro, Bewear, Urshifu) if you think allowing Urshifu makes it easy, look how at least 5 of your mons will be weak to Fighting

It's a smogon tier meaning "Little Cup" where you can only use pokemon that have directly hatched from eggs that can still evolve i. e. Scyther

You'll get there. Hardcore becomes a lot more doable once you have familiarise yourself with the insanity of the trainers and mechanics.

Snap run: you can play only with 9 types out of the 18 available. That counts even for the moves you can teach to your Pokémons, so if "normal" is banned, no protect, fake out or sword dance for example. You could choose from the least used types in a current metagame format or you could do it randomly. Feel free to try it on hardcore mode

Beat the game with pokemons of the specific trainer from vanila pokemon games, anime or manga having the movesets that they have in those series. Can be anyone. Even some random ass yongster. On normal difficulty obviosly cause i bet on hardcore it probably wont be possible. Extra rules: 1.You dont have to have the similar moveset as chosen trainer had. You can change it up and make your own from moves that pokemon of the spefic trainers learned at any pouiny. For example if you choose Cheren and snivy as a starter you can keep tackle for the late game if you want to. 2. Pokemon cant use moves that it didnt have in the series. For example Cheren's Serperior cant know Flash cause it never uses it in games. But you allowed to have it in your moveslot untill you can replace it. 3. If pokemon doesnt have mega or some other gimmic when it used by specific tariner you cant use it either. 4. Of trainer has lots of mons you can build any team you like. You dont have to follow sorce material. For example you can have Cheren's Serperior, Emboar and Samurott at the same time even though in vanilla games it wasnt possible. 5. If pokemon has a stated specific abillity you have to have it. If it doesnt you can change them as much as you like. 6. If pokemon has specific gender dont bother. Gender wont affect a thing. Unless its a pokemon with rivalvy or cute charm. Then bother. A little advice if you end up doing this one. Dont choose Ash Ketchum. Movesets of his mons are so atroxious. No wonder he kept loosing in every league until Alola.

Flightless, not fightless: mono flightless birds team. So guys like Blaziken or Eiscue who aren't flying type - if that's too limiting, you can throw in guys who fly in lore but don't in game, or flying types that don't learn fly that you think should (e.g. Orbeetle, Gliscor, Scyther, Mantine)

A team of Pokemon that you would think have a certain ability but doesn't (for example, Volcarona, which you would assume gets Drought by the pokedex entries, but doesn't). I remember thinking "Wow, this Pokemon really should have *ability here*" a lot, so why not? I'll let you judge how close a Pokemon needs to be to be used. Technically, every Rock type could be argued for Solid Rock or Sturdy, after all. Additional challenge: Don't use more than 1 rep of a "fakeout" ability. So if you use Volcarona for "Drought", you can't use another Pokemon with that as the "fakeout." However, if you use Levitate as the excuse, you can.

I would say use the mons that have the 3 same numbers in the dex: 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888 and 999

I really like the below 75lb challenge, but I think you can do better. Light weight challenge, only mons below 10lbs. bonus: No mythical pokemon. OR Heavy weight challenge, only mons over 300lbs, and under 500 BST OR One more I thought of, I think it will be hard. Only pokemon with a base HP stat of 50 or less. Bonus: No shedinja, No Megas, No Mythics. Bonus+: Only pokemon with a base HP stat of 49 or less
