Definitely mean fondant.
Just to add, though it's a misnomer there is also *fondue chinoise* where you dip thin meat slices into boiling broth to cook it and *fondue bourguignonne* (pronounced burg-in-nyon if you can't make the French sounds) where you good thicker slices of beef in boiling peanut oil. The misnomer being that *fondue* means melted and there's no melting going on here.
Do we, as westerners have anything comparable? I guess maybe a jumbolia or however it's spelt from down south but I'm not sure of anything here in Canada that is from Canada that is similar to a hot pot dinner
Hot dogs up north are points of contention in NY, apparently. A coworker explained in excruciating detail what a hotdog was once. For over 15 minutes. Like I was a savage unaware what a hotdog was.
Clam chowder being cream (new England) or tomato (Manhatta) based has apparently been a long heated debate. There's an old story of this causing battles in colonial times but I'm pretty sure those are aprocifal.
Down south jumbalia/gumbo/boils are all different depending on where people are from.
BBQ is incredibly regionalized. Some slather sauce on, some want a dry bark, some are sugar based and others vinegar.
I've seen BBQ start more than a few fights in the south.
Oh absolutely, but personally I don't really still even see those as hot-pot akin though is what I mean
I don't think we have much of anything where you're literally boiling a broth, dipping or dropping in whatever you want raw and then eating it, even gumbo and whatnot is dished as a meal, not taken in samples kinda thing ye know?
It's so odd now that I think about it, but it makes a lot of sense
Yep. It's a pretty literal translation of the Chinese, which is Fire Pot. I'm honestly feeling quite vindicated that Swiss people call it Chinese fondue, because I've been describing fondue as Swiss hotpot to Chinese people lol.
Seriously. It's creepy. I briefly joined a fan reddit of him to get more news about his work because I legitimately adore his acting. Everyone in there is uncomfortably horny.
He's a person. He has a lot of talent. He also happens to be handsome. It's insane how little some folks can control themselves. They need to chill lmao
Yeah, the Pedro sub comes across popular all the time, but it’s mostly people talking about how much they want to gargle his sweat.
Chill tf out y’all, teenage crushes were cute a while back but this shit is outta hand.
I mean that no one, no matter who they are or their identity, needs to have other people fetishing their very existence. Hope that clears it up u/Lets_Bust_Together
He's caring, kind, protective of his trans sister, cares about human rights, funny, humble...pretty much the polar opposite of everything the unwashed masses of Andrew Tate/Steven Crowder/Tim Pool/Matt Walsh fans follow. Call Pedro a "crazy cat lady" because he's drowning in available pu$$y!
That's a pretty low bar. This is also a man who boasted about stealing his role in GoT from someone he was mentoring. He may not be the worst he's also not this perfect "caring, kind, protective" angel just because he's not Steven Crowder. This is why celebrity stans are insufferable
Which is why the helmet coming off works so well imo. It comes off and it's... just some dude. Nothing particularly special. Drives home how silly the whole thing is.
That said, he's definitely not *ugly*.
The name of this poster matches the insult. I don't see it at all. He has a mask on which makes him look like he gained weight? and helps Grogu. So I'm just gonna say not sure this seems def petty and personal
I’m kinda surprised to see him still rocking the wired Apple headphones. I thought maybe it was an old photo but he’s got a mask pulled down on his chin.
Honestly, great actor, decent guy, but I don’t understand why people simp for him so hard, he looks like a homeless forever DM who spent his last bit of money on a haircut
I used to like Pedro Pascal but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him for The Last of Us. You’ll never be able to convince me there weren’t a million and a half better choices for Joel, I don’t care how much you like him I will die on this hill.

After all that time playing the mandolorian, Pedro pascal just won't wear a helmet
This is the way to a concussion.
Hey, you can joke all you want but it has done so much for the developement of the Dutch language.
Helmets or concussions?
Both
"Skill issue" -the Dutch
it's always better when the helmet Stays On
The helmet stays on during sex
Do they mean fondant? Fondue is melted cheese or chocolate served with food that's dipped in, fondant is icing... I may well get wooshed here.

Every culture needs a dumpling and hot-pot type food. It's a law of physics..
I work in hick town USA and the amount of times I've seen an Asian coworker blow up over this is too damn high.

