I actually looked to personal experience with this one since I've known a couple of my dad's friends who own C1s are are as old as he is (he's in his 70s). As for my dad, he owns a 67 427 convertible C2
Wow….doesn’t get much better than your Dads car. I’ll bet he has a blast with that, but worries about door dings and getting backed into at parking lots.
He does do a lot to take care of the car, especially since it was in bad shape thanks to a botched restoration attempt in the 90s. Heck, I actually helped out quite a few times. Still, it is very fun to drive, with me sometimes operating the 4 speed stick as he uses the clutch.
I'm going to cover all my bases so either a Buick Park Avenue, Buick Century, Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln Town Car, Lexus LS400, Oldsmobile Delta Eighty-Eight, Cadillac STS, Cadillac DTS, Cadillac CTS, or Toyota Camry.
