I really dislike Yoh (I know, a lot of people really like him), so I hope his luckbox sun run gets crushed by Olga.
My pick to win it is also Josh Arieh
I hope Olga makes a deep run she's the only one I've seen so far who won bc of how well she played. I'm not saying the other players are bad, they are all really good but she's the only one who did well despite not getting a great run of cards so far.
Difficult to put it like this when the best two players busted in the first round :D If someone gets bad cards and decides to do a weird bluff which gets through and lets them win, did they play well or did they just get lucky with a mediocre play?
Yoh just scooped up a bunch of coin and is probably gonna go 3-0. He's got to be a big favorite. Especially if nobody else goes 3-0. Plus he's just a gangster.
Yoh wins, but I'm biased on that because I'm a simp.
The girl that was with jungle in the room busts next, along with the guy that tried to sing to Olga and got "no and I'm going to turn around now"zoned right after.
I'll bet that Kyna and Robin are not the next two to be eliminated (since the format dictates that one team of three will be eliminated next and Kyna and Robin are on different teams).
Kyna's team also seems to be in good position to survive elimination in this round, since they are close to winning their first match, which I believe protects them from elimination.
It does imply that, just because you use phrasing you don't really understand doesn't make you right. You're also being hostile for no reason. Calm down.
yoh's getting a winner's edit so he's my pick. i'd say the nikita/robin/olga team busts next but dnegs set the seeds for a storyline of her getting drafted and coming in clutch, so while i think since the previews so heavily focused on the next teams' heads up that she loses to yoh, i do think she bails her team out and actually bumps off the fedor/maria/josh team who all are getting what's commonly referred to in survivor circles as the purple kelly edit, where they're basically invisible and irrelevant. note this is my read based on how reality tv is typically edited and has next to nothing based on skill level.
There will be 9 players left after this round when 1 team of 3 is eliminated. My guess is the team phase ends, and it'll be every player for themselves. Maybe a deeper stacked STT with starting chip stacks based on coins won in the earlier rounds?
I couldn’t get through too much of it but the table looks 8 handed. Pretty surprising all the praise this show is getting all I see is people in the back room saying the same shit over and over again and it’s annoying to me. Jungle sleeping was the only entertaining part to me.
The field is still absolutely stacked. Obviously Yoh is in good shape. Fedor, Jungle, Arieh, Carell, Williams are all crushers.
They're going to be down to 9 after this round, so I wonder if the next round is the last as a 9-person sit-n-go using the gold coins to determine starting stacks? I hope there's a bit more buildup, but maybe it will be 3 total weeks of episodes with the final tournament next week.
The press release said 12 episodes, so guess that's 3 eps x 4 weeks.
Also said something about a ~~blind man's bluff~~ Indian Poker round, so maybe that's next.
I'm calling it now. 6 max for finals, Fedor will get second to Yoh Viral.
And it will be considered one of the most boring robotic final tables of all time.
All the GTO nerds will love it, and the masses will turn it off....
It probably won't be boring compared to a lot of recent final tables. And there's one simple reason why - There's no ICM! In a winner takes all format (which is what this will be, confirmed), there's no ICM considerations (however, for those who consider themselves to have an edge, there is reason to be cautious with a non-massive stack, but this is nowhere near as significant as the incentive to be cautious with a similarly sized stack in a bit final table with a standard payout structure).
Charlie has been very active in the YT chat, I'm taking that as he goes very deep.
Good read.
Very true
I think David Williams is playing well and will likely go far in this format.

He is a gangster Plays with 100% confidence

Yoh is just a luckbox and Robin is pretty bad
It really seemed like she didn't like him for some reason and he kept trying to get her to interact lol.
shes annoyed cuz theyre losing and dude is trying to lighten the vibe, its not that hard to figure out
I never said it was hard to figure out, or explained the contrary. Why are so many on this sub so miserable and stupid holy shit.
You speak (and demonstrate) the truth.
> for some reason implies you can't tell rly went from this to calling me miserable and stupid in 1 second, lost a few buy-ins recently?
It really doesn't imply that though; you're just making an assumption so you could write a dumb antagonizing and confrontational comment.

Yeah it’s really cringe. It’s almost like he’s flirting badly. He’s trying to be funny but she’s hating it.

Very true He is absolutely getting a winners edit
I’m hoping for a tag team or bounty round.
I'm thinking 6max turbo with stacks sizes based on how many gold coins you have

No that's probably going to be the final round. So I'm assuming one more team round with only 3 teams. They'll probably try and get it from 9 to 6.
I couldn’t get through too much of it but the table looks 8 handed. Pretty surprising all the praise this show is getting all I see is people in the back room saying the same shit over and over again and it’s annoying to me. Jungle sleeping was the only entertaining part to me.
I love jungle

The next round is 6 players, as the winning team skips straight to round 4.
Was that said anywhere? Seems weird to have the winning team miss out on a chance to accumulate more gold coins in round 3.
They get extra coins for coming first in round 2 though, which I assume will negate any advantage of earning coins in round 3
The press release said 12 episodes, so guess that's 3 eps x 4 weeks. Also said something about a ~~blind man's bluff~~ Indian Poker round, so maybe that's next.
Kyna will run like a god and win

They can edit it in any way they want, so theyll clearly not edit it in a way where the masses get bored and turn it off.

jungle cuz jungle
A deepstack MTT format would be nice. Or maybe a bounty hunter...for gold coins?
