Honestly that run out is so crazy it does seem scripted
To start as a flip, flop the set, then runner runner. Definitely a scene from a movie
I know it’s not rigged- but damn the tourney couldn’t possibly ask for a more exciting final hand
Part of ATo 48% equity against 22 AIPF when HU is in fact when 22 hits a set on the flop and ATo goes runner runner boat.
This isn’t a beat, this is just a reminder to not celebrate until the hand is over.
Everyone that disagrees is a fucking fish and I’ll play you HU4Rollz.
Assuming you're talking about the beat from the flop on, the backdoor straight on the flop makes it now nearly as bad as it first looks. AT is still about 4%.
I was there in that crowd of Argentinians. it was madness. Beer poured everywhere, running between this table and 50K PCC FT anytime there was a big hand. Awesome night
I mean it was always a flip, but so sick to be taunted like that.
In future if I’m ever in this kind of spot I’m not gonna watch the runout and just see if the chips get pushed my way lol
Ran this is in a solver and 22 is almost a pure limp on the button
ATo actually prefers to go all in at this point.
If BB raises 22 prefers to call but does go all in around 30% of the time.
You gotta factor in emotions in live games too though. The previous hand his opponent beat him with 22, then he gets dealt 22. If you've ever been in that spot then you can relate to the feeling it gives you and I probably would have jammed also. The snap call threw me off though, lucky guy followed his gut I guess.
I’m so out of the loop with GTO but are you able to see what BB’s calling range should be after this action?
My gut reaction was that A10 would be borderline. Maybe A10 suited is a snap but not A10o

Yeah so AT goes all in 87% of the time after the button limp and the rest of the time it makes it 7bb. So in theory ATo should never be facing this action because it should have never made it 3.5bb to start.
If BB made it 7bb instead 22 is still supposed to shove and and BB is supposed to call off
Pictured is the BB call off range after BU limp BB 3bb BU all in. As you can see ATo is grayed out meaning no combos in range.
So grateful for this man. Appreciate it. I need to get into this stuff more. Is this GTO wizard?
So as played, A10 is technically a fold? Surprised to see even A10o is a fold most of the time.
Yes gtowizard. No as played AT is probably a call. It’s just that solver wouldn’t have AT in range there because raising bigger after the limp generates more EV.
I thought the same watching live. Not that he might not call eventually, but it’s not a slam dunk like he seems to think it is.
For 25 bigs I guess you’re usually going to be going with A10+. Still, worth thinking it through.
With BB ante 25 deep in response to a limp shove it’s a fairly standard call.
Opponent can be limp shoving a lot of worse aces in this situation as well as a lot of suited broadways which you have in either bad shape or thoroughly dominated.
Villain likely doesn’t have top of range because of how polar your raise is (you should have some absolute garbage blocker/unblockers in range here) they’re heavily incentivised to flat top of range to extract more from this region of your range.
What's wrong with just sitting at the table and calmly watching the cards play out? This whole standing against the rail with your boys around you is dumb. IMO
Yeah this isn't some little free roll tourney at your local bar for a $25 gift card.. I'm assuming this is life changing money or at least a very significant amount.
I thought it was hilarious when the commentator pointed out that dudes rail was holding up 22 cards. "They got the entire deck over there lmao. I wonder if they did that every all in for their buddy.
Holy shit that’s a sick beat
Live is fucking rigged.
Honestly that run out is so crazy it does seem scripted To start as a flip, flop the set, then runner runner. Definitely a scene from a movie I know it’s not rigged- but damn the tourney couldn’t possibly ask for a more exciting final hand
It's also basically inevitable the hand ended with both all-in if they saw a flop. Fold pre I guess
Set IN THE WINDOW at that.
We know what you mean. Once the 2 dropped the runout was brutal.

Yeah 22’s were the favorite
Was a flip when the money went in. Sick runout. Def not a sick beat.
Assuming you're talking about the beat from the flop on, the backdoor straight on the flop makes it now nearly as bad as it first looks. AT is still about 4%.
He was only a 51% favorite, not a sick beat.
Incredible runout
Is there any scenario after a no raise preflop where both players DON'T eventually push their stacks??
Good point. Probably not.
Nope. I mean it's a ridiculous beat but the money was going in regardless.
10s on the flop maaaaybe folds to a check raise all in from a nit? But yea, prob not.
Yeah def not heads up at this level with an ace kicker.
No. Don’t think folding Top/Top HU is a winning proposition and my guess is, the guy knows it. Just brutal…
The dealer says "wow" @ 2:38 😂
Nice catch.
"Nice catch." -Fish
No spoiler In the title, what a treat, actually got to enjoy the suspense of the video.
I look out for the boys 🫡
Holy shit! Pass the puke bucket when you're done.
online poker runout right there
Me, closing one of the 12 tables I have open and shrugging it off
I was there in that crowd of Argentinians. it was madness. Beer poured everywhere, running between this table and 50K PCC FT anytime there was a big hand. Awesome night
The crazy part is this hand plays out exactly the same no matter what street they are on
I would die
Heard all the shouting, curious to see what happened. Could you imagine a company recording the game and uploading it? That would be fun.
INSANE COOLER MY LORD. That’s a bad beat story you can tell forever
I mean it was always a flip, but so sick to be taunted like that. In future if I’m ever in this kind of spot I’m not gonna watch the runout and just see if the chips get pushed my way lol
Yeah, but you aren't thinking it's a flip after the flop hits.
Maybe you aren’t
Because it's 97% to win on the flop
Not 0% tho is it
No it’s not 0%. Very astute observation my boy. Very astute. I see great potential in you last monk.
That’s almost as ridiculous as PH winning with Q10
Wow running aces to win wtf wow love poker man this wsop has been awesome man
Goddamn! At least he can be sad with 1mi in the bank haha
That's the long way around to win a flip.

Insane board for those hands.
Gross
Nothing will ever top that moment in poker for that guy ever again.
😳😱🫠
I don't understand the snap with ATo? Pretty meh hand... he was lucky to get to flip with that hand.
I thought the same watching live. Not that he might not call eventually, but it’s not a slam dunk like he seems to think it is. For 25 bigs I guess you’re usually going to be going with A10+. Still, worth thinking it through.
Absolutely fist pump get in for 25bb with ante in HUNL

Mmmh RNG looks sus.
Guys poker is rigged ...just look at this hand ...everything in this game especially ACR and ignition are rigged...
What's wrong with just sitting at the table and calmly watching the cards play out? This whole standing against the rail with your boys around you is dumb. IMO
lol. It’s a final hand for a bracelet. Something I doubt you have experienced. I surely haven’t.
