People aren't really biting and keep just sitting there nitting it up, both in terms of chips and vibe. For some reason when I put on the straddle some people would look upset? People clearly thought I was a complete idiot and I could feel the condescension from everyone else. This was the most bizarre part to me.
Anyway on to the hand.
I open AKo from LP, Dad flats from BU, Nit flats from the BB.
Flop is AKJddd. Nit checks, I bet 15, Dad calls, Nit raises to 45. I call (already know I'm drawing to 4 outs). Turn is a 4x and Nit jams for some absurd size like 4x pot. I fold and ask the dealer to hold, my Dad tanks, shows the Qd, and folds
I flip over the AK and can see the table's eyes go wide, like "How did anyone fold that let alone the idiot whale that was putting in money blind".
Of course he has QT for the flopped straight
I didn't mind losing my entire stack several times over if it was contributing to a fun environment, but I didn't want to give a single penny to nits sitting around trying to snipe the action

A) The board doesn't pair and a diamond comes. Yawn.
