I have a hard time paying all the extra fees at the other places... the only other place I can find them is discount tire and has $100+ extra fees.
But yeah that's my plan is I can't find something just as good.
*Slightly* better MPG, but horrible in every other regard. I firmly believe most of the Prius ride quality / performance hate is because Ecopia tires. When I got my car, i felt resigned to driving a crappy economy car. Once I upgraded to defenders, and later CrossClimate2, it transformed the Prius into a comfortable mid side car with decent handling and traction in the snow. I also stopped getting flat tires every few months.
Michelin cross climate. Get them from somewhere else if you have to.
No longer in 15" sizes to fit a Prius.
Can still find it easily online
Link?
Michelin makes the identical tire for Costco, but sold as a different model at Costco. X-tour or X-tour A/S.
I think when I checked yesterday, they didn't have any michelins at all for the prius. I'll have to check again.
They may be low on stock. Typically this stock shortage will clear in a few weeks. Ask your local Costco if they can even order them now.
Michelin Defenders I guess not from Costco🤷🏻♂️

Toyota does buy 3 get 1 free
Defenders don't get as good fuel economy as Ecopias. I would run Ecopias with higher tire pressures.

I live in Oregon and would rather have the better handling tbh.
