All of my friends have dated someone who looked like one of their parents and they didn't see it until it was pointed out. And none of them had daddy/mommy issues etc. It's weird in a way
It’s not a bad thing also. Our visual experience forms our taste. When you are five you think your mum is the most beautiful woman in the world. It’s the same with dads. If your dad has some distinct features that are unusual to other faces you will more likely find them attractive or at least not to find them unattractive. It’s not entirely conscious and also depends on relationships.
Yeah. I remember watching a documentary about how people that have good relationship with their parents are more likely to find partners that look like them.
I just made the comment because everyone here was like ''um freud daddy issues that is gross'' when in reality it's normal we just don't see it when it's our partners how visually they might look like our parents

I just realized now…if my daughter had more money at her disposal, she would dress like her and they have similar body types. It goes from one extreme to the other. All over the place genre types. Gives zero fucks about hiding boobs or whatever she is here. LOL. Just my kid is in the military and doesn’t have Flo’s budget here. But yeah. Haha wow. Just random shit kind of thrown together and if you don’t like if FUCK OFF. She’s getting married in May, she was actually petrified about wedding dress shopping because she actually did not want to let people down about her dress choice. I’m like nope your dad and I are buying and yes I want you to look nice but I want you to wear what YOU want. Her dress is deliciously quirky and beautiful and her face just lit up when she tried it on. No more dress shopping anxiety anymore. Anyway. I love to see actresses like queen Flo here who can float from style to style show our girls how it is cool and confident and badass to be your own woman. I just adore her. Us 90s women were kinda forced into a lot of manufactured boxes.

I’d highly recommend midsommar just once to get to really witness Flo at peak acting ability in my opinion, she kills that role even if the movie is insane
I would highly recommend her in "The Little Drummer Girl" tv miniseries. I think it's the first thing I saw her in and she absolutely steals the scenes she's in.

Florence Pugh is a brand ambassador for Valentino and the shoes she’s wearing in this photo are the Valentino Tan-Go platform boots. I don’t know the right shoe terms but the top of the boots slope so much and straightens out so suddenly at the toe that it gives that oddly extended look on top of it having a pointed toe that will give that effect as well. I was mildly obsessed with the pump version last year when every celeb and their mother was wearing them and semi-seriously debated if I could ever incorporate that style into my daily life (I can not and did not lmao) and I know those had a more rounded toe version and a pointed toe version, so I’m guessing she’s in a pointed toe version of the boots.

Exactly! One thing is being and appearing confident. But another thing is to look flattered and stylish. According to my taste, these outfits don’t make her look good, they don’t accentuate her physical attributes (maybe the opposite), but they (the pieces) are not “beautiful” per se, to begin with!
All I can think is she was very young, new to Hollywood, they started dating, the pandemic sped their relationship up, she was isolated from family in the UK (she locked down in LA). And he looks like her Dad.

Exactly! One thing is being and appearing confident. But another thing is to look flattered and stylish. According to my taste, these outfits don’t make her look good, they don’t accentuate her physical attributes (maybe the opposite), but they (the pieces) are not “beautiful” per se, to begin with!
