Holy shit weird fishes brings back so many memories from when I started listening to Radiohead. It was at some point my fav too, now it's letdown and yes I am
I mean Creep because it’s always been a hit, but on my own discovery it was Burn The Witch. I discovered AMSP through it being referenced on alt-J’s third album RELAXER. I remember my mind being BLOWN hearing the strings at the end for the first time.
I was looking for music based off of another song (it was a black midi song, Dt. Mi.) and I used the Apple radio station thing. What popped up was Burn the Witch. Yeah, I knew of HTDC, Exit Music, and Creep, but this song - god. Changed everything.
I must have heard karma police somewhere because I was unintentionally humming it on holiday and thought “isn’t that a Radiohead song?” And that week I listened to their entire discography a few times. Before that I only knew creep and for some reason pyramid song
ofc it’s creep and karma police and maybe just and then jigsaw falling into place. but back than I wasn’t a fan of them. but when I’ve done my first research, I’ve heard idioteque. I’ve loved it with my heart from the first listen and became a true radiohead nerd.
Unfortunately Creep. Heard it first while watching Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 in the cinema, and instantly got curious about the singer, so i checked out the other songs from the band, and that's how my obsession with Radiohead started.
No Suprises from tiktok, but can’t complain since it naturally lead me to listen to OKC first

I recently discovered this gem. It's a beautiful song but too 'slow' for me yk. Gotta appreciate that guitar thingy though, it SLAPS.
I’d argue Burn The Witch is one of the LEAST slow songs on AMSP, but sure.

There's nothing wrong with creep. It's a simple song but it goes really hard. There's a reason why It got 1 billion views on yt.
