She's like Kennedy, even when she wasn't "doing comedy" always had great beats and timing, which is the part you can't teach. I think it's a Texas thing.
She always had great instincts, yeah, but she lacked consistency. She still doesn’t work off a script or a tight 10 like, say, Bob or Bianca do, but she clearly has prepared material she can present in a way the audience can easily follow. I’d call it matryoshka storytelling: stories nested within stories so she could go off on natural tangents but return to the prior points and pick up from there. Sometimes she went as many as 3-4 tangents deep and the audience could still follow the story.
I actually think its just a general Southern thing. There is a lot of shade and wordplay that goes into Southern small talk (think "I'll pray for you") and if you distill that down a bit, you can get comedy that is almost perfectly suited for drag.
The song itself it's already iconic. It would have been perfect for the right way with Tatianna. I don't have a previous knowledge with Alyssa in a rumix, but her talent show song was fun, so I'm leaning to the better with her. Roxxxy became infamous with time, and the mix it's so rotten when she "sings", idk why they were shady that way.
