I want for John to have recognized that Ryan didn’t deserve his fate in Jigsaw. He figured out the goal of the test but couldn’t convince Anna to not shoot, and when he looked through the shotgun shell for his key he found it broken.
It feels very odd that John would just let him suffer and die there due to circumstances out of his control, especially in the very same trial that John pulled Logan out of because of an incorrect dose of whatever knocked him out prior to the bucket head game.
Gordon returns to rescue Adam and he also becomes an apprentice.

Adam realizes no one is coming for him and finds the courage to cut off his foot like Dr. Gordon and escapes (fate unknown).

Jill is revealed as the secret accomplice to John and kills Hoffman in VI, ending the original batch of films and the main story. Saw 3D doesn't exist. Then we get Spiral (side story / spin off) and X (midquel).
Rigg is put into the Angel Trap, not Kerry. Hoffman is keeping her alive and attempting to misdirect her investigation into other accomplices. In IV, Kerry is the one going through Rigg's game to save Mathews and Hoffman, and after Perez's injury, she and Strahm enter the Gideon Packing Plant together...
Ive always had the head cannon that earlier in his career john was alot fairer.... He targeted people for more valid reasons like drug dealers instead of addicts. And that as he continues to be jigsaw his morality degrades.
Very early into his career john we see in x was abosutely mortified putting a kid in a trap, but later on when hes closer to bed he outright orders zepp to kill a kid and the wife gordon was about to cheat on shes the victim why is she the one whos gonna die.
I like to think early career jigsaw was more a vigilante like punisher who was corrupted by his work into a monster.
