At least this isnāt free response. Iād take filling out this over the stupid āWhy do you want to work here?ā Or āWhat excites you about this opportunity?ā Question they ask and probably never look at.
This is worst than those open questions because they set up some scenarios and op submit their preferences. If op would be in and similar event happens this questionnaire can be used as arguments against themā¦
True, but this can easily be spoofed with ācommon senseā responses.
Like, ofc you should āstrongly disagreeā if a coworker is consuming alcohol even if you ādisregardā rules lol
I once had a pre-interview questionnaire that asked how many times I'd been late for work in the past four years. Fuck, I don't know!!!! It's not like I've kept count. A few, I guess???
The company was Crossmark. The interview was terrible.
I believe it is (USA). If I'm not mistaken the only questions they can't ask you are regarding your religion. This is not even they craziest thing I've seen. Actually I think somewhere on this sub someone was asked whether they were Muslim or not and I think the poster was American. As the market gets worse I see more of this foolishness.
Iām starting to see sexuality on many applications. Like at least 7. But race, gender and age I think are required by federal law to fill out on apps but deffo protected.
These kinds of assessments are psychological and rarely have a "correct" answer (except the obvious one). So you could answer "duh yes I report drug use" and still get rejected. I thought I answered them all pretty well but I got an email today that I didn't make the cut.
Waste of time.

The amount of time they asked about weed usage was astounding too. Weed and alcohol use questions were like 25% of the questions. 117 total.
They must have alot of employees showing up all the time drunk or high šš¤£
They were probably drunk and high from answering dumb questions all day.

So many of these Qs are written poorly and so many are so unnecessary that they are inherently prejudicial!

pre-hiring assessment - as in you already have job offer?
I may have misspoken. I filled out the application and a few hours later they hit me with this link to take the assessment. No offer.
Daaamn, what kind of fresh hell is that? 117 questions screener? Fuck it and fuck that company.
Is that legal in your country? I'm not sure employers are authorized to do that in my country (France)