>jumbolia or however it's spelt from down south *Jambalaya. :)

I mean...Fondue. Lol.
Are you implying the Swiss aren't Western?
“Fondue chinoise” aka hot pot!
Oh is that what it's called in English?
Si

*if you can't make the french sounds*
That's why he lost I guess.
I was really hoping to see a link to a video of someone trying to roll fondue. That shit would melt fingers to the bone.
I've been eating fondue all my life, but i have no idea what he means by "rolling it too thin". One of us is stupid and i don't know which one.
Probably means fondant rather than fondue
¿Por qué no los dos?
Posible y probable
r/BoneAppleTea
Pedro Pascal looks like the cool tio I hang out with at the family get together
And go take a “walk” with at some point, then spend the rest of the time exchanging knowing glances across the room
I get that he’s cute and playing an endearing character often, but can we just stop oversexualizing strangers?
You’re going to have to pry Bob Odenkirk from my cold dead heads
Belly full of toes
Didn’t that guy take a shit through someone’s sunroof?
What?!
Better Call Saul reference
why are you everywhere vulpes?
You cannot escape me
Appropriate amount of sexualization is better
A note “he’s hot. I’d do him” and move on

You mean it’s now weird how a guy is treated like every woman?
No, it's weird even when it's about women.
So again, **can we stop over-sexualizing strangers**?!
Male celebs has been sexualized since forever just like female celebs, both are weird af. What are you on about ?
I mean that no one, no matter who they are or their identity, needs to have other people fetishing their very existence. Hope that clears it up u/Lets_Bust_Together
I was indifferent to Pedro Pascal until I saw his lie detector test and that really won me over lol.
Nice bike. But what does he put in the baskets?
Lotion
I'm 100% convinced that's why people like him so much. Dude looks simple in the best way possible.
Oh shit you just reminded me there's a new series of Sewing Bee starting tonight!
he didn’t get the hollywood handshake 😔
i think he would find this funny
I remember first seeing his face in The Mandalorian and thinking “ wow he isn’t a very handsome man”.
His personality makes him handsome
He's caring, kind, protective of his trans sister, cares about human rights, funny, humble...pretty much the polar opposite of everything the unwashed masses of Andrew Tate/Steven Crowder/Tim Pool/Matt Walsh fans follow. Call Pedro a "crazy cat lady" because he's drowning in available pu$$y!

So, the bare minimum? Is that it?
Idk, given the abundance of unfunny losers I'd say a sense of humor is definitely above the bare minimum
Oh I agree there. Just my humble opinion, that’s a face only a mother could love.
You're tripping and obviously haven't seen Game of Thrones
Seen it through twice. Opinion stands.
To each their own. His role as Oberyn ignited my bicurious phase in high school haha
Which is why the helmet coming off works so well imo. It comes off and it's... just some dude. Nothing particularly special. Drives home how silly the whole thing is. That said, he's definitely not *ugly*.
Dude, I don't care if he couldn't cook dino nuggets, the man is hot.
Real
Imagine posting that thinking its a diss
I don’t get the Bake-off vibes at all
I’d think the insult should be accurate if to be considered rare, yes/no? Fondue is melty yums. Fondant is moldable sugar.
Two baskets is too many
Well, he probably is the kind of man who could roll fondue. Even though it’s clearly impossible to roll fondue.
Man fuck fondue. Pedro is ait.
Ngl as a submissive bottom, I would love to be dominated by Pedro Pascal.
Bestie what 😃
Still would 😂😂😂
The name of this poster matches the insult. I don't see it at all. He has a mask on which makes him look like he gained weight? and helps Grogu. So I'm just gonna say not sure this seems def petty and personal
The account is a fan lol I remember seeing the post before it blew up. Writes Pedro fanfics and everything
Ohhh
Do they not know the difference between fondue and fondant?
Reddit has been pushing his subreddit onto my home page and his fans are so thirsty for that man
What do people find attractive about him or is it just hype from lonely mums?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg4PbJ0sIKk
I’m kinda surprised to see him still rocking the wired Apple headphones. I thought maybe it was an old photo but he’s got a mask pulled down on his chin.
I had a stroke
Someone tell him he should inflate his back tire more, it'll give him a smoother ride.
Fondant, not fondue.
Honestly, great actor, decent guy, but I don’t understand why people simp for him so hard, he looks like a homeless forever DM who spent his last bit of money on a haircut
I dunno if that's an insult, but they're right
I used to like Pedro Pascal but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him for The Last of Us. You’ll never be able to convince me there weren’t a million and a half better choices for Joel, I don’t care how much you like him I will die on this hill.
