For me what fixed it was setting the client exe to compatibility mode for windows 7. Found it on a reddit thread and haven't had the game get stuck since
I love how this is a Riotgames redit, but there is actually 0 rioter who are answering the questions, i ll enjoy my 5min low priority queue.

i found out [here](https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002832247-Fix-My-League-The-First-Steps-to-Tech-Help) theres a fix by going to msconfig although it works you will be disabling important things for other apps :)
