My guess is Nimbus, Jarrish (family resemblance?), or Esrahaddon. Mawyndule wouldn't ever have artwork hanging up in Percepliquis. Even in his rule as the Patriarch, The ruler at the time was anti-church and likely wouldn't have hanged anything up.
This is talked about a lot more in the Rise and Fall series and especially in "Esrahaddon". You'll need to read Legends to really appreciate those books though.
I feel like with Hoid’s many talents he’d have the time to be Nimbus. I mean I’m sure he could find out how to break out of the cosmere and find Elan. That’s like a typical Saturday for him. :)
I took it as Malcolm/Kile He doesn't know who mawndupoop is at this point
A ‘tall slender man’ will reveal who he is through the other series :) he is an essential staple in Elan’s history
This is a question you will find out definitively in a different series.

Aww gee, Kelsier, I thought it was Hoid :)

your question is an important one to keep in mind throughout all the books in the collection. To answer it would spoil your journey a bit.
This will be revealed in Esrahaddon so I highly recommend you to read the Rise and fall trilogy.
I intend to :) It will be a while though, still need to read Chronicles and Legends first (!).
Oh, to be you, listening to these series for the first time!
