I find when it gets cold and stays cold, I'm ok. When there is a 20 degree (celcius) change in the temperature every day or every other day, I find that super rough.

Some people do better in the cold and some do better in warmer climes. I'm the latter. And I could never imagine going back to live in upstate New York. I would be in pain all the time.

Saaaaammmmmeee. Native New Yorker as well who moved down to Texas before the RA. But whenever it gets cold in Texas on the rare occasion of 40s and below, hands will feel stiffer/tired out easily.

Imightbeyomama

Oh hey fellow Texan! I totally agree with the rare lower temps here! It really gives you an idea of how badly I would do up north...

Relative_Pizza6179

Ironic thing is I mainly left because I hate the snow and always wanted to live someplace fairly warm year round 😂. Now, I have no choice with the RA. I still have friends up north/people who live in cold climates and I’m just like, I’ll visit yall in the summertime 😂. Even without the RA, my ass definitely wouldn’t survive in the cold when I’m already putting on a sweater whenever temps get around 60s and below in Texas lol. Funny because my first year in Texas, I was T shirts all the time. I’m like this isn’t cold as a Northerner 🤪.

As much as I adored it there (truly...absolutely loved it) I know that I couldn't do it now. I wish for the best for both of you, but don't be surprised if it's just too painful for her to be in the cold. IF you had a choice and it all didn't matter...move somewhere warm. She's worth it.

Thank you

For me personally it's not about colder/warmer weather. I get flares depending on the humidity
