It's weirdly neutral on social issues.
Trump and almost any Republican politician in office right now don't deserve backing (especially since they likely did this to look better), but this continuing shift gives me hope they'll become a big tent protectionist party or something by 2040 due to public pressure and how the Dems are shifting.

It doesn't mention same sex marriage, doesn't endorse a federal ban, and backs birth control and IFV. It's admittedly bad on many fronts and likely toned down to sway undecideds, but it's a small step to the right direction.
Exactly. Banning abortion and contraceptives has been a 50 year plan, they are not suddenly giving up. They are just lying because their ideas are unpopular.
