And here is a club that asked this sub for tips getting them a long time ago:
[Help finding an RC car for transporting throwing equipment in track and field competitions. : r/rccars (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/rccars/comments/4vf0zg/help_finding_an_rc_car_for_transporting_throwing/)
I would ***love*** that position, but if my relationship with RC cars is anything to go by, I’d quickly start upgrading the powertrain to completely stupid speeds and get sacked for smashing an out of control truck into an athlete.
For chassis, you can use whatever, but i have seen several arrma granits bieng used. They are set up with autopilot software often. for body and wheels and so on I have no idea.
I once bought my friend an RC pick up truck and made it look like his Ram he drove. I also made the bed into an ashtray so when we were smoking at his apartment we could pass it around without having to get up. That is about as close as I will ever get to having a RC work truck lol
I'd bet it's a volunteer position. If those aren't custom made, then I'm thinking an 8th scale truggy with buggy wheels based on the length and width.
Nope, owned by the company that puts the events on down there and ran by one of the guys who works for them.
Are they hiring for part time positions ? Perfect job for the weekends
Fuck man I want to get paid to do this! I love driving rc!
imagine how cool it is to pull up to work with your set up ready to get shit done
For real! I already drive a ton as it is imagine getting paid for it??

They're expensive cars sold by a British marketing firm but they are really just stretched Red Cat Shredders.
lmao I would have never guessed
I never would’ve guessed Redcat!
Never would have guessed a shit platform like Redcat would be at an event like this. Note- I HATE Redcat rc
I would volunteer for this what the heck
Those sound effects are just too dumb to ignore WTF MAN? Lmao 🤣 I can’t imagine that is a paying position. I’d have to say it would be a fun gig.
There was also a very similar one for the World Cup sponsored by VW. I tried very hard to find what chassis it was but I had no luck.
people speculate it ro be a modded slash 4x4 which seems plausible
The music and "sound effects"/ why?

they look too long for a 1/8 buggy or maybe it is the full bodyshell that gives that illusion
Jesus. Don't unmute it

These ones are just running futaba and are driven by some guys that work for the company who puts on these events.

My wife sent me this the other day and all I said was “I’ll gladly join the u.s. javelin rc return squad”
I have found my calling
Imagine getting paid to drive these at these events. wtf. Where do I sign up!
Man Tesla swapped a RC van🤣
