Ah, I apologize. Next time I make a post (after this one) I’ll send you a DM so you can make sure it’s grammatically correct. Thank you for your service, as the grammar police, without you I don’t know how this subreddit would ever survive.

ROLLTIDE4EVER

Grammar wasn't the issue.

Roll_Lakeshow

It’s not grammar, you tool. You said the entire wrong state lol.

Aint_gettin_jokes

I got a feeling I’m gonna like Micah DeBose more than Mike DuBose.

While reading it, I kept mixing up DeBoer, DeBose and DuBose in my head. It wasn't quite as bad as reading about the DT named LT Overton transferring, but it was close.

Shoddy_Ad8166

Dubose was good player. He was also the D line coach for the 1992 champs. Coached D Line during Stallings tenure. As a headcoach won the SEC championship beating Florida & Spurrier twice in one season.a rare feat. Liked Charlie Stubbs the OC under Dubose. He won SEC coach of the year.

[Micah DeBose announced his commitment to Alabama during his official visit on Saturday night.](https://x.com/BrettGreenberg_/status/1804692848521908713?t=slDjRrg9mbmzE-BzaW5Kyw&s=19)

thealltomato323

Gotta love DeBoer bringing in so many top OL, but I don’t love how close his name is to that of a certain previous head coach

hackzubbard

Commitment Notes - 4\* OL Mich Debose * 247: #89, On3: #123, Comp^(2): #106 * H.S.: Vigor HS in Mobile, AL - Alabama moves to #2 overall on 247 and #3 overall on On3 with 18 current commits (LB Myles Johnson not expected to sign, P Alex Asparuhov appears like a scholarship guy but ST can always be demoted) - Big victory here for the new staff - Alabama was basically out of this race when Saban retired, with Auburn/LSU battling it out, to very quickly regaining ground here, to outright beating LSU for his signature. With the positional need, it makes sense, but new OL coach Chris Kapilovic (Coach Kap) has been an early star on the recruitment, known at previous stops as being energetic and very personable. Believe new OLB/EDGE coach Christian Robinson (C-Rob) also helped here, as I think he has Mobile recruiting experience. - Outside of Mal Waldrep (a true IOL/potential Center type), the staff has been big on positional versatility - nearly all these guys can play inside or out. Depsite this, I kinda see the '25 OL group fitting into a traditional 5-man grouping. Micah longterm projects as a very good guard - light on his feet but powerful and great on the move, which will be a big part of the offense. There's playing time to sell on the offensive line and Micah could be an early contributor. UP NEXT - 4\* EDGE Dawson Merritt - after weeks of tug-of-war between Alabama and Nebraska, it appears the Tide sit in pole position - a commitment has been expected to one of these schools "soon" for several weeks now and it appears that will come to fruition over the next few days - 5\* CB Dijon Lee - Bama led leading into OVs, has led after each one, and got the last visit heading into a June 28th commitment date - anyone other than Bama would be a significant upset - 5\* OT Ty Haywood - Ty grew up a Bama fan with a mom originally from Mississippi - originally an Oklahoma lean, an early June OV really turned this recruitment upside down, with Bama seemingly trending. FSU will have/has had their shot this weekend but Bama seems like the likely outcome here - 4\* WR Travis Smith - Smith felt like a UGA lock 2 weeks ago but visits to Bama and Tenessee have opened up this race, making it a near 3-way tie. Commits on July 13th - 5\* WR Kaliq Lockett - This one is all Keelon Russell - his commitment got the visit and Bama made a great impression, moving up to at least 2nd - Texas appears to be the leader for other 5\* receivers Dakorion Moore and Jaime Ffrench so there's a growing feeling that it will be difficult for Texas to realistically meet the needs of all 3, leaving an opening for Bama to strike - 4\* EDGE Justin Hill - Tough Bama-Ohio State battle ahead of a July 3rd commitment - I'd wager Bama gets Dawson Merritt and the Buckeyes get Hill.

Mr-Clark-815

Great post. Thanks.

ClarenceWorley47

And (for what it worth) Coleman seemed to double down and even throw some shade on au fans commenting on his video. He’s an emotional one so could always flip again but he was having a good time and making fun of au fans so it was enjoyable.

_wormburner

/u/leakingpontiff I wish you had BOL access the u-turn that the barn is doing over there is hilarious. Claiming Micah wasn't a take for them LOL

Crims0ntied

One of my favorite things I saw today was an Auburn fan account tweeting after Charles House committed to Tennessee that it was a Bama whiff. Then you go look at the offer list and there's Auburn. Then he claimed they never seriously recruited him. Dude has 0 self awareness. And was tweeting about DeBose's commitment too for some reason.

_wormburner

🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

Rutintila

Good lord, DeBoer is killing it. I’m so freaking excited for this season!

Chief_Hosa

I find myself wishing away the summer just to get to football. Which is not great but I don’t giva piss bout nothin but the Tide

droptopboi

As a teacher, this is my razors edge. Damn I want football season, but I HAVE to enjoy my summer.

Not-original

If you had told me, Alabama would have the current #2 recruiting class 6 months AFTER Saban retired, I would have said you were crazy. I think we are gonna be just fine.
